Owen Villa

Badly damaged bath and the area under the recliner sofa had not been cleaned.

Apart from that, it was a great stay, although parking was an issue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Owen Villa, it was a perfect base for 3nights in Llandudno!

The Villa had lots of space, was clean and modern and had just about everything we needed for our short stay, and would be ideal for longer stay too with a well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, large fridge/freezer and comfortable beds. The location was great, so close to everything - you get the odd reveller passing by but overall it was very quiet given how central it was. I can see that Parking could be an issue, particularly if you plan to use your car each day, but we were lucky to get a free parking space just along the road and left the car there for our whole 3night stay! The closest alternative we found for longer stay parking was to use the B&Q car park and pay via the "Your Parking Space" app - it would have been about £5/day had we used that. The only suggestions I would have is that the doors could use a little WD40, and the TV in the back bedroom doesn't tune to anything so could do with a new aerial. Some of the window latches are very stiff too, I was worried i'd break a couple of them! The very best thing though, after a day climbing the Orme, was coming home to a full set of recliner sofas! Very much needed and appreciated!! Thanks for a lovely stay, we'd be delighted to return in future!

Excellent location and comfortable house.

The only improvements would be to install coat hooks, fix the damaged bath and have a few more lamps and cutlery.

The cottage was in a perfect location, and overall very comfy The one annoyance was that the bedsheets kept coming off, perhaps the next size up would fix this I had noticed another review commented on no mattress covers, these are now in place and it was good to see that actions are taken where needed The kitchen was a dream to use, with good knives and saucepans etc comments regarding the washing machine and tumble dryer we’re really helpful too

We had a wonderful stay at Owen Villa.

Location is fabulous!! So close to the seafront, shops, bus stop and supermarkets. The house is well equipped. Kitchen has everything you need. Very spacious. Great facilities. No mattress protectors which was a shame, definitely needed! Thankfully children's beds did have them. Also fantastic garden space. We were able to wash and dry clothes (washer and airer very handy). Garden would benefit from a good sweep as lots of stones and twigs. Other than that we had a brilliant stay. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks for a great week.

Loved the large pictures of local areas on the walls! Ideal location just behind seafront made it easy to access everything the town centre had to offer.

A lovely holiday cottage in a great location.

Outdoor space was great too. Feedback to support a more comfortable stay - please get some curtains! The blinds were useless. It’s so bright at 4am which was a complete nightmare with kids especially bed times when it’s still so light. Also, a high chair and access to a stair gate would have been such a help. We had to buy two stair gates for fear of our 18 month year old falling down the steep stairs. Really comfy beds and generally a great stay but those touches would have really made a big difference to our stay. Also 10am check out time was a complete nightmare because we couldn’t park the car anywhere to load up due to multiple hotel lorry deliveries along the street and cleaning van turned up bang on 10am. (Lovely kind cleaner though)

This was our second stay in this lovely property which is ideally located in the centre of Llandudno.

Unfortunately this time we were disappointed with the cleanliness side of the bathroom and freezer in the kitchen. Someone had obviously spilt something in the second drawer of the freezer, which can happen and we would have cleaned it but for the fact the freezer was so blocked with ice we could not remove it. The top drawer could not be opened at all because of the ice,leaving only the bottom drawer to use. We couldn’t defrost the freezer as we had medication that needed to be kept in the refrigerator and it probably would flood the floor with the amount of ice buildup. The bathroom had mould on the ceiling and around the shower screen, discoloured tiles and the blind at the windows had obviously not been cleaned for a very long time. Also we commented last time on a dip in the landing floor due to possibly a broken or rotten floor board. This was worse on this visit and in our opinion is an accident waiting to happen. Also for the cost of the property we were disappointed that only two toilet rolls were provided for a family of five people, toilet rolls have always been provided in the past. Finally, the vacuum cleaner was completely blocked, when was it last emptied. It took a while to unblock in order to use it and leave the place reasonably clean and tidy. Other than that, we had a great stay. Thank you.

The location was excellent.

Parking was a problem and there was no information regarding where to park. The courtyard at the back was very untidy so we didn’t access it. The front door was also dirty. The house was well stocked with crockery and utensils. The lounge was comfortable.

spotlessly clean.nice and quiet.had everything we needed.the only negative for us was the mattresses on both double beds.they are memory foam.we didn’t like them hardly slept the first night.we had to find all the blankets and put them on top of the mattress and sleep on top of them.it wasn’t perfect but abit better.and one more thing was all the windows were locked so we couldn’t open any.perhaps there should be a key left somewhere where people can get it and unlock them

A lovely gem to find in the centre of Llandudno.

The property was all we could have hoped for, very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Great to have such a good selection of children’s books and dvds, our granddaughter loved it and said it was her best holiday home ever. The only issue we had was trying to get the hob to work on the Saturday morning until we realised it was a newly bought pan and was not suitable for the hob. Gave us a laugh once we realised though. Also we left a bag of vegetable waste because we couldn’t find the food waste caddy. Hope this wasn’t an issue. Thank you for a lovely property.

This is the second time of staying and won’t be the last. The only mention I would make and I think this is the area, is that the television reception was poor and that perhaps the television could be updated. A small criticism but otherwise highly recommended

Very clean, well equipped ,central location location,spacious and a few minutes to the beach.

Also two minutes to Llandudno leisure centre and close to the theatre. Recommended. Only negative no Netflix and only one television.

Lovely property as described, Parking your car can be awkward but once parked everything is within minutes walking distance.

Lots to do and Landudno it’s self is beautiful and very clean Icing on the cake would have been a tv in one of the double bedrooms to have a bit of grandad time. Definitely be seeing me and my family again

We were initially very happy with the cottage, it was clean and comfortable.

We soon found we had an infestation of fruit flies - something that was already known by the owner/cleaner as a sticky fly strip had been put up by the extractor fan in the kitchen. My daughter and I finally got rid of them by our second week, but it was not a pleasant thing to have to keep chasing the things down and have them fly in our faces on a regular basis. The left hand blind in the lounge bay window also didn't work so it was permanently closed and the others felt very awkward when closing or opening them - as if they were about to lose their function as well. Just little things but also things that could have been dealt with before our arrival as the cottage was empty (according to your web site) for quite a few days before our arrival.

The property was lovely and the location ideal.

Everything that we could have wanted was supplied. We felt very comfortable and could see that a lot of thought and effort had been spent on making this a really welcoming holiday home.

It was a fantastic place to stay in Llandudno very close to everything.

( DVD player is no good as it only plays Blu-ray ) Would definitely go back there. Thought parking might be an issue but could drop everything off then parked car down a side road. Many thanks

Absolutely lovely cottage.

Great location, 5 minute walk to sea front, railway station, shops, including M&S and chippie. Well presented, clean and tidy. My only gripe is that there is no parking and any free parking near the cottage is quickly snapped up. My tip, park at the railway station, only 5 minutes walk away and only £28 for two weeks booked online.

We had a lovely stay at the property.

Great location. It was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Thoughtful notes were a help with the use of items and parking guidance. Hoping to revisit Llandudno next year and this would be our choice of accommodation for a return visit.

This is an excellent property, great décor, clean, comfortable and well situated.

We stay in September for a week and had a lovely stay, minutes from town and sea front. However being so central has its disadvantages , parking is an issue so do look into that.. Having said that I would thoroughly recommend this property and would certainly stay again.
