I thought the property was nice.

Nice size bedrooms. But this property makes a awful holiday destination as the property above is so noisy banging about till early hours of morning then waking us up banging about and screaming kids at 6 o clock every morning. You can hear everything from the property above so NO time to relax or sleep. Then theres no garden to relax in.. this is just a awful holiday property. The parking is awful also as always fighting for a parking space. Also NO towels for showering. Overall i would NOT recommend this property at ALL. I would rate this a 2/10. I use Sykes cottages all the time for holidays and work and this is the worst property ive stayed in. Just AWFUL

Perfect for our group.

Lovely evening walks on local beach and easy reach of loads of Lovely beaches. Plus found an out door washing machine at Pwllheli Harbour beach so had fun while washing was doing and app texts when it's done. Plus nice cafe/bar there too. We was able to rig up a line at yhe back to dry our swimmers etc.

We have returned from a great week in this property.

The accommodation was exactly as described. It was very clean, and spacious. The kitchen was very adequate with tea, coffee and cleaning products provided. It boasts 4 bedrooms one having an ensuite. The property was quite near to 2 pubs serving good food and drinks. The beach at Llanbedrog was not far away with a payable car park, and the Aqua Bar is there too. Unfortunately, the hot water taps in the kitchen and bathrooms had poor pressure although the shower was perfect. The entrance to the property is in need of updating. It needs a light and the walls need repainting. The family who live above the accommodation are very noisy. Especially in the morning around 6am, and in the evening. However, the negatives didn't spoil our week and we will probably book again.

Lovely clean spacious property which was near to lts of fun locations couldn't be happier.

We had a fantastic stay at 5 Ger y nant which is a clean comfortable property with 4 good sized bedrooms and an open-plan layout which makes it a very sociable space.

It had everything we needed for a comfortable break. The location is perfect — within easy reach of the beach and a great pub, plus an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula. Having parking was a real bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

There is a bit of a musty smell, which could be resolved with regular ventilation, otherwise clean and the location was the highlight and the Llanbedrog beach i s 10 minute walk and worth it, it is stunning, the Aqua Pub on the corner is such a beautiful place, they really do make you feel welcome and what a view . We would stay again, not sure if i will do the SheUltra again though, i will my body recover first.

On arriving the front of the property was dirty & uninviting.

The windows & front door were filthy, cigarette butts on floor & hadn't been swept or cleaned. The knobs on cooker were greasy, the shower curtain was mouldy at the bottom & side near the wall. Toilet seat was broken. We couldn't get hot water in the en-suite bathroom. Front patio door couldn't be opened at all. Window frames throughout were disgusting. I bleached the cups as some still were tea stained. The bed was comfortable & clean thankfully. With a lot of deep cleaning throughout and attention to the front it could be a lovely place to stay.

We were very disappointed when we arrived at the property as the outside area by the front door is scruffy and dirty and needs painting.

When inside we noticed a couple of windows need replacing as the seals on the double glazing have blown and the toilet seat was broken and loose so very unsafe. Many items in the flat were tired and need replacing. (The dining chairs are old and dirty and the foam from the seats is falling on the floor. The curtains in the front bedroom also need attention). There is a family that live upstairs who start their day at 6 am. We could hear everything from their day to day living (walking around, washing machine, loud music while getting ready for school in the morning etc). We had our dog with us and although there is grass at the back of the property there is no back door so it is very awkward especially first thing in the morning. On a more positive note this property is very large and has a well equipped kitchen. It is close to the pub, shop and you can walk to the beach. Overall the location is great but the property needs TLC.

I think the property is great and extremely spacious , everything you need for your stay.

There are a few issues, as have been mentioned before, but they charge accordingly for this. I doubt you'd find a cheaper 4 bed holiday let in Abersoch/Llanbedrog Its great value for money

We have had a lovely stay at 5 Ger Y Nant.

The property is well equipped and very homely. We liked the open plan living, dining and kitchen area and found it a good size for getting together with family and friends. We were surprised to find tea coffee etc together with all cleaning products as where we have stayed before you usually have to provide your own. The 4 bedrooms are a great size (it is advertised for 7 people but you could easily sleep 8) and it has 2 lovely bathrooms again with hand wash and shower gel provided. We took 3 cars with us and there was plenty of parking space. We also loved the front garden area which gets the sun all day. The owners have thought of everything you may need from corkscrew to BBQ. The property is an easy walk to Llanbedrog beach where you will find a beach bar and toilets. There is also a lovely art gallery which has a fabulous cafe. The Ship Inn is a 3 minute walk from the property and has a great beer garden. There is also a handy Spar at the bottom of the road. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back as it is ideally situated to explore the beautiful Lyn Peninsula

Was hoping there was a washing machine, 6 of us with all our laundry which we had to take home dirty wasn't great Constant noise from above early hours in the morning from other holidayers Lots of space for us all

A well equipped,spacious property.

Unfortunately it had a strong smell of damp and the drawers in the ensuite bedroom were unusable because of it.Despite that we had a really nice holiday in this flat.

A spacious,well equiped property in a lovely position near a gorgeous beach and interesting walks.

....and only a 5 minute walk from the wonderful Ship pub. There is a pleasant front garden (no accessible back garden) but do note if you have children it is not enclosed. Very pleasant decor, furnishings, bed linen etc.It was nice to have DVDs and games to play. TV reception was poor though. It's a shame that there is a damp problem, despite staying during a warm, dry week, there was a constant, unpleasant musty smell in all three back bedrooms. There are 2 spacious bathrooms for a maximum of 7 guests but only one shower....a second shower is desperately needed as we were all queueing up every morning. The kitchen was well equiped but I would suggest that a washing machine would be preferable to a full size freezer in a holiday home.

Internally the apartment was newly decorated and spotless: it has all the facilities needed for a large family or group of friends- large bedrooms , comfortable beds, two bathrooms and a open plan sitting / dining room and kitchen.

However, the front entrance could do with a tidy up to make it a pleasant area to sit in and access to the back garden would be of been appreciated. On a positive note the apartment is within walking distance to two pubs (The Swan serves lovely food) ,a supermarket, a lovely beach, a beautiful walk up to the Iron Man ( the views are stunning) plus a circular dog walk starting opposite the post box. . Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We travelled 5 hours to this property and were really looking forward to our 3 night stay with my son and his partner.

First impressions really count however the entrance to the property was so disappointing; filthy and lots of cobwebs with ingrained dirt on the door and the sills/frame. On entering the property sadly we were presented with a musty damp smell. The portable heaters in each room was evidence that the property suffered with damp. The en suite did not have any hot water and the kitchen had a very slow flow of hot water. The hallway window had mould in it as did the en-suite window. (A shower over the bath in the en-suite would be beneficial). The kitchen is dated but adequate. Having two dogs we wanted to hoover up but the hoover did not work despite us emptying the full bag inside. The TV had no terrestrial channels but thankfully Netflix was available. We used the property as a base as we made sure we went out daily. Sadly I would not return to this property neither can I recommend it.

This is a great place for a group of up to 8 people.

Location is fabulous, with the beach approx 10 minutes away. There is a well stocked co-op and Spar near by and bigger town 10 minutes drive away. A great base for walkers and for a beach holiday. The garden was not enclosed, which we knew from advert, so care needed with the dogs. We felt that the kitchen equipment and the bed linen, while more than adequate were not 5* hence the 4* grading. That said they will last a good while yet. So not a problem.
