Lovely little property.

Very clean and well set up.

This cottage was a great base for our stay in Anglesea.

It was in a quiet place but with great and easy access to so much. The cottage was small and cosy and just what we expected. Off street parking and owners next door who were friendly and helpful.

Everything just spot on thank you.

We visited Ty Taid for the second time and had a very happy stay.

I have reduced my score for Facilities and Maintenance simply because the bathroom is very small and not too easy for anyone with mobility issues. It would not be possible to enlarge the bathroom but Catie and Stuart have made the most of the space. All in all it is lovely holiday cottage which we would recommend.

Great stay.

Excellent accommodation. Had everything we needed and the EV charger was a great bonus. Saved having to look for places to charge while out and about. Everything was spotless and the cottage was spacious and comfortable. Would highly recommend

The cottage is really lovely and very well appointed.

Very comfy settee & conservatory furniture. My only problem was the bed, which I found extremely hard. Saying that my husband didn't find it too bad. The electric car charger is brilliant and much appreciated. Catie and the children are lovely (didn't meet Stuart). All in all a lovely place to stay, close to Beaumaris and to the A5 for exploring the island.

We had a pleasant stay in Ty Taid despite the dreadful weather we experienced.

We really appreciated the welcome pack left for us. There are a few maintenance issues in the kitchen. If the lower cupboard had a shelf all pans etc could be placed together leaving the upper wall cupboard free for food storage which is currently in short supply. One of the cupboard doors has cracked laminate. The bathroom is small but adequate. The rest of the accommodation is spacious with comfy seating and was spotlessly clean. The conservatory is a real bonus. But for the kitchen we would have happily given the accommodation 5 stars - presently it’s a 4.5. Despite the rain and wind we enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year in early summer when we hope the weather will be kinder to us.

A well appointed, spacious accommodation all on one level in a peaceful setting.

Ideally located for visiting all parts of Anglesey and North Wales. Owners live text door and are very welcoming and helpful with any queries or snags and knowledgeable on local beaches,etc.

The property was well-equipped and comfortable (a really good mattress makes such a difference to a stay).

The place has maximised use of light which meant lots of opportunities to sit and read. I appreciated the unobtrusive approach of the owners whilst being available if needed. I also really appreciated the lovely jam left! The whole place was clean and fresh, which made it a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This cottage is most comfortable and very well maintained, the owner was most welcoming upon our arrival and offered car washing facility when lime covered our car.

The location offers a high degree of privacy and is very sheltered. Would return to this cottage on our next wales holiday.

Very comfortable cottage, quiet and peaceful.

Welcome pack of apple juice, and welshcakes and a little jug of milk in tne fridge for your first cuppa. The turn into the entrance is slightly hidden in the stone wall, especially approaching from the Plas Newydd direction, we recommend following the owner’s directions until you’re familiar with the location. The entrance looks narrow but the owner has a minibus and gets in and out ok. Ample clothes storage in the bedroom - as someone has said there is no window to the bedroom but there is plenty of light through the double doors to the adjoining conservatory so perfectly fine! We found the cottage had everything we needed, lovely hot shower etc. Great location for exploring the area, nowhere was too far away either on the island or the mainland and we had a lovely relaxing week. Would happily book again!

Our holiday was very nice, peaceful, and the accommodation was very bright, clean and very well equipped.

The cottage is situated in the right place to make the most of Anglesey and all the lovely places over the Manai Bridge on the Mainland, I have been going to North Wales for more year's and now I go with my partner we both enjoy it and will be going back to Ty Taid hopefully later this year

No problems with this property apart from a very uncomfortable bed.

The place had everything you need and was immaculately clean. Nicely located to tour round all of Anglesey. Would highly recommend this place if you want to visit Anglesey.

i adore Anglesey and this lovely home is in the best position to travel around the island and also close to everything you could need in the way of shops. even though i have visited Anglesey 4 times in total there are still lots of beautiful places to find and visit. ten out of ten. thankyou again to Catie and Stuart for hosting and hope to see you again next year !

The cottage was spacious and clean with everything we needed for self catering. We had our food shop delivered and it was useful to have a full size fridge freezer. The owners were lovely and helpful and it was a perfect base to explore the Island. Would definitely stay again next time we visit Anglesey.

The accommodation has everything you need including friendly owners. Other concerns about the shower /toilet being far away from the bedroom just mean it’s not en-suite, you only need to diagonally cross the lounge, the shower room is small but the shower itself has plenty of space, is modern & works well. We had a week and toured all of Anglesey & the area around Bangor, Snowdon, Llanberis and Caernarfon. Would highly recommend.

The property was very comfortable, clean and tidy.

We enjoyed our stay there and you. You were very helpful when We needed assistance. there were plenty of knife and forks and cutlery. All the gadgets. You would need plenty of China. And yes, it was very comfortable. Thank you, Sonia and Robert

Had a great 4 nights here and it was lovely .

Loved watching the birds in the garden and silling by log burner at night made the cottage warm and cosy . Everything you needed in the kitchen to cook if you wanted to Very friendly host who checked i had everything i needed welcakes and apple juice with fresh flowers as a welcome gift was niceThis place is a great location to visit all parts of Anglesey and beyond Nice secure safe place i will go again

Catie was an exceptional host, communication prior to the trip was fab, and provided me with many recommendations for places to eat out, as well as things to do and see.

The cottage itself was excellent value. It was very clean, cosy, warm and welcoming, especially with the log burner. It had everything we needed after a wet and windy day in February! Can’t recommend enough and are already looking to come back.

Catie and Stuart are wonderful hosts, kind and very generous.

They made sure to accommodate our requests, did their best to make us comfortable, and were really flexible. We had an amazing time in this cottage for a whole week and it was an unforgettable adventure!

We only had a short break, the accommodation was every thing we required, warm, clean, well equipped excellent location for exploring the Isle.

The holiday cottage is tucked away in a small village, ideally accessible for most destinations both in Anglesey, and on the mainland.

It’s well-maintained, clean and comfortable, and the owners are only next door should you need them (who by the way are excellent, generous hosts and can’t do enough for you!). It’s the perfect base to explore the surrounding area, I just wish we’d stayed for longer!

Very pleasant stay.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Only thing we didn't like was very small shower room (which was beautifully fitted out) and it's location away from bedroom. However this is a minor thing and didn't detract from our stay. Comfy bed, owners warm and welcoming and nice touches were flowers, Apple juice and Welsh cakes for our arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay

Very pleasant stay here.

The cottage is surrounded by trees. It was lovely to hear birdsong all day long. Kitchen and bathroom small but adequate. Good location in small village.

Ty Taid has been a great base to explore Anglesey from and return to.

It is a super clean, comfy, cosy retreat. With a warm welcome. We would highly recommend.

Excellent location for exploring Anglesey. Enjoyed Welsh cakes and apple juice left by the host. Also fresh flowers in the cottage. Great stay and would definitely like to return .

The property was beautifully clean.

We ate in every night and all the necessary utensils were in the kitchen. The lounge was lovely and cosy with a smart TV so could settle down in an evening. The conservatory was lovely for late afternoon tea after a long walk. The property was in an ideal location to tour the island with ease. The shower room is very small but not an issue. Just a couple of suggestions Perhaps to slightly reorganise the kitchen cupboards as there was little space for food. Perhaps some walking guides to explore the island. All in all an excellent trip and we will return .

The owners are so lovely, on hand if needed,but you still have all the privacy you want. Beautiful and clean and comfortable. I had a fabulous week. There’s plenty to do without travelling miles, some lovely walks and absolutely fantastic beaches.I liked it so much that i’ve already booked again !

This is the first cottage I have stayed at that doesn’t have a mat in the shower or one to stand on outside the shower.

I didn’t feel safe when showering as the base itself had no grip on. One of the doors into the property needs some tlc and a couple of the internal doors do too.

Ty Taid was perfectly placed as a base for touring around Anglesey. The cottage was a perfect size for two people, was extremely comfortable and it’s facilities and cleanliness were second to none. The hostess also greeted us with a welcome pack, the flowers, the Welsh cakes and the home made apple juice were a lovely touch. I would recommend this cottage and hostess to anyone who wants a relaxing break.

We had a fantastic holiday, Ty Taid is one of the best places we have ever stopped at, so clean and everything you would need there.

The bed was very comfortable, the conservatory is pleasant to spend your evenings in. Off road parking and a private front garden.

We Stayed at Ti Taid for 7 days and found everything very good.

The cottage is modern inside and well fitted out and maintained. Everything we needed was at hand. The owners were friendly and available for contacting if we needed anything. Altogether this was a great holiday base for visiting Anglesey walks and beaches.

From the moment we booked the communication from Catie & Stuart was great.

Nothing was a problem. Bungalow is lovely and cosy, with a log burner great to relax by in the evening. Great location for Zip World and beaches, with some lovely walks nearby. Heartily recommend this for a nice break. Will stay again in the future.

Property is quite difficult to find (especially in the dark!

) and struggled with the key safe. Owners were both lovely and very friendly and we have had a lovely break with fantastic weather for this time of the year!

We enjoyed touring around Anglesey, we had two days of lovely sunshine, but after that it rained.

We went out for short periods, but then we relaxed in the lovely comfy cottage.

In February the cottage was very well heated and very comfortable. Great location in a small island that has immense variety and great natural beauty. Welcoming and supportive hosts. We would reccomend enthusiastically.

The cottage was as good as described; in a very convenient location for all the 'Straits' attractions.

The property owners were unfailingly pleasant and helpful - imparted some invaluable local knowledge. We would holiday here again and recommend the cottage unreservedly. BTW the weather was kind to us as well - always a bonus in Wales!!!

We felt that the accommodation was over priced.

It was listed with a garden which could be shared with the owners, but in fact it was covered with trees and the whole area would have benefitted from a good tidy up. The bedroom did not have a window which was not made clear in the information. The shower room was extremely small. Some areas were in need of decoration. All in all not worth over £100 a night in my opinion.

Sophie was the best advocate for Sykes possible. She was polite, and responded very quickly to my enquiry, offering to check my second choice cottage too. I would recommend Sykes to any one on the basis of this excellent service alone! The owner too was very patient, despite my interrupting her evening with a call when I drove into someone else’s drive & was lost!
