“We loved staying at Simdda Wen, from the first time we walked in.”
The heating was on, we felt right at home and really appreciated the extras the owners had left. It meant we could just start our holiday the moment we arrived.
The facilities in the house were great. We didn't want for anything. Loads of kitchen equipment, oodles of hot water, comfy beds, good selection of entertainment extras (TV/wi-fi/games/books/maps).
The pub is a short walk away, was very friendly, and served nice food.

The weather was hit and miss but we braved it, to enjoy some lovely days out on the island, knowing we had a warm house to return to. We loved the local beach which is walkable, a short drive to Penmom Point with its view of Puffin Island and the mountains on the mainland, Beaumaris with its array of shops and cafes, Menai Bridge for a view of the suspension bridge, then further to Moelfre, a lovely maritime village and super cafe - Ann's pantry, Newborough, a lovely place to walk and spot birds and red squirrels and even as far as Holy Island, lovely coastal walks with south and north stack to visit. Perfectly reachable in a day trip.
We had a great week, made comfortable and welcoming in Simdda Wen.
