Cottage was amazing, so well thought out and many unexpected things provided.

The welcome pack of goodies was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The one negative for us was the difficulty parking with a 7 seater long vehicle. That apart it was the best cottage we have stayed at.

Glam Awel is a perfect holiday cottage.

It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything was labelled and organised for ease of use. The garden was perfect for our little dog and the outside seating provided a Lovely far reaching view. Definitely one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in .

The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed, including a photo album of the area and brochures for things to do. We had the best time exploring, and it was always great to come back to a wonderful, cosey cottage after a long day.

The cottage was everything as described.

In addition the garden was perfect for a dog or for children, being secure and well maintained. We would suggest that the furniture in the double bedroom be changed around as it is not possible to walk around the bed. Parking was also an issue.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, good quality appliances and well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable with good quality linens. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. A lot of thought given by the owners to make it a home from home. We would definitely love to come back.

We really enjoyed our week at Glan Awel.

It was warm, comfortable and well equipped. The enclosed garden is ideal if you have a dog. A generous welcome pack was provided which included something for the canine visitors. Just a pity the weather didn't match the cottage!

Glan Awel is a beautiful cottage,hidden gem of Nefyn.

The cottage was warm and toasty on our arrival, lovely welcome pack and all essentials made it an amazing experience from the first night. It is a spacious cottage, loved the wepl equiped kitchen area and a big garden with such stunning views. Very comfy beds too. Dog loved the garden, so did the child! We loved that it is located not too far from so many beautiful towns (butchers,fishmongers,bakery, lidl and other shops and few pubs all nearby) and easily accessable seasides, which are all dog friendly (until May). Parking was a bit tricky, as it is right up the hill, but we still managed to park our 7 seater. I think it has been the best stay for us in terms of cleaniness,comfort and equipment wise place. I am already looking at potential holiday dates in 2026! Thank you Eurwyn and Gwenda.

Lovely cottage.

Had a lovely time there. Owners very friendly. Cottage exactly as described with everything you might need. Would love to go again. There is much on the Llyn peninsula than I thought and the cottage is perfectly situated to explore.

Communication from the owners was excellent and we were impressed with our welcome card accompanied by some lovely treats and essentials like bread and milk.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden is a lovely place to sit, particularly in the morning sun, as it has gorgeous views.

Fully equipped with everything you would need whilst away. The beds were extremely comfy. The photos online don't give it justice and the views from outside are incredible. If i had one idea for improvement it would be a BBQ station outside to enjoy the views. But in all could not fault the place and we will hundred percent be returning next year

Could not be any cleaner, everything you can possibly need is there, lovely peaceful garden, lots of places to visit, secure for the dog, and all the people in the village were very friendly, all being well will book again next year

The thought that had gone into everything was great; the welcome basket for us and for our dog, the hose and water bowl outside. The property was very well equipped and in a lovely location close to lots of beautiful walks.

We arrived at the cottage which was spotless.

There is everything you need for a self catering holiday, really well equipped. We had a glorious week, had our morning coffee in the garden, enjoying the views and the adorable pony in next doors garden. The neighbours are lovely people too!! It is situated in the most peaceful surroundings and brilliant for exploring the lyn peninsula and beyond. Fab week, just not long enough!! Will return.

Lovely clean cottage.

Very well equipped. Couldn't comment on the view, as it was foggy all week. Lovely welcome pack for us and our dog. Thank you. A couple of minor and 1 major problem for us. Minor - post code takes you to a totally different house down the hill. As we arrived in the dark, it took us over 30 mins to find right house. TV signal intermittent - look at something like Sky TV, that would be good. Major - Found the position of the double bed awkward and tight. If you slept on the window side, you'd smack your legs on the frame or fall onto the bed. As not very nimble, this was a daily occurrence. Maybe swapping rooms, aka children's room in the smaller bedroom, aka 1 single bed and bunk beds, would solve the problem. However, thanks again for letting us stay at your lovely cottage. Please don't let my concerns put anyone off from booking. Also, have to say that the kitchen was fab.

Spotlessly clean & very comfortable.

Only problem was getting off the drive, it was really difficult & tight given the wall opposite.

We found the property very clean and well presented.

It was well equipped with good quality items all of which were kept to a very good standard. The outside area was great for our dogs and secure. Perhaps an outside light towards the upper end of the garden would be an advantage in the dark evenings to observe pets. Our only small criticism would be regarding the heating. The controls didn’t work and therefore it was constantly kicking in throughout the night, which wasn’t ideal. Overall we were very happy with the property and would happily recommend it to anyone who is looking for a holiday in the area.

Glan Awel is a fabulous, modern bungalow, clean, comfortable and cosy.

Walks from the door step although Nefyn is approx 25 minutes walk there. Rear garden safe and secure for our Collie. Parking requires patience with larger vehicles though. Really glad to see that the Bryncynan is once again worth a visit. Would highly recommend the Glan Awel to friends and family.

A fantastic cottage in a great location.

The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed. It felt like we were the first people to ever stay in it. The beds and pillows were very comfy and all bedding lovely. The garden was perfect and secure for the dog. There was a lovely card and welcome basket with treats, this was a lovely touch. We will return, thank you.

Close to the beaches but far enough away for quiet. The property is well laid out, a good size. Garden was brilliant for the dogs and us. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

The cottage/bungalow was beautiful.

It was one of the best we have stayed in and we have been in cottages all over the UK for the past 48 years as a married couple. Very clean and well equipped. Our two dogs loved the garden.

Superbly equipped modern cottage.

Very large kitchen/diner with lots of crockery, utensils, etc. Excellent shower. Two large comfortable sofas. Nice rural location with a lovely easy walk from the house up Mynydd Nefyn with its fabulous views across the peninsula. Plenty of power points in kitchen/diner but not many elsewhere. Only minor issues are a lack of any comfortable outdoor furniture and reversing out of the drive is a bit tricky but not enough for us to not give this place 10/10. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

We have just had a weeks holiday at Glan Awel and what a lovely week it was!

! The cottage is beautiful, spotlessly clean, warm, peaceful, extremely well equipped. We had such a great week, have come home totally relaxed and refreshed. We normally stay in a different holiday rental in Nefyn but that wasn't free so the lady that owns it found us Glan Awel.

What a gem. Beautiful location. 5 min drive from Nefyn but so peaceful . Comfy beds . Lovely shower . Perfect for our dog . Ample parking for 2 cars .Large enclosed garden . A lovely picnic table where I enjoyed my morning coffee . Surrounded by fields with lambs ! I can't praise this cottage enough not to mention to be beautiful welcome pack and treats for the dog ! Thank you !

Glan Awel was one of the best holiday places we have stayed in.

The bungalow was well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. My escapee springer spaniel was unable to find a way out of the garden. Found the folder with instructions about recycling, washing machine etc very useful. When we arrived the palce was clean and welcoming, beds were comfortable. Lovely place for a peaceful chilled break with plenty of walks in the area.

Absolutely amazing property that was well maintained and very clean.

Beds were super comfortable. This was a 'last minute' booking as the property we were supposed to stay in was withdrawn by the owner so wasn't as much choice for our budget at the time. Property was a lot bigger and more spacious than the pictures show so that was a nice suprise as was the fact the garden was secure as in the pictures I got the impression it was an open or communal garden! Was a joy to cook Xmas dinner in the huge kitchen! The only thing I missed was a slow cooker and serving tongs, we had planned on bringing our own as we usually do but didn't have any space in the car! The property is in a lovely location 'out in the sticks' with fantastic sea views and is lovely and peaceful yet only a 5 min drive to Nefyn town which has a wonderful well stocked spar shop. Nearest bigger town with an Asda is only a 15 min drive and Caernarfon is only a 30 mins drive. Snowdonia is also a 30 - 45 min drive and there are also so many beaches within a half hour! We loved walking around Abersoch and we visited different beaches each day! The only negative would have been the shower as we struggled to get it hot and when we did get some hot water it only lasted 5 mins which was difficult for 5 of us but we managed. Thank you once again for letting us stay and we hope we left the property clean enough.

Fantastic cottage, everything we could have possible required was catered for.

Spotlessly clean and well maintained Beautiful view's from the garden. But not the same view as indicated on sykes website, It was also misleading as it gave the appearance of being on it own, not as this mattered neighbours were very welcoming. But when trying to locate property we were looking for a single cottage, hence we drove past twice My advice would be to ignore sat nav as its unable to locate property. Use owners directions. Location of property was ideally situated for us to visit and enjoy the Llyn peninsula We would return to glan awel and recommend it to family and friends.

We loved the cottage.

Interesting to read the history of the building. It was comfortable, clean and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Great views from the dining area. Very quiet and peaceful. We walked into Nefyn several times, although harder coming back up the hill! We would love to return soon.

Glan Awal is the nicest & cleanest holuday cottage we have ever stayed in.

Beautiful location and excellent cottage with every mod con you can wish for.

Cleanliness superb,beds so comfortable. Loved it so much we have told all our friends about it and we have put it on our bucket list for another stay there. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful happy place to visit with lots of places to go if you feel energetic.

Cottage was lovely.

But not walking distance to the town. Had to use the car all the time. Shame because beautiful cottage. Needs recliner chairs for garden to relax. Very strong smell of diesel in the garden. Dog was poorly one night not sure if it was due the the diesel smell or not. Would book nefyn again but not this property due to location. Road very narrow and dangerous and too far to walk. 18-25 August 2023 Myself, daughter and grandchildren had a brilliant holiday in North Wales.

Our stay at Glan Awel was just amazing, a lovely clean and comfortable cottage with a spacious garden and beautiful views. My grandchildren are already planning when they can visit again.

We loved the cottage, clean, quiet Internet average no TV connection ariel issues.

We enjoyed a short stay at Glan Awel, based in a great location to explore the Llŷn peninsula and the beautiful area of Nefyn.

The cottage is well presented, comfortable, well-equipped, clean and in quiet surroundings. The garden is fully enclosed and was safe for our dog to explore, a great pet friendly place!
