Snowdon View
Description
A well-appointed, character terraced cottage in the centre of the popular village of Llanberis, on the edge of Snowdonia, with nearby walking access to Snowdon and the pretty lake of Llyn Padarn.
Located on a residential side street, this charming cosy cottage is ideally situated for all the amenities of the village and will delight couples, friends and families wishing to explore the area.
Homely and tastefully finished, it offers welcoming open plan living accommodation across the ground floor with a delightful sitting area with stone inglenook fireplace housing a traditional woodburner.
The lovely oak flooring extends through to a bespoke kitchen area, which is well equipped, and a dining area, ideal for a leisurely breakfast before setting off for a day of walking and exploring.
There are three cosy bedrooms, one on the second floor enjoying a glimpse of Snowdon from the skylights, along with a modern first floor family bathroom.
Outside is an enclosed slate patio area to the rear, which enjoys a sunny aspect in the afternoon, ideal for a relaxed glass of wine before heading out for a meal in one of the many eating establishments a short walk away.
With plenty of pretty walks leading from the doorstep, each embracing the fantastic surrounding scenery, there are lots of lovely things to see on foot.
If you’re feeling a little less energetic then let the train take the strain and take the Snowdon Mountain Railway to the summit of this popular peak, with the platform a five minute walk away.
There is so much to see and do within very easy reach, with the Llanberis Lake Railway, National Slate Museum and Electric Mountain area all within easy reach.
A little further afield you can enjoy Zipworld Titan and Caverns, the longest 4-man zip wire in Europe, Bounce Below underground trampoline, along with the magnificent slate caverns at Llechwedd - all located at Blaenau Ffestiniog, which is a stunning drive away.
The North Wales Coast, dotted with ancient castles, is also easily accessible from this delightful cottage, which is a great base for exploring both coast and country at any time of the year.

What guests are saying
Disappointed with Skye’s standards.
Property is great location but it is in need of some TLC. Oven does not work at all. Bed slats have been broken and not properly repaired, towels smelt musty, whole property smells musty, possible due to old dirty rug, outside area not nice to sit out in, paint coming off walls, weeds everywhere, furniture rusty, there was a bin bag of rubbish in the garden, rubbish bins full, black mould around bath. Contacted Skye’s whilst away and no response. Owner did reply but couldn’t fix oven.
This property is in a fantastic location and good for a short stay.
We were a party of 4 and the social space was smaller than we had imagined on booking; the house is great to sleep 6 but considering the size of the downstairs room, in my opinion, 4 is a max. We were unable to work the oven, the plugs in the bathroom (sink and bath) need replacing, and the house needs some attention generally (including the outside space). The instructions left in and around the property need to be updated, it wasn't easy to find what we required and some information is contradictory/outdated. No green bin around, only one tea towel, larger pans would be helpful.
Brilliant location for our Snowdon hike.
Great cottage close to local pubs and restaurants.
