“Beautiful bungalow, exactly as described in the details.”
The garden is a wonderful private sun trap, we spent a lot of time sitting out there as we had absolutely perfect weather. There are lots of wild rabbits in the field behind and we enjoyed watching them. The bungalow is a perfect base from which to explore north wales and Anglesey. We went out every day - Beaumaris and llanfairPG are close and Plas newydd is just two miles away, bodnant gardens, Llandudno and Conway are within easy reach. We went on a steam train from Caernarfon to bedgellert and drove to south stacks lighthouse at the end of Anglesey another day. It was nice to come back to such a wonderful comfortable base each afternoon. Very comfortable beds, lovely showers.
A minor niggle was that this was the first place I have ever stayed where we had to bring our own towels, but a bath mat and tea towels in the kitchen were provided, so obviously not for hygiene reasons. The settees would benefit from cushions, but a note in the information pack cited covid and the need for stricter cleaning between stays as a reason that some homely stuff wasn’t provided, but we felt this was a cop out as there were cushions in the bedrooms and conservatory (which we used on the settee during our stay). Also the instructions for connecting to the WiFi need to be amended - we needed to get information from the hub at the back of the TV - as I said ‘minor niggles’ we had a great stay it is truly a home from home.
