Valley Pines

I do love this accommodation, especially the hot tub and log fire.

It has a lovely large garden which our dogs absolutely loved. The garden could do with more maintenance though, the grass was long and growing grass seeds so we had to be careful with our dogs, also one of them got scratched with a bramble. Apart from that a lovely accommodation and we had a nice holiday there.

A beautiful welcome pack was a lovely gesture by the home owners.

The property was emaculat and everything you could posibly need was there. And the jacuzzi was a very nice touch and was a very nice place to relax at the end of the day. And the spacious patio area was well equipped with furniture and cushions also a nice gas powered bbq. Overall a very pleasing property.

We came in july couple in 70s 2 adukts 50s,2 dogs We loved it Maintence man came straight away to trim branch Hot tib amazing forest 15 min walk with secret beach anazing we coming again next year Bbq cooked food perfect

Hidden gem.

It’s a fabulous property, extremely well equipped and we were left a welcome pack which was very thoughtful. Had an issue with the single bed that my elderly mother was using. Raised it with caretaker and it was sorted within a few hours so definitely couldn’t fault the service. My daughter and her friend loved the hot tub and spent many a happy hour in there together with hammock. It was close to beach which our dogs loved. Would definitely recommend as pictures don’t do it justice.

Fantastic location for exploring Anglesey.

Lots of information and maps/guide books provided very helpful. Hamper excellent with unexpected treats also included. Rodney (our westie) appreciated the dog toys provided especially the balls. Very comfortable cottage. Hot tub much appreciated post walks. Weather fantastic thankfully cooller than where we came from in heatwave! Have been to Wales may times but first time did not need any waterproof coats or jumpers!! Only suggestion to have a bath mat to put on floor after having shower.

Well equipped cottage we have been twice now.

Lovely welcome hamper both times on arrival. Close to all local beaches and amenities. Lovely hot tub and private garden, neighbours are really quiet. Only feedback for improvement - too dark in living room when eating at night only one main light which is too dim, needs a floor lamp or additional lighting in the ceiling if it’s to be used as a multi functional room (living and ding) also the mattress in the second bedroom was too soft for me had a bad back but it’s personal preference. We will be back - thank you :) 9/10

Had a week here in January.

Can't fault it. Owners have thought of everything, nothing lacking in the bungalow. Lovely welcome basket for us and for dogs. Lovely touch. Loads of information on hand and have a really good app. Hot tub was already warm for our arrival. Great communication with owners. Close to costal path and good access to local beaches and Holyhead. Take away delivery from Valley too. Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of five, such a comfortable place, log burner and hot tub perfect for winter.

Location is fab near shops and pubs and we did some beautiful walks. Hamper on arrival was a real treat. Communication from the host was great always replying promptly to any questions we had. Dog friendly and our little spaniel had the best time. We made some really happy memories over the holiday period and we will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.

A lovely stay, really convenient to the local shops, pubs, beach and Penrhos.

The bungalow has everything you need, really comfortable beds, very clean and well maintained. We had lots of fun in the hot tub and enjoyed long walks with the dogs. We would definitely return.

Overall loved the cottage, beautiful and very comfortable, the hot tub and added luxury bonus.

Only 2 minor issues and they are minor, 1 the front door was difficult to lock, and 2 the grass front and back could have done with cutting. Apart from that we had a lovely stay and highly recommend the place. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic location with easy access to all the beauty spots and local amenities.

We had a lovely week at The Pines, a real home from home.

The hot tub and hammock in the huge garden a real highlight. Only negative the internal doors require adjustments to allow them to open and close properly and quietly.

Love Valley Pines.

Just two things, furniture in front room badly needs redoing or replacing. Taken abit of a hammering, raisers making it a tad higher, as having circulation and spinal issues a bit too low. Making getting up an effort, and I mentioned last year, grab rails especially by the side door and in the bathroom. Oh and non slip matts for the shower.

Clean and comfortable. Lovely garden and hot tub with outdoor furniture. Well equipped kitchen. Very homely and close to a variety of shops. Ideal base for exploring all Anglesey has to offer.

Lovely house with a fantastic garden ideal for dogs .

In a good location . We used local shops and takeaways . Had meals out at White Eagle very dog friendly and Oceans edge .Valley Pines has a good supply of games and books for you to enjoy . Lots of information provided to help with your stay and a welcome hamper . Thank you for a lovely holiday .

Well equipped cottage plenty of room.

Very clean and comfortable. Loved the hot tub. Very centrally located ideal for touring or shopping. Nice walk to the beach or into town . Very friendly neighbourhood. Would like to visit again. Thoroughly recommend. Beware of steps into property wife is partially disabled otherwise no problems

Second time at Valley Pines and would recommend to anyone, cleanliness was good but the main carpet was looking tired, it needs ant powder on the patio as they were out in force (especially on flying ant day) but it is a lovely bungalow and will be back I only dealt with Sykes via online but it was quick and easy

The holiday was fantastic the place is lovely absolutely great for families.

It’s an amazing place to stay with kids or even if you’re just a couple looking for a break. They leave added little extras you might forget too like towels, laundry detergent in the utility room, milk bread cake and don’t forget toilet roll bonus when your tired from travelling with kiddies and just want unpack order a takeaway then jump in that fab hot tub that first night. The only thing I could possibly say could be improved is the Gardner pulling the weeds between the slabs and the step by the side door is a little wobbly my daughter has problems with stability so we did have a couple of falls but we didn’t let that take away from what a fantastic holiday we all had. Definitely want to visit again

This is a lovely holiday home.

The owner has finished the property to a very high standard and the Beds are extremely comfortable ( not always the case)! A fabulous Welcome Pack which included our special request for a certain type of bread ( much appreciated). With so many extras incl tea, coffee, sugar cleaning products and a well stock Laundry room in garage with a Tumble Dryer. The owner and his family were SO welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They are the 5 star addition to this property and we will be returning to this Little Gem.

Lovely cottage feeling property with everything needed to enjoy a family holiday.

Clean and immaculately presented with more facilities than expected and some small additional touches which were lovely. Ideally located to explore Anglesey however everywhere is a drive, this isn’t a bad thing just a point. Hot tub was well maintained and again immaculate. Beds really comfy and good quality pillows and bedding Hosts made contact by text which was nice and makes it feel personal. Would definitely love to stay again!

Great location. House is clean, comfortable and extremely well stocked with everything you need for a home from home vacation. Hot tub was perfect and is covered by a new pergola so can be used in all weather. Lovely host that had left us a nice welcome pack with essentials on arrival. What's not to like! Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the house had everything you need and was really cosy, was ideally located for exploring the beautiful island of Anglesey, we absolutely adore the place and come every year.

If you're looking for a nice cosy cottage with comfy beds, a nice hot tub to rest after exploring all Anglesey has to offer then look no further, highly recommended.

grin before we travelled, tge owner contacted us to make sure we were celebrating Christmas. A small gesture goes a long way. The welcome hamper & contact all though out was fabulous. A fantastic stay at Valley Pines.

Communication before and during was excellent. Everything you could want in a holiday home. Kitchen completely kitted out with everything you need. Beds very comfortable. Shower nice and hot. Lovely welcome touches, welcome basket, milk in fridge even a pumpkin, carving kit and packets of sweets to give out to trick and treaters as we were there over Halloween. A perfect base.. We explored the whole island whilst we were there and benefitted from some blue skies and sunny dry days. Unexpected in November but definitely added to our enjoyment of the week. There are some amazing beaches nearby and some lovely hidden bays to the north. The Hidden Wales book on the shelf came in very useful. We didn't make full use of the garden, which is very big and also has everything you need, as it was dark by 6pm. We loved Anglesey! Thank you, we will be back.

Very comfortable accommodation, well equipped and hot tub was great.

We have booked several cottages with Sykes.

This cottage was one of the best It was comfortable/well equipped/3 good bedrooms/ideal secure garden for our dog/TV with Netflix etc/large fridge freezer/dish washer/washing machine/tumble dryer in the garage/garden furniture/hammock/Hot Tub/Gas BBQ etc. Lovely treats/flowers/dog treats/Shops/supermarkets/pub,/chippy/dog walks all on the doorstep. Penrhos Bay is a beautiful walk just 5 mins away. Great position to tour around the island. We can highly recommend this cottage.

Great home, the garden was fantastic.

Brilliant location. We loved the garden so much it really made our stay especially with the weather we had, the hot tub is amazing! Only 5 min walk to shops and restaurants chippy etc. Only downside was the cleaning. At first glance it looked clean however after living there it’s clear it needs a deep clean, the shower had black mould, the fireplace was filthy, just generally needed a deep clean, under the sofas and furniture not been cleaned for a long time. The dog found a ball covered in dust and fluff under the lounge furniture We did bleach the mould off and wiped the fireplace the cloth was black, not the owners fault but I would recommended getting a better housekeeper. Also check out says 11am in book but the hot tub man told us it’s 10am so book needs updating! We would stay again though easy fixes for the cleaning!

Lovelly bungalow in a good area for exploring Anglesey.

Bungalow was clean and tidy. Only negatives were tv was hard to operate( now tv, not familiar with it), floor in kitchen was very uneven, tripped a few times. A hair dryer would have been really useful ( had to go and buy a cheap one). Could not use hammock as covered in bird poo Overall a nice property and enjoyed our stay.

The bungalow was lovely and comfortable, the different areas in the garden is a great idea,however, the canopy over the hot tub needs maintenance as the strong wind played havoc with it and the poles kept flying out, apart from that it was a wonderful place and one which we will return.

Great stay at Valley Pines - lovely comfortable, cosy, well-appointed and clean accommodation.

Ideally situated on a quiet residential street and a great base for exploring Anglesey. Good parking area on drive so we didn’t have to worry about our car. Lovely dog-friendly beach almost on your doorstep. Great facilities, very relaxing garden, loved the hammock, bbq and the hot tub is fantastic! We were very lucky with the weather and it was great to have such a lovely outdoor space to utilise during our stay - our dogs had a great time and loved the garden. Lovely welcome pack with great local produce - loved the coffee and Welsh cakes! The owners really have thought of everything for their guests. Very comfortable beds, slept really well during our stay. Will highly recommend to our family and friends and we would love to return in the future. Thank you

We had a lovely stay.

The bungalow was clean, had all we needed and the extra touches like dog toys and treats were great. The property info online that we accessed by the QR code was really good and useful. We would definitely stay here again.

What a delightful bungalow.

The owners had really thought about all the little extras to make your stay a home from home. The welcome hamper was a welcome treat when we arrived Friday night keeping us going till we did a food shop the next day. Beach (pebbly) was a short walk away and there was a perfect wooded area for dog walking. The surrounding beaches were lovely. Spent more than usual chilling out in back garden, utilizing the hot tub, hammock and seated area. Gas BQ was excellent though took some cleaning afterwards. NOW TV and WIFI was excellent. South Stack lighthouse very nearby, visited Velocity 2, Snowden Mountain both about 50 min drive away. I did have to pick someone else's dog poo up on the back lawn but that was only a minor thing. Perfect holiday would come back again.
