The hot tub was definitely a highlight for us, especially as having a young child meant we weren't able to go out in the evenings, so it was a wonderful way to relax.
We do have a few small suggestions that we hope are helpful for future guests. It would be a nice touch to provide a few kitchen essentials such as cooking oil, salt and pepper, along with a couple of extra toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets for longer stays. We found ourselves needing to purchase these towards the end of our visit.
The toilet seat was also a little loose during our stay, so it may just need a quick adjustment. Although we appreciate it wasn't advertised as an amenity, we think a washing machine would be a fantastic addition for guests staying for several days.
Finally, a slightly more thorough dusting between guests would make an already lovely property even better. There were quite a few long legged spiders around the house. They didn't bother us, as we're used to living in the countryside, but might not have been to all guests likings having so many 8 legged friends around the house!

As this is a self-catering property, we provide a small starter supply of essential items to help guests settle in on arrival, with any additional items required during the stay being the responsibility of guests.
