Fantastic property and stunning location ideally situated for all places we wanted to see.

It was clean tidy and well appointed The only criticism is the EV charger the QR code is worn away so I couldn’t upload the number to make use of charging in addition it wasn’t clear the serial number on the side or in the welcome info book Apart from that it wasn’t clear good stay thank you

We had another lovely stay at Yr Encil, however it was spoilt by a couple of issues.

Unfortunately, during the packing up, some of our 7 year olds clothes got missed. When we got home and realised, we contacted the owner and he wasn’t very helpful. Didn’t want to contact the people who were staying in the property or the cleaners. Eventually it was arranged for my son in law to go from Nottingham on the next changeover day and meet the owner there. The clothes were gone!.

The property was in a very peaceful area with pleasant gardens.

It had plenty of room and was perfect for 2 couples with 2 en-suite king sized rooms and 2 big sofas. Very well equipped down to washing machine and dishwasher tablets. Would have been better if there was more crockery, preferably matching. Gave the cleaning a 4 because there was some dust under the beds and dusty tired dried flower decorations. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Lovely property in a beautiful well kept estate.

Fully equipped, comfy sofas, nice garden, little sun trap at the back corner. The other couple were dog owners and appreciated the provided dog bowls and mat very much. Electric car charger was handy but a bit pricey and the code was quite faded.

Very enjoyable 4th stay in this well presented and very clean property.

Lovely clean well presented property id definitely stay there again when I want to visit that part of Wales again it had nearly everything I needed for the the week even dog bowls and bedding

Great communication prior to holiday - arrived and cottage was immaculate and nicely warm.

Good sized bedrooms and en-suites with fresh white bedding and towels. Beds both king sized and very comfortable. Everything I needed in kitchen was there and clean. I was aware and happy from listing that the garden was not enclosed which was ok as my dogs don’t run off but might not suit other dog owners. One toilet seat was bit wobbly but I would definitely return and recommend. The location is quiet and rural. Good location for lots of beaches and places of interest. The EV charging facility was a ‘must-have’ for me and was easy to use and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed our holiday.

Had a fantastic week on Anglesey.

Accommodation was great, comfy. Plenty of room for us. Could do with some coat hooks in hall for wet coats, will definitely book again.

The house was lovely - well situated for exploring North Wales sites.

The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Easy to walk the dog in grassy areas. Impressed by the degree of recycling available and the fact there was an electric car charger was very important to us and a great benefit for our daily explorations.

Once again a very good property provided by Sykes.

Property clean and everything you require for your stay apart from extra rubbish sacks. Perfectly placed for a stay in North Wales and Anglesey every where within easy reach. Would definitely stay again if taking a break in the area.

Great property, one guest with limited mobility so being all on one level was perfect.

Beds were comfortable and all amenities were as described. Only criticism would be the crockery and glasses were mismatched and many were chipped/cracked. Some of the mugs were unclean when we arrived. Contacted the owner a couple of times and received a quick and helpful response.

Fantastic property in a lovely location.

Pictures don't do this property justice. Well equipped. Very clean. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes a nice surprise. Unable to access property at 4pm check in time as cleaners running late, access became available at 4.15pm but had to wait for floors to dry. This wasn't a problem for us but maybe for customers with a young family. The only thing we would change would be to swap the bath towels for bath sheets and better pillows (as budget pillows) but that's personal choice. Would definitely recommend to everyone and we will be back.

House was absolutely lovely, very well equipped with everything you could need.

Very well presented in a quiet location.

Ideal base for getting around Anglesey and North Wales. Clean and very well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed. Living area was relaxing and comfortable after a day of sightseeing. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. we have an electric car and the EV charger was easy to use and saved us having to drive around looking for chargers that worked. Would happily stay here again or recommend to anyone.

A beautiful spot and a lovely bungalow with many features to make it a great stay for self catering holidays.

Lots of cutlery, plates and cereal bowls though a bit short on mixing size bowls and glass tumblers but I carry my trusty wok so I just doubled up it's uses. A quiet spot surrounded by countryside including playful bunnies which was lovely to see each day. Great kitchen with full size fridge and freezer, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher as well as washing line n pegs so you don't need to pack lots of clothes... Pretty gardens and outdoor furniture both to lounge in or to dine at. A rotary washing line was very useful too and clothes pegs provided. Lots of games in cupboards for children to be entertained with and lots of tourist info leaflets and information at hand, including instruction manuals for the kitchen facilities. Lovely temperature on the showers, very clean and all bedding was pure white showing how clean that is kept too. Driveway ample for two, possibly three cars. All level access and one of the two en-suites is suitable for people with mobility issues. This was our second year of booking the same place and it really did feel like a home from home. We didn't have one but the placed is dog friendly but the only evidence was the dog bowls under the sink, so no.pet hairs left behind. I'd recommend to anyone and will likely be booking a third visit in the future.

What an amazing cottage to get at such short notice during the Easter Break!

Cottage was so cosy and beautiful. It had everything even for the dogs. Well maintained first class property. The area was beautiful and the road where we were situated was so quiet and peaceful. We had plenty of privacy. Great Accommodation! ❤️

Lovely bungalow situated just outside small village close to Meni Anglesey.

Central to most places well kept property, clean and modern property with plenty of parking space. I would highly recommended this property and would definitely stay there again.

Everything was fine Kitchen had been updated since last stay.(Glass or plastic bowl for microwave would be appreciated).Bathrooms very clean .Beds comfy (new pillows needed). Thank you for another very enjoyable week.No hesitation to book again.

A comfortable, well located, quiet and spacious property which needs improving to bring it up to the required standard at this price.

Worn and scratched kitchen units, ill fitting loo seat, black mould on shower door that wouldn't close properly, mismatch of crockery and glassware, very thin pillows which had yellow staining. The "welcome pack" was a pint of milk and a small packet of Welsh cakes. Information provided lacked detail, especially with regards to recycling. The TV apps don't work except for BBC iPlayer. This property was not to the standard that we expect from Sykes in this price range.

Beautiful place to stay, in just the right place for visiting the whole area.

Lovely garden to sit in and listen to the birds. Generally vey clean and well equipped, the en-suite shower could do with a deep clean but apart from that it was spotless. My 83yr old mum did struggle up the "ramp" to the front door but had now problem going in through the back door so not too much of problem. Overall we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend staying at Yr Encil

Great property and fully equipped with all essentials.

Pull out beds only suitable for younger children car needed for getting out and about.

Accommodation very good, with a few minor irritations- the top tier of the dishwasher dropped dramatically when pulled out, the back burners on the stove would not light and a grab rail in the shower was sorely needed.

All these were reported to the owner. A full set of matching crockery and glasses would have been nice, as well as microwaveable containers and an oven glove.

This is a lovely and very spacious property, and it was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed.

It’s in a very convenient location for exploring the Island and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future. The owners Carl and Steph were very friendly and approachable when we needed to advise we may be delayed arriving. Overall, a brilliant property.

Excellent, couldnt fault it, would definitely go again.

A delightful setting so quiet, peaceful and private in a group of properties.

The pleasure is just starting... The bungalow looks lovely as you approach but inside is even nicer. A very comfortable and well equipped home from home awaited us. Large picture windows makes the interior light and bright. The decor is nice and not at all skimped on. Beautifully laid out with a good size kitchen and lots of pans to self cater. The garden is a beautiful lap around with lots of lawn...the garden furniture offers a place to relax and a place to dine outdoors. The dining set had moss on but a simple request to the owner meant the gardener was asked to pop over and he did and jet washed the winter away successfully leaving us a great spot to dine that very evening. I'd suggest the addition of a large mixing bowl for the serious self cater fans such as we are...but aside from that the kitchen was very well equipped. We took an air fryer and slow cooker with us and there was ample space to use these. Bedrooms were lovely, lots of storage and en-suit bathrooms meant total privacy for both couples in our party and all immaculately clean. Ideally situated within a short drive from the A55 gives access to the main artery of North Wales and equally close is the Llanfair PG station where there is a superb cafe where we enjoyed a beautifully cooked breakfast before we left for home. I would highly recommend this property to those looking for a peaceful out of the way location. Own transport essential as shops and other amenities are too far to walk. We enjoy the beaches and countryside more that tourist attractions so it was perfect for us. Also perfect for those with limited mobility as it's all level access front and back and one bedroom has a low level shower cube for ease of use. Congratulations to the owners for making this a home from home and caring about the client experience.

Very high standard of cleanliness. Well equipped kitchen.Very comfy beds maybe the pillows could be updated quite thin (and no pillow protectors which I found surprising.) Thank you for welcome pack appreciated. Would not hesitate to book again.

What an absolute gem of a cottage.

We explored the whole of the island, the cottage was a brilliant central spot. The cottage itself was clean tidy and warm, the pooches absolutely loved the open plan garden and didn’t once try to get in the neighbours. The beds are so comfortable and plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobes. Love the open plan aspect of the cottage. Not one single complaint. Carl and Steph perfect hosts. Thank you for our stay and we will certainly be booking again.

Nice large TV for those lazy days if it’s raining, well equipped in the kitchen with everything you needed.

This is a beautiful place to stay.

It was immaculately clean, very well equipped and quite literally a home from home. It's a very peaceful setting, the garden and property are well maintained and it's in the perfect location for exploring the Isle of Angelsey as well as North Wales. We loved very minute of our holiday and won't hesitate to re-book in the future.

We had a lovely few days in this amazing bungalow with our little dog, everything you could need was there.

The only worry for us was the open garden, which was clearly stated in the information, but a long lead solved that problem. Lovely quiet private little cul de sac of bungalows in a really good location for exploring. A huge thank you to Carl the owner for coming to our rescue with the charger cable for the car really grateful. We would definitely book again and recommend to anyone.

....we had a bonus of fabulous weather Bungalow is private, in a quiet spot....well equipped and clean.....would definitely recommend .... a car is essential for the location Whilst there was nothing to spoil the stay some maintenance was required...but we left a note as owners may not have been aware of them... Grass needed cutting....our dachshunds only have little legs

A very attractive, well furnished and equipped bungalow in a peaceful position.

Two bedrooms, both en suite was perfect for three us. Lovely garden with outdoor seating, which catches the evening sun. Well placed for touring the south of Anglesey; visits to Bangor and Caernarfon on the mainland and NT Plas Newydd, which is a few minutes’ drive away. Very sad to leave and hoping we can return. Loverly home from home on a beautiful little private park of similar properties.

Loved the decor and the beds were super comfy. Well equiped kitchen but maybe a bit more microwave plastics would be useful? but I used my own plastic tubs with food i had brought from home. Owners were very responsive to text message and sorted small issue on arrival very well thank you. Garden loverly though not fenced for dogs which I knew in advance as whole estate is open plan. Also very dark after dusk great for sky gazing. Good instruction and info books. Loved our stay here.

A beautiful, well maintenance cottage with everything you could possibly require provided.

Location ideal for the beautiful sandy beaches of Anglesey none of which are more than a 20 min drive away. Good local restaurants are also a short drive away. An ideal holiday spot.

A very well presented property,very clean throughout both ensuites spotless ,plenty of towels.

Beds very comfy. Kitchen well equipped perhaps a glass or plastic dish for microwave cooking would be appreciated and an oven glove was not provided.Informed the owner about an issue with the fridge he was pleased we had got in touch. Would definitely book again. The only little niggle was the rather poor welcome pack only contained 5 teabags and 4 little milk (we don't drink tea) Thought there would be a couple of coffee pods for your machine but alas no. Enjoyed the few days so thank you for a lovely stay.

We normally holiday with Sykes and have never had any problem.

However, this property was such a disappointment. There were many issues with the property mainly the filthy kitchen and dirty crockery, utensils, pots and pans. So filthy that we had to eat out for every meal and had to throw our fresh food away. Thank fully we only booked a 2 night weekend break. On reporting the issues and providing photo evidence the owner dismissed the problems, showed no empathy and didn't even so much as offer an apology. Its fair to say it was our first holiday we were actually very happy to leave.

The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, and located in a very quiet, private estate. We loved the stylish copper fittings and decor. We had our dog with us, and as long as you keep an eye on them, the garden is very safe for pottering around and lovely to sit in for a cup of tea (even in November!). The cottage is well located for exploring Anglesey, just 2 min by car to the main circular road around the island. We will definitely stay again.

It says dog friendly but you couldn't just leave the dogs for a minute in the back garden or they would be gone not enclosed enough.

Other than that it was great all round.

Cottage was well equipped in a quiet location with well maintained gardens.

All attractions were a short drive away. The only downside was the put up beds for the 2 people in the living room were not comfortable for adults and finding single bedding was a challenge. We had a lovely week and would return.

Just had a week staying at Yr Encil and would not hesitate to recommend it.

The detached bungalow is located on a private estate of just 20 other bungalows and is extremely quiet. It's ideally located to travel easily to all the great places to visit on Anglesey. Its well equipped, has spacious gardens and is very comfortably furnished. Beds were comfy and excellent quality bedding provided. En-suite bathrooms are both spacious. The only downside is that's is advertised as dog friendly but it's important to note the garden is not secure at all. There are no gates on the driveway or on the side and your dog can easily get through a gap in the wall into next door Who had to bring our little dog back to us. Fortunately I had packed a dog stake and cable so she was able to let out on her own. I would also suggest taking your own bath towels as the ones provided are quite small. I had an issue with the guttering rattling very loudly all night in the high winds which kept me awake all night so I had to wedge it with a rock to stop that happening. Otherwise an excellent property that will give you a very lovely holiday.

A great location for access to the island & mainland situated in a quiet & clean cul de sac.

The accommodation was very clean and spacious and met all our needs. As we were there for ten days we could have done with a washing line of some description, also the floor in the kitchen needs repairing before someone trips and the postcode on on details needs altering from EG to EQ.

Yr encil is a beautiful property.

Very comfortable and well equipped. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 1. There was plenty of space for us all. The location was perfect for exploring Anglesey. We really hope to be able to book it again next year

Beautiful bungalow, great location.

Spoke with owner about an initial issue and she was very understanding.Had a marvellous holiday.

The bungalow is lovely, very comfortable, well equipped .

I did contact one of the numbers provided to explain that a couple of things need to be repaired, these small problems were there when we went into the bungalow. The person I spoke to said he appreciated my call as he didn't know of the problems and they would be rectified. We had a lovely holiday and would like to book the bungalow again next year.
