We had such a great week staying at Storws - it was the perfect lay out for us (family of 5 plus grandparents), very clean & well-equipped.

Really friendly hosts close by too. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

The house was warm and comfortable with all the facilities we needed, especially a bathroom for each couple .

The owners were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the welcome gifts particularly the home made cake. This a convenient location for exploring all parts of the island . We would certainly be happy to return here.

We all had a great stay at Storws Cottage and can’t thank the owners enough for their hospitality during our week long stay.

The cottage located within their farm was lovely and a great location for visiting the beautiful island of Anglesey. We would most definitely recommend staying to our friends and family if contemplating a visit to Anglesey.

We were delighted with this property.

It worked extremely well for our party of 6 adults and a toddler. The property felt like new, everything spotless, and beautifully arranged and appointed. The fittings and furniture were all very good quality and the kitchen was well-equipped. We especially liked the two spacious seating areas in addition to the dining area. So many holiday properties devote space to bedrooms at the expense of living rooms, which is what you want when spending time with friends and family. In this property the three en suite bedrooms were really spacious as well. The location was very peaceful and our little one loved seeing the farm animals. The proprietor were really helpful and friendly and we think should be proud of their lovely property.

We have had a lovely 2 weeks stay at Storws, which is an immaculate property.

The hosts Elen and John made us welcome and the complementary barabrith, milk, eggs and butter were appreciated. We used Storws as a base for completing the Anglesey coastal path and found it a good central location for doing this. The hot tub was very welcoming to relieve the aches and pains at the end of each day.

If you book Storws, you won’t be disappointed.

A beautifully spacious living room and kitchen … much better than ours. The bedrooms are spacious too, with en-suite bathrooms. Lovely, fresh and clean. A great experience all round. Not too far from amenities, with a large Spar and petrol station at bottom of the road. You can buy extra logs there too. The wood burning stove is huge. There was the most beautiful cake, eggs,milk there on our arrival. Much appreciated, thank you. There are logs as a starter at the property. Only one thing I would ask for is a fireside companion…tool…set. Even though there were great fireproof gloves, there really does need more than that to sort out a lit fire. But apart from that. A big thank you to Elen and her hubby. Keep up the good work

Excellent directions from the owners to find the property.

Warm and friendly greeting on arrival. Milk, eggs and homemade cake were a welcome treat. Thank you. Lots of space, plenty of comfortable seating and a very well equipped kitchen made our visit feel like home from home! Super comfy beds and quiet farm setting made for undisturbed sleep. The ground floor bedroom was well suited to guests with limited mobility but a grab rail in the shower would be a welcome bonus. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was excellent, great location, and hosts were welcoming, attentive and helpful throughout.

Everything was spot on, from cleanliness to comfort, very spacious for 6 people, we had everything that we needed, facilities perfect, . We were made to feel very welcome. With lovely gestures on arrival. Eggs, milk and a yummy fruit cake made by elen. Elen and John were lovely, very accomodating and helpful. Nothing was too much. What an amazing stay we had.

Cottage was spotless, spacious and super comfortable. Only thing we missed was dressing tables but that’s being picky as not everyone uses them. Elen and John were lovely hosts. In a great location to explore Anglesey. We would highly recommend Storws and would definitely return. Didn’t want to leave!

What an absolutely beautiful property, you can see all of the time and hard work that has gone into this project.

Cleanliness was second to none. The property is located in a lovely quiet area with some stunning views. The owners were both very helpful with any little niggles we had and any information we needed. Overall this was one of our most favourite family holidays we’ve had. It was our first time in Anglesey and it was all made so much better by stopping in this 5* accommodation. We cannot wait to return

Lovely spacious place with very comfortable beds and a feeling of luxury.

However we were greeted by quite a number of flies within the property, the broken games could do with replacing, the water at one point wasn't working which was promptly fixied following a phone call with some clear annoyance in the background, and on the final morning after looking forward to a final dip in the spa pool I found it had been emptied overnight! When I mentioned this, the owners then questioned whether I was joking. I was not joking, it was disappointing.

John and Elen were great hosts.

It is clear they are very proud of their property and keep it beautifully. Could do with a few hooks though in the bathrooms! ;-) super location :-)

A well presented and spacious property in lovely countryside.

The furnishing and fittings including the bathrooms were of good quality. Close to a family friendly beach at Benllech with plenty of amenities, but travelling anywhere was easy. The owners are friendly and live on site so any queries can be easily answered. The hot tub was private enough to be enjoyed without feeling on show. We were a party of 6 adults and a one year old across 3 generations and would happily return to Storws again, we had a lovely holiday.

Spacious comfortable beds and ensuites. Cosy sitting room and light airy open plan kitchen dining space. Loved the toasty warm hot tub where we gazed at the stars. Peaceful farm setting. Great for families and not far to beach. Helpful friendly owners live on site.

The property was lovely!

Amazing space and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The hot tub was so clean and they even put warm water in it for us as we were only there for the weekend. There were cleaning supplies under the sink so we didn’t need to worry about bringing our own dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid. There is also plenty of board games if the weather is bad! Thank you so much for our lovely stay. We would all definitely stay here again.

Absolutely stunning holiday property perfectly positioned for exploring Anglesey.

It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, plus Elen and John were fantastic hosts who couldn't do enough for you (Elen's homemade cake was thoroughly enjoyed!). Ample parking for our three cars, the hot tub was great, and the downstairs bedroom with walk in shower is ideal for elderly relatives that may be joining you. Would have loved a little BBQ outside as pictured (not that we had the weather for it!), but otherwise everything is as pictured, if not better! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Had a lovely week’s stay .

Everything was just perfect . The hot tub was a nice treat at the end of a busy day out and about . The delicious cake waiting for us was a nice surprise. One wish, that you supplied a hair dryer but otherwise 5 stars .

Great cottage, very friendly owners, great sized place for 6 people

Storws is an extremely spacious and well designed property in a very attractive location on the edge of a 200 acre working farm.

Elen and John were very keen that we, a family of 5 with ages from 14 - 85, enjoyed our stay during Xmas week. The house is warm and provides great views from numerous picture windows and we found the separate 6 seats games area particularly useful. The females enjoyed the hot tub (the men were too sensible - it was Xmas after all!) Everything worked and and we had to ask for nothing - including the cake on our arrival. It was a pleasure to return to after a day out. There are many walkable beaches nearby and promenades and piers along with country paths. We had good meals at Pebbles, the Boathouse, the Tavern on the Bay and pizzas at the Panton Arms - all within a 10 minute drive. Usually with a review, we find something to complain about (justifiably of course!) but Elen & John make sure that we had no cause! Of course, we shall visit again.

We have just spent a wonderful week at Storws.

What a fabulous place! We were a family group, three couples, and it was wonderful to have three ensuite rooms. Everywhere was so spacious, and easy parking for three cars, as we had all arrived from different locations for our family gathering. Elin and John are very friendly hosts; welcome provisions a real treat, especially the fruitcake, devoured by everyone! We went up to their barn to watch calves being fed one afternoon; very special! The property is on a country road, a few miles to Beaumaris or Menai bridge in one direction, or the eastern bays of Red Wharf, Benllech (Pebbles Bistro HIGHLY recommended), and beautiful Moelfre, to the other. The hot tub was used daily; lovely memories of being with my sons, chatting amidst the warm bubbles! Very sad to come home. A holiday to remember!

Friendly and helpful hosts who are there for you if you need anything, but don’t impose. Cottage is immaculate- well equipped with everything you might need. Feels like a home rather than holiday accommodation, just so comfortable and welcoming. Location is perfect for exploring Anglesey, Snowdonia & Llyn Penisula. Thank you for a perfect holiday

Lovely property with high quality decor and furnishings.

Huge bedrooms, all with large ensuites. Great situation, with easy access in all directions. Hot tub, with lovely views, nice to see the cows and sheep all around us while relaxing. Owners next door are lovely and really helpful, great cake left for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend this property as a great place to stay.

We have stayed at stores now for three years and every time we go Ellen and John make us feel really welcome.

The cottages is really spacious for 5 of us who were there and my wife ,son and mum spent most nights in the hot tub which is in a great spot next to the cottage. Cottage was perfect.

Facilities were of a high standard and location was great for travelling around the area. Elen & John were easy to contact if we needed anything but otherwise left us to enjoy the property. Hot tub was a welcome bonus to enjoy after a day exploring Elena welcoming cake was very tasty & much appreciated. Loved having Celt visit for a belly rub in a morning. Cheered us up for the day. We were warmly greeted and shown around the property.

We weren't overwhelmed with dos and don'ts either verbally or written down, there were just one or two helpful pointers. Elen had left a lovely welcome pack of delicious cake and essentials. It is a spacious property, beautifully clean and with just the right amount of furnishings to make the property feel homely but without any concerns that there could be dust lurking! We felt at home staying in when it rained and there was a good range of books and games for us to enjoy. Elen suggested appropriate places we could visit with our grandson. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Storws and it was everything we wanted & more!

The location was perfect & central to all the places we wanted to visit. The weather wasn’t the best but staying in such a big & beautiful accommodation meant we could keep 2 toddlers happy even on the rainy days. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Where to start?

This property was amazing! Situated on a working farm and within short driving distances to all the beautiful beaches and attractions of Anglesey and Snowdonia National park. John and Elen made us feel welcome from the outset! Checking in with us daily and really showing an interest in what we had been doing and making additional recommendations. John even took us to see the baby lambs which our grandson loved, so did I :). These wonderful people work so hard and we were in awe of both of them. There was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived and the hot tub was a lovely way to end our day. This property is a credit to both of them and I would highly recommend a visit! Diolch yn fawr yawn

Had a fantastic time at the barn conversion, no expense has been spared by the owners in creating a fabulous property, it is very spacious & has everything you'd need for a countryside getaway, the surrounding areas are outstanding, countryside, mountains & close to the beaches as well, highly recommend this property, hosts are amazing & nothing was too much trouble for them.

Excellent property with plenty of space for the whole family and the added benefit of a hot tub.

Extra little touches were great such as eggs, butter and cake, plus it was decorated for Christmas and a cot, highchair and baby gate we're also provided for our stay. Kitchen well equipped too. The property is only 10 minutes from Beaumaris or Red Wharf Bay (or Pili Palas for the little one) and Panton Arms just down the road. Lots of public footpaths nearby for walking too.

Wow What a fantastic property.

The owners were very friendly and were on hand if anything was needed. The property was spacious, modern and had everything needed for a truly memorable holiday. The hot tub was so relaxing in the evening. On arriving the Christmas tree made it feel very welcoming and the cake and extras were also a pleasant surprise. We absolutely loved this property and will definitely be returning. A property the owners should definitely be proud of.

Excellent property.

Really clean and well maintained. I love that you hadn’t tried to cram as many rooms as possible into the property when you built it which gives the house a lovely sense of space and calm, exactly what you need from a holiday let!! Nice personal touches too like basic provisions and a home baked cake. Really thoughtful touches. Thank you. We will definitely be back to Storws.

Our second visit was every bit as good as our first.

Elen & John are absolutely excellent hosts. Storws is a beautiful and comfortable base for anyone wishing to enjoy all north Wales/Anglesey has to offer. Storws is the only holiday let we have used more than once and we will definitely return.

I would highly recommend Storws, the property was excellent and done to a very high standard.

! This cottage is beautiful, there is loads of space, the amenities are brilliant and it's impeccably clean. The cottage is located on a farm and our toddler loved the tractors, sheep and Clint the black labrador, who was really friendly. The hosts couldn't do enough for us and Gwen's cake was beautiful. She even left milk, eggs, butter, tea and coffee to get us started. The location was ideal to explore Anglesey and North Wales. We would highly recommend this cottage.

This a fantastic barn conversion, set in a lovely rural location.

Extremely quiet at night and the road nearby is never busy. It is located well to allow you to explore the local villages, towns, beaches and some great restaurants nearby. Byclan beach is lovely, great parking and a good cafe there also. Red Wharf Bay is a short drive. Some great restaurants here. The Host's are both lovely, helpful and accommodating. Some nice touches also.

Could do with a handrail outside down the steps, only because I presume that people are looking for homes like Storws because of the ground floor bedroom, which again I’m presumeing that they are traveling with elderly parents as we were, it would be a plus if the patio in the kitchen opened to let more air in, but please be assured that Elen and John are really nice people and if you wanted anything they would do it for you, excellent property

Stunning place to stay, loved every minute.

Accommodation was luxurious, hosts were lovely very friendly and could not have been more helpful.

Excellent spacious property recently built to a very high spec.

Helpful hosts living on site always interested to ensure everything was OK. Slight reservations when booking about it being semi-detached but we didn't hear our neighbours once. Just perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at the storws cottage.

It was a home from home, with a very comfortable nights sleep which was helped with the blackout blinds with the days getting longer. This was particularly helpful with having a baby to settle, in the early evening. The owners kindly made a cot available, which although we didn't need for our little one at this point was still appreciated. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery and farmland which was perfect for us, as we enjoyed waking up to all the lambs out at present. The cottage wasn't far from most amenaties and the owners kindly left recommendations of places to eat and visit. Overall we felt very welcomed by the owners and we'll definitely be back!

The property was in spotless condition and included everything we needed .

The owners were friendly and hospitable.The welcome pack included some delicious eggs and the best home cooked Bara Brith we have tasted to date. Although adjacent to a working farm it was peaceful and we were not disturbed. Lots of recently born lambs provided entertainment and cuteness in the fields opposite. Only minor niggle was the internet was slow and dropped out regularly.

Super property with lovely welcoming hosts.

Well positioned for access to Snowdonia, Caenarfon Castle and Anglesey’s wonderful beaches but far enough away so you have peace and quiet.

A beautiful cottage set in a lovely quiet location, the decor was perfect and my family & I felt at home immediately.

The hot tub was the highlight of our evening and even though the weather was cold and drizzly at times we made sure to use the tub every night. I would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely consider booking this place again. Thank you very much to our hosts who welcomed us warmly upon our arrival and a big thank you for the cake and the welcome pack. Only thing I felt was missing was a light in the yard where the tub was.

This was by far the best holiday property we have stayed in.

The kitchen is very modern and contemporary with everything needed. The bedrooms are all very spacious with great ensuite facilities. The owners are very friendly and thoughtful. The surrounding area is very peaceful and quiet but still close to the major centres for shopping needs. We rate this accommodation as 5*+ and are looking forward to returning next year.

Having somewhere to stay that was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed was great.

The house was fitted out beautifully and very tastefully done. It was a real pleasure to be able to stay here and probably the best place we have stayed in over the years. The owners were really friendly and very helpful too. We visited some lovely places both on Anglesey and around North Wales and the scenery was stunning. Would highly recommend and would love to go back.

The cottage was far more than we expected.

It is such a beautiful place we were going to book for September. Unfortunately it is fully booked all over the summer right through to November. I can see why, it's stunning. It is also a great base to go exploring Wales which I forgot how beautiful it is. We will definitely go back. The cottage was even better than expected, large, very well kept and clean and had everything you could require.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful without being intrusive and went out of their way to make some excellent recommendations. The cottage is very well placed for some beautiful walks and beaches. Loved the holiday!

Both Elen and John were really friendly and always took time to talk! Anglesey is a wonderful place! Absolutely loved the Hot Tub too! Kids had a great time and even got to go on the trailer!

WOW, Storws is an absolutely stunning property , its spotlessly clean , it is also huge, it has fabulous countryside views and the hot tub is fantastic.

It is toasty warm inside too. The beds are comfy and the showers are fantastic. They owners are such a lovely couple and they have thought of everything in this converted barn, we were totally blown away with it all . Lots of easy parking just outside the property too and Elan's homemade cake is just sublime. We will be back for sure. Thank you for a fabulous week there. S&J xx

The cottage was well equipped and the hot tub was a bonus which made out stay a bit more special.

The property is very spacious with all the bedrooms en-suite and there are two seating areas which is good for a group when you need a bit of time away from everyone. Nice big modern kitchen with more kit than we have at home! The location was well placed for travel to the rest of the island and back across to the mainland (we went to Conwy castle) and also close to some nice coast - we went to Benllech beach several times. Broadband is usable but only good for checking out travel plans, don't expect to use it with Netflix etc. if the weather is poor. Friendly owners next door if needed but private. Overall one of the best houses we have stayed at and we have no hesitation in recommending.

The cottage is incredible.

it's large and well finished inside and out . The welcome pack was great especially Ellans Bara Brith cake! We could not believe how quite the area was i would sit outside at night and look at the stars , it's so dark with no light pollution! We liked the Panton Arms pub 1 mile down the rd We had a great Sunday Roast and they do great wood fire pizza

We had a wonderful family holiday at Storws which is a beautiful and modern barn conversion on a working farm.

The accommodation is exceptional and the owner’s were very helpful and friendly. Their recommendations on food from local establishments was spot on, we had some great meals and take away. We loved it, and are already looking to see when we could return. The only slight disappointment was that the WiFi was slow to the point of non existent which meant it was impossible to watch any tv other than normal channels. It’s very difficult and expensive to get good WiFi to rural locations/buildings so this is understandable and in any case it doesn’t detract from what is a brilliant holiday home that I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending to others.

What a wonderful place to stay!

The photos don’t do it justice! So spacious, so clean, so comfortable and in such a beautiful setting. We have been coming to Anglesey for over 10 yrs and this is by far the BEST place we have ever stayed. We have already re-booked! Plus the hosts were so welcoming and so kind. Such a treat to arrive to Elan’s delicious Bara Brith cake too. This is a gem of a find and we had the most wonderful and happy week there. Thank you x

The accommodation is every bit as lovely as the pictures suggest, the hosts are really welcoming and the location is a great base from which to explore the Island. We are already looking forward to next year!

Hi, we’d had a bad experience at a farmhouse in the lakes at Christmas but thankfully Sykes stepped up to the mark and reimbursed what we paid so we decided to try a place in Wales, Storws cottage, Wow!

What a beautiful place, I can only say what everyone else has commented. We would definitely visit again unfortunately it is full for most of the year now.

A wonderful home with the most beautiful social space - the kitchen.

I visited with some family for a well deserved break and we loved everything about it. The beds were comfy and everything including the bathrooms were immaculate! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and let us have privacy while being there if we needed them. The fire and the hot tub were fantastic, however we took our own gazebo as the hot tub had no cover and we wanted to use it in January. My only suggestion I have would be to have more crockery, cooking equipment and cutlery but having only just opened late last year there was enough to get by

John and elan were such wonderful hosts Storws has everything we wanted and much more. Finished to a very high standard, so comfy and clean. Location was stunning! We have already booked our return!

Everything, lovely new accommodation with everything and very friendly owners

The cottage is lovely and in a beautiful setting.

The owner admitted there's still a few finishing touches to do, like putting up hooks for coats and towels etc, as they didn't get everything done before opening for guests in August, but it was minor. Their attention to detail is pretty spot on.

Plenty of room. Well decorated and very clean, has everything you could need for self catering. Highly recommend this accommodation. Excellent location too.

Really good location and easy to find. Brand new accommodation and very moderns. A few cleanliness issues with bedding and a few flies but nothing major. Would return but only recommendation is to get a gazebo or some sort of shelter over the hot tub.

Exceptional accommodation with great facilities and amenities and lots of love and dedication has gone into this lovely cottage which we stayed at from 12th until 16th of August 2019.

The owners are lovely and welcoming. The location serves as an excellent base for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. Lots of space too. We are already planning for staying a little longer next year. Quiet, private and relaxing environment. We stayed at Storws with our 14 year old Daughter and her school friend and they both loved it - especially the awesome Hot Tub. WiFi is broadband and okay although it won’t support streaming like a fibre based server would but this is the countryside not a city.
