Very well equipped property with lots of helpful small items which we found very useful, kitchen roll, cling film, tea bags, coffee, sugar, salt, etc.

Lovely welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, cake, crackers and biscuits, etc.

We loved the house.

Perfect location. Facilities were great. Owner was caring , easy to contact. She left us a welcome hamper which was a lovely suprise. Parking is good. There were great views from the windows too. We wouldn`t hesitate to stay here again !

The cottage was beautiful and well located for exploring North Wales.

Mary was a fantastic host checking in with us before and during our stay. A lovely welcome basket on arrival with milk in the fridge when a cup of tea was most needed after a long journey. Highly recommend as a place to stay.

Lovely communication with the owner who was easy to reach if needed. Location excellent with plenty of shops and restaurants. Only a short walk to Snowdon if you are planning a climb. Great stay overall.

We had a fantastic Christmas week in Hirfron.

Weather was superb, the house was so comfy and clean, and our host Mary went above and beyond to make sure our week was perfect, would definitely recommend this property to family and Friends and we will definitely be coming back to Hirfron in the near future.

Hirfron is clean, comfortable and in an ideal location to explore North Wales.

There was a lovely welcome pack left for us on arrival and Mary checked in on us and asked if everything was OK, and if we needed anything , to just let her know as she was only a couple of minutes away. Clear instructions and information for the house and the surrounding area was covered. Even though we did not have the best of weather, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hirfron and, if revisiting North Wales, would definitely stay again. Thank you Mary, for letting us stay in this super house.

Lovely homely property in an excellent location.

The host Mary was so warm and welcoming. She very kindly checked in with us to make sure everything was OK and was so thoughtful to leave us bread,milk etc upon arrival. The house was well clean and cosy. There is everything you could possibly need for a week away, clearly a lot of thought has gone into the little touches. We plan to stay again.

Lovely cottage, really well equipped in the kitchen, including scales, so that we were able to cook good range of meals.

Beds were comfortable with and cottage was lovely and cosy. Excellent hospitality basket with lots of biscuits, welsh cakes and a bara brith. Having butter & jam as well as milk was very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed a week staying at Hirfron. Mary supplied us with a fantastic welcome basket and the house is fully stocked with cleaning products and essential cooking condiments, which was most appreciated. The house is perfectly placed in Llanberis which itself is also perfectly placed in Snowdonia.

A lovely cottage, bang in the middle of the village high street so handy for shops, pubs and restaurants and local attractions.

What an amazing host and place to stay.

The property has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. On arrival there was a large welcome basket, which was a lovely treat. Being able to have a cuppa and slice of excellent Barra Brith on arrival was a fabulous start to our week. The cottage is very central, being able to go up Snowdon and other lovely walks without taking the car. We will definitely be back, thank you Mary

I was sure it was going to be a good place to stay when the owner rang me the day before to let me know what was in Hirfron and about the welcome gift.

I was also messaged during my stay to see if everything was OK. The property was clean, the welcome gift huge, everything I could need was there and the central location a real bonus. I will be booking again.

Instructions are provided for everything and there is plenty of information on local amenities and attractions. The owner is lovely and everything you need from soap in the bathroom to tin foil, kitchen roll, tea, coffee in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again next time with visit North Wales.

The house is beautiful, spacious and has everything you would possibly need for a week-long stay.

It is well located within Llanberis, right in the heart of the village with easy access to the lake, shops and fells. The host, Mary was amazingly helpful and made sure we were all settled in OK even leaving a welcome box of food items. I can't recommend Hirfon highly enough, it is perfect, 10/10

Property was in a great spot in the centre of Llanberis - everything was accessible on foot (shops, restuarant, Llyn Padarn, Mountain Railway etc) so it was nice to park the car and leave it there!

Would have been useful to have the house name on the rear of the property as confirmation that we were parking in the right spot. Easy to access the property from rear parking space. Keysafe system and access was all straightforward and as per instructions. House had plenty of space for 5 of us (2 adults, three children). Note that the single room has a narrower bed (ie not a standard single.) Goodies left to welcome us were appreciated (kids were very happy!) - thanks for those. Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, peppper are all provided. There was butter and milk in fridge and bread provided too. Bedrooms - beds were comfortable, note that there are many feather pillows and this unfortunately aggravated my allergies, leaving me wheezing for our stay. The double bed has a King size duvet which meant it was very heavy due to hanging so far down the sides. Cleaning was mainly good. Heating was good, would be needed less if some of the draughty holes were filled in though! Big cold gusts coming in down the side of the cooker and through cupboards in middle living room - lots of dust blown through too so games and books were all covered in it - these need cleaning up. Lovely friendly owner popped in to check we were ok. Overall, a lovely place to say, and very well placed if you're running Snowdonia Marathon!

Lovely welcome pack of goodies. Was nice to meet Mary the owner on our arrival. Some nice places to eat in Llanberis although if you want coffee and cake, have it before 4 as everywhere shuts. A perfect location for exploring Snowdon and the surrounding area.

Lovely holiday cottage. Ideally situated in the village. Kept to a high standard. The owners go over and above to provide everything you would need for a lovely relaxing holiday and are really friendly. Can't fault it! We'll definitely be going back.

An absolutely wonderful cottage in a perfect spot to explore the area, Mary has thought of everything from the basket full of goodies, toilet rolls and towels to the milk and butter in the fridge oh and the homemade jam was delicious.

A few friends and myself used it as a base for walking. I would really recommend this cottage. There are all the utilities you will want if you are cooking, and is very cosy. It central for shops and the lake. The owner is lovely and very welcoming. Thank you we had a lovely weekend.

A lovely, well maintained, very clean cottage in the ideal location for nearby walks and attractions around Snowdon.

Set in a location which is near to all that Llanberris has to offer; views of the hills and close to all the amenities.

Property was clean, tastefully decorated and provided everything we needed. This included a convenient parking space at the rear. We had a great holiday. Fully recommended.

The holiday home was absolutely perfect!

It was so clean and so well equipped! It felt really homely and our 3 children loved it! The owner was so helpful and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise! The location was perfect! We made some lovely memories and one of our biggest highlights was climbing Mount Snowdon as a family! Would love to return in the future!

The location is terrific for walking in the National Park and Llanberis is relatively unspoiled compared to other more 'touristy' places. The welcome pack was really lovely and we both put on weight eating the delicious Bara Brith! The owners were really attentive in a helpful way ensuring we were warm enough etc. Will definitely return to this one, very good value indeed.

Hirfron is a lovely place to stay if you want to explore Snowdonia.

The cottage is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and surprisingly large inside. Mary gave us a very warm welcome and I doubt if you will find a more generous welcome pack anywhere in Wales. This is the second time we have stayed at Hirfron and would definitely recommend it.

The cottage is ideally situated for the complete Llanberis experience, particularly the beautiful lake and its historic attractions, water sports or climbing Snowdon.

It is exceptionally clean and well maintained throughout with a modern kitchen and bathroom as well as a convenient parking space and storage for cycles etc. Several cafes, pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance as is the local supermarket.

A well equipped and well organised cottage perfectly situated in the center of town and with the added bonus of off street parking.

The cottage is comfortable and cosy and Mary and Ian are the perfect hosts. Lovely Mary rang us a couple of days before and then met us on arrival to show us how things worked. The welcome pack went above and beyond and included bread, milk, butter, jam, home made welsh cakes amongst other things! We had a really fab time.

A gem of a cottage in the heart of Llanberis.

It was modern, clean and excellently equipped, you couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. Our Cottage contacts met us when we arrived after a terrible journey and showed us around. They were fantastic and the welcome goodies box was amazing and over and above what we would have expected and really appreciated.
