Walkers will delight in the excellent choice of walking spots in North Wales, with many wanting to head up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales' highest peak, which has an extensive network of trails to explore, or head to the coast to embark on a journey along the Wales Coastal Path, with Wales actually the first country in the world to have a footpath around its entire coastline.

Those who would prefer to enjoy a scenic and effortless journey to the top of Snowdon, fear not for the Snowdon Mountain Railway runs from Llanberis station and climbs to the summit of Snowdon, so you can experience stunning panoramic views and visit the UK's highest visitor centre Hafod Eryri.

For exciting activities on the water, travel to Llanberis and find Snowdonia Watersports where you can try wild fresh-water swimming, coasteering, paddle boarding and inland and sea kayaking among the activities they offer.
