A great base for a holiday in the Caernarfon & Snowdonia area.

The cottage is very well appointed with everything you would need. Spotless and airy. Ideal for an adventure up the hills or down the cycle track. A very private location with safe private parking. Friendly hosts who leave you to get on with your holiday. 10/10 review, absolutely no negatives, only wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent base to explore the area, from Snowdonia national Park to Anglesey and down to Porthmadog The cottage itself was clean and well looked after, and with everything we needed, my only slight gripe was the garden was not secure for a little dog, she could have gotten under the gate, but we kept her on a lead, but I think that could be improved

Lovely place, peaceful.

Ideal for two people, lots of car parking space, easy access to main highways and all holiday centres. Hostess was very helpful and friendly. Would book again.

..there is a slight issue with damp...but we know this was down to the weather...and it did not detract from our stay...we had a lovely time...it was nice seeing the horse a d sheep nearby as well as the birds.. definitely on our list of places we would stay in again.

This is our 2nd time staying here this time with my daughter and I've nothing bad to say about our stay it has been amazing from minute one, as it was the 1st time we visited here.

John and Carys leave you too it say hi or give you a wave if they see you about. Always so friendly and welcoming. Definitely going to book again I love this place its just a perfect home away from home.

Carys was a friendly and helpful host from the moment that I arrived.

The property is welcoming, comfortably furnished and very clean. Usefully kitted out with what you might need. Situated adjacent to the A487 it’s well placed to car based exploration of the area. Plus close access to a great cycle path. My main concern is the entrance that has high steep steps - the metal rail helps, but for anyone with mobility issues it can be a challenge. Somewhere to hang wet outdoor gear would be helpful, plus the doormat inside the property moves to easily on the vinyl flooring.

We would love to return.

Cerys was a lovely host it was pouring of rain the night we arrived and she stood outside to guide us in, bless her she was soaked but you could tell how helpful she was. Very very well equipped in a brilliant position to access anywhere. Clean and comfy and cosy for 2 and our little dog

This is my second time at this cottage, as before it is always very clean and well presented, it has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.

The cottage is situated in a great place for all the great places North Wales has to offer, the owners John and Carys are really nice, very welcoming and always about if you need anything (but not intrusive). I would genuinely recommend this cottage as always it makes a great holiday that much better.

Carys and John made us feel really welcome a lovely bottle of wine to greet us when we arrived accommodation really comfortable.

Everything we needed.Our dog loved the garden but she was a little scared of the sheep in the field opposite. Would go back as really relaxing and plenty of places to visit. Thank you Nina and David

Thank you for providing a comfortable and quiet place to relax each evening after a busy day out working in Caernarfon.

With the A487 bypass immediately available the travel to destinations is rapid in a morning. Carys and John are nearby if you need any help but also subtly leaving you completely undisturbed as if you had your own remote hideaway! It just works very well. Also you have your own spacious secure parking area so no fighting with anyone else for the last kerbside space each day! I’ll be returning as you can guess. Dan.

Fantastic location, clean, comfortable home from home!

!! Myself, my partner & dog highly recommend this property. We were greeted by John , he gave us a tour of the property as well as advice on local places to eat and visit.We chose the Black Boy, in caernarfon & The Goat , about 10 mins from the property, both were above our expectations. As a railway enthusiast our time was mostly spent riding steam trains , however there are many attractions all within a short drive of the property. P.s the sheep and the horse visited us daily and were all welcome for an ear rub...

We were very comfortable,the kitchen was very well equipped.

Owners were very friendly & on hand if we needed anything.I'd contacted them before arrival & got helpful advise too. Ideal base to visit beaches & Anglesey.Perfect for the dog as there was an old railway track very close to the property for him to have a walk.

A really lovely holiday cottage, extremely clean and comfortable and welcoming host.

The location is perfect for exploring the area, Anglesey has some beautiful places to visit as well as the wonderful scenic views around the national park all within easy driving distance. Only downside was we were only there for 3 nights, would definitely recommend a longer stay.

This property was in the ideal situation for visiting the Llyn peninsula, Caernarfon and Snowdonia.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Me and my partner stayed here for a week and we loved every minute of being here it's a beautiful place the hosts and family are so kind and welcoming.

We will definitely be booking here again. Only slight down side the markings on the oven have faded but a bit of trial and error we managed. Even this hasn't put us off its a minor thing. Cannot wait to book again, visit again and stay again 100% recommend.

Beautiful cottage, friendly and welcoming hosts.

Clean and tidy on arrival, stocked with us useful items such as tea and sugar, cleaning equipment etc. Dog friendly, small garden which our Labrador loved. Close to amenities and locations and great walks. Will be happy to return as I continue my photography work in this area of Cymru

I had a fantastic stay it was perfect for me and Daisy my little dog.

Clean and simple with everything I needed. Close to great hikes in the mountains or by the coast. The hosts were on hand if I needed them. I had a brilliant week and would love to come back again.

Amazing break.

In a great location for travelling to many beautiful places. Lovely accomodation, perfect for a couple with a dog. They thought of everything. I brought things we didn't need, that haven't been available in other accomodation, like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets tea-towels. 2 very minor problems - bathroom taps misbehaving and missing marking on the oven requiring a bit of trial and error. Nothing that would stop me going back

We found the cottage to be excellent value for money.

A good location with new roads proving easy access to a variety of tourist attractions. The owners lived next door and were very helpful. Our chihuahua proved to be very interested in the horse and sheep she could see through the glazed doors. Tony, Jen and Lotty from West Sussex

Clean, neat, quiet and the hosts were so nice. Enjoyed the sheep as we used to raise them ourselves. Beautiful village but more like a country stay.

Basic but comfortable accommodation within the main dwelling. Would recommend for a base to stay.

You will need a car to get to other attractions in the area. The owners are lovely they are close by so available if you require anything but do not invade your space. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage feels very isolated but has good connections to surrounding areas, and the owner is very respectful of your privacy but also helpful if needed.

I'd recommend staying here.
