We had a fantastic 3 nights and it really did feel like a peaceful sanctuary!

Just what we needed, and the weather was amazing too. The house is in a lovely quiet location really close to the beautiful coast and not far from the bay with shops and restaurants. We loved the living space upstairs with the balcony looking out to the sea, and it was very comfortable. The showers were great and beds extremely comfortable. We all slept well!! My only slight negative is that is that it could have been cleaned better. The shower screens, mirrors and windows didn't look like they had been cleaned and some of the towels had small stains on them. The dishwasher was also full when we arrived so we had to empty it. Just small points that didn't spoil our stay - just some feedback for the cleaners. It really was a lovely house in a great location and we would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Crockery and pots and pans were insufficient for a 5 person accommodation.

There were only 3 of us and we ran out several times. There were about 4 huge catering size pans but only 2 normal sized pans and the bowls were all huge. The third bedroom curtains did not fully cover the window because the curtain rail bowed downwards and the computer chair and monitor were not conducive to relaxation apart from taking up lots of space. Also it would feel more private if there was a net curtain or privacy blind in this room. The child size slip-on flip flops provided did not work out well for our adult daughter age 29 years! The swing was enjoyed and the hanging airer in the kitchen worked well for one person’s swimming clothes and towels. The chairs and sofa were very comfy .

Excellent location for beach and coastal strolls.

Maybe 200yards to the coast. The house is bright, roomy and modern. Sitting on the settee allows you to watch the waves breaking on the rocks a few hundred yards away. The house was warm with the heating on and the showers were great. The wet/ room bathrooms clean and modern. I take my own pillow and we all felt the beds were comfy. More cups, glasses and plates would mean the dishwasher was full when we used it but there is just enough stuff for visitors. Lots of pans and trays for cooking and the kitchen and dinning area are bright and spacious. On arrival maybe we look around more closely then the cleaners and maybe more closely than we would in our own home. The skirting boards could do with a wipe and one of the skylights had a few spiderwebs . We might be accused of nit picking , I imaging the cleaners are on a very tight schedule. Saying a couple of negative things would not stop us from going back to Seaside Sanctuary . Over the years we've stayed in many Sykes houses and this is one to recommend.

Seaside sanctuary is a nicely presented large house.

Clean and overall a good place to stay. An upside down house that works really well. 2 double rooms, one ensuite and a single, all good sized and comfortable beds, pillows could do with an upgrade. Shower rooms are very good with lovely decor and the showers are really good. One suggestion for the shower rooms would be a shaving socket for an electric toothbrush. Upstairs is a welcoming large living room, 3 seater couch and 2 comfy chairs. Large smart TV with Freeview, Netflix etc. Large patio doors open up to a balcony view of the sea. The kitchen is large with almost everything you need, it's missing a caffetierre or even better a coffee machine, also there we're only 2 wine glasses although we were a family of 5 adults staying over the new year. The house is located just after Trearddur Bay with a beach at the end of the driveway and just a 10/15 minutes walk to the main beach, pubs, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay again.

Although the overall description was fair the accommodation didn't feel very welcoming or homely.

The livingroom furniture was all adequate but dated and several cushions were stained. Lots of empty shelving made the room unwelcoming as did the mis-matched colours and the cobwebs. (the precious new carpet added nothing to the overall effect). The kitchen/diner was clean and tidy but had limited useful glassware, pans etc. We were also disappointed that no welcome gift had been supplied. Although tea and coffee were on the tray the lack of milk made them unusable on arrival. Downstairs the bathrooms and bedrooms were much better appointed with enough storage for our 3 day stay. Basic instructions for heating system, oven, microwave etc would of been appreciated.

Home from a fantastic week at Seaside Sanctuary.

The cottage had everything we needed and more. Morning coffee on the balcony was a highlight, the views are amazing . We would definitely book this again.

Spent a week at this gorgeous house which had everything we needed and was so close to the beach, not even a 2minute walk!

We'd previously stayed next door to this house so knew the layout, such a great idea to have the upstairs as living area, it's massive! We were intrigued by the dining table

Lovely accomadation Fantastic location 5 minutes to beach,a lovely veranda with amazing views and a lovely enclosed garden.

Only problem 2 bath towels and 2 large hand towels between 4 people for a 2 week stay.With a few exchanged messages with owner problem sorted. We arrived late in evening after a long journey so little tip for owner small carton of milk in fridge would be most welcome left some takeaway leaflets and info leaflets for places to visit Helpful for next guests Would certainly come back again Fabulous holiday Thankyou Roxy

A beautiful property in a stunning location.

The primary tv being a smart TV was disappointing for my 88 year old mother and almost 80 year old friend as they had no idea how to operate it. There was a dangling coax cable which had a wrong or broken connector! The second tv was not a tv but a monitor, not much use! A couple of cleaning issues in the kitchen.These were all reported to Sykes several times but to no avail! The sliding door mechanism jammed three days later,I was unable to lock it; contacted Sykes several times again and stressed it was a safety issue, someone came and locked the door but I was unable too so it remained locked for the duration of our stay. They also replaced the connector on the coax and replaced it into the back of the tv. Whilst we were aware of being economical with utilities a complete letterbox would help with running costs; during a windy and rainy day the wind was howling through it, reducing the temperature and making it uncomfortable. All these issues could be easily remedied and make Seaside Sanctuary an excellent retreat.

we did report stale sandwich on fire place the fire place was dirty and the tables and shelves the oven was greasy so not used by us the mircowave smelled of curry and not used toaster not emptied so not used the beds were clean so was the down stairs but the kitchen worktops had tea stains and where sticky we took photos and sent them to sykes and the tv was hard to use for someone of 84 not used to using apps on it i would not book again.

Absolutely would book again.

A great 3 night stay at Seaside Sanctuary.

Situated in a quiet cul de sac with a lovely sea view from the balcony. Comfortably furnished across the property, with a fully fitted kitchen and probably the best bathrooms at any property I’ve ever stayed at. This was an excellent property and will look to stay at again the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended.

What a lovely property!

Ideally located with the sea literally on your doorstep. Very spacious, airy and has that seaside holiday feel. All the amenities that you would ever require with some milk and biscuits on arrival for tea making which was a really nice touch. Instructions to the property easy to follow and laid out. Only downside there wasn't TVs in any of the bedrooms and there were a few cobwebs in a few of the corners. This never bothered us as we had a tablet and a laptop and we were knackered from the days activities anyway. We would 100% recommend.

A great place to stay, we know the area well from previous visits.

Sadly the house was very chilled when we arrived, and for approximately 2-3hrs we couldn’t locate the information folder for the property. The only tel. no. I had on the Sykes app said the “office was closed”. By chance the folder was found but very much “hidden”, & we were able to sort some heat. That said very comfortable and quiet location, only a few minutes drive or longer to walk into the bay and it’s restaurants etc.

We had a good holiday.

The house has lots of potential and lovely but let down by a shabby look outside and inside. Standard well below other holiday homes we have rented through Sykes. No wardrobes or clothes hanging equipment in beds 2 & 3. Inadequate having space for two adults in bedroom one. Lack of chairs for 5 people. Lack of other items for 5 people. Lack of basic items in the kitchen. We addressed these shortfalls with agents and owner, who were very eager to help, but their response this was the standard for this part of UK! This house has great potential to be a holiday home, and we would certainly return if the issues were addressed. The area is lovely and well served for holidaymakers.

We enjoyed our week here, however, I think the property description is probably due for an update.

For example, it states a bathroom with bath..there is no bath, ( this as always something we request on the filters when booking) there aŕe 2 shower rooms. There is a smart tv nut terrestrial tv is unavailable. A garden table and parasol would be useful, should you wish to dine alfresco. There is limited wardrobe space available only in1 bedroom. We also left a couple more wine glasses.

The property is lovely.

Was really clean and well appointed. The spot in Trearddur is marvelous, far enough to be away from the hassle and bustle but close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. A little bay is literally2 minues walk from the front door and is fabulous. Can only really swim at high tides as its rocky but it's a gorgeous spot for sitting and enjoying the view, the sunsets are immense. All in all, a perfect spot for couples or families, for action packed holidays or chilled out beach days. We'd definitely return.

Large comfy property, clean and comfortable in a quiet area.

Enjoyed the view from the lounge. Could do with some instructions on how to use TV (set up to stream only)and there was no wine glasses, but we purchased a couple and left them as thanks for our stay(we do think a cheeky glass or two makes a holiday.

The positives lovely house with a great view, super beds , very comfortable kitchen fully kitted out, washer, dryer, dishwasher, lots of storage etc big comfortable lounge lovely bathrooms with shower's , master bedroom well equipped with lots of storage cupboards the negatives very creaky/noisy floor boards, keeps kids awake down stairs when you are upstairs relaxing Towels need larger bath sheets, and a few more washes to stop them shedding fluff on you when you dry, On suit shower room is really nice but could do with an end screen instead of the folding door as showering splashes all over the toilet unless you are really careful, we ended up just using the main shower room to stop getting the toilet wet Bin in kitchen needs a swing or lift lid as picking lid up to put on the table or side is not ideal when putting rubbish in, looks nice but a bit awkward Computer chair in main room has been put on back to front so tilts forward instead of backwards, Blinds needed on front door as you can see in when going to the toilet in the evening Other two bedrooms only have draws for storage Could do with table and chair/ sun lounges outside, Small chair's for balcony up stairs would be nice for looking at the sunset or sun rise These are all minor things detracting from a really lovely house that we would come back to
