Little House
Description
Beaumaris 3.7 miles.
This charming holiday cottage is nestled amidst the North Wales village of Llanddona, home to a long sandy beach, which forms the eastern end of Red Wharf Bay.
This rustic bolthole is hidden away between Benllech and Beaumaris has been designed to offer a romantic getaway or a small family break, ideal for those wishing to explore the Isle of Anglesey.
Enter into the property and be welcomed into the kitchen, boasting a sleek balance of rustic and charm, where you will find a gas hob, table top oven, a microwave, a toaster and a fridge, as well as a Belfast sink and plenty of space for you to rustle up a delicious snack.
From here, you will step into the sitting room, where you can look forward to sinking into the armchairs with a book in hand during a winter’s evening, with the woodburning stove crackling in the background as your soundtrack.
Completing the ground floor is an additional sitting room, where you can cosy up with your partner on the sofa, tuck into your home-cooked meal or pull open the map and plan the next walking route.
Climb the stairs to catch your rest, choose from a double bedroom with plenty of storage to house your things and space to prepare for your day in style, while the single bedroom is a snug spot, ideal for any younger guests.
To the exterior of the cottage is a quaint garden area, where during a balmy afternoon you can look forward to taking your dining experience outdoors and savour a glass of wine, as you catch the final glimpses of the sunshine.
If you manage to tear yourself away from this truly charming property, take a short stroll into the village and while away a couple of hours in the pub or travel slightly further afield to Beaumaris where you will find a shop for picking up the essentials and a selection of eateries.
For days when you are not lazing on the glorious sands of Llanddona, immerse yourself in Beaumaris’ fascinating history, by spending time at the castle and the Victorian jail, before venturing to the sea front, where fishing trips and boat trips to Puffin Island are available.
Alternatively, travel to the beautiful Newborough Beach, where you can walk along the glorious sand and admire the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park in the distance before exploring the enchanting Ynys Llanddwyn, a small tidal island.
Other days out include a trip to Holyhead where you can catch a ferry to Dublin or if you are feeling adventurous; explore the wonder of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
Little House is a delightful escape that can be enjoyed all year round.

What guests are saying
Lovely little cottage a few miles from Beaumaris and the beach.
Margaret and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. On arrival there was lemon cake, olives, wine and fresh eggs which was so nice. Others have mentioned it, but the stairs really are very steep. I don’t have mobility issues but still needed to come down backwards.
I absolutely loved staying at the little house.
I think i had the best sleeps I've ever had there. So relaxing which is what I was looking for.
The cottage is comfortable and very clean.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful and provided a nice welcome of wine and cake.Being elderly we found the very steep stairs difficult to climb and were advised to climb down backwards but we could not do that. The heating was very good and reliable. The bathroom is downstairs and no toilet upstairs so we found that difficult. Cottage is spacious with a good dining area. The kitchen would benefit from more utensils but the microwave and air fryer were very good.
