The cottage layout is fantastic and we spent the large majority of our time in the sun room. The owners provided very detailed and helpful information and the cottage was incredibly well equipped which I always thinks makes a huge difference when staying somewhere when there are cleaning items etc. The beds were very comfortable and it was so spacious and at the same time so cosy. We really can't wait to return as there is so much to discover in the local area.

The sun room was beautiful on the sunny days a the woodburners welcome on the colder evenings. The local community pub was perfect for a meal out.

The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, and in a fantastic location for exploring the North Wales coast. We had a small issue with the heating when we arrived on a Sunday evening, but the owners were absolutely brilliant and sorted it out for us straight away. Their quick and helpful response was really appreciated and turned what could have been a problem into a non-issue. We couldn't have asked for better hosts and would highly recommend this lovely cottage

would have preferd at least a 5 ft bed otherwise a great comfortable time had.

Amazing cottage!

Everything provided that we needed - tea, coffee, milk and cake left for our arrival was a lovely touch. Owner was beyond helpful and we could not have asked for anything more. Only downside was that the freeview signal was very bad so we were unable to watch normal TV in the evening but we managed with the apps. Have already booked again for next year!!

We enjoyed our holiday in this lovely cottage very much.

The cottage is well presented with everything you need and space to enjoy it. The sun lounger is wonderful during the day, then the living room takes over for you to spend a cosy evening. The children enjoyed playing in the garden. We also appreciated the short drive to the beach with its lovely cafes, and helpfully there was a take away fish and chip shop for our last evening. All in all a success. Rona was a helpful and extremely pleasant owner.

The cottage is in such a beautiful setting and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. We loved the garden and enjoyed having a barbecue on the lovely patio. The rooms are all really comfortable, we especially loved the sun room. There is so much to look at in the area too. We would definitely like to come back. Rona was so helpful and great with communication. And the cake and milk tea etc was a lovely touch. Thanks for a lovely week in your beautiful cottage.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay at Tyn Lon Bach cottage and can’t recommend it highly enough!

The location is absolutely perfect, nestled in a peaceful setting yet ideally situated for exploring the best of Anglesey, the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia and Caernarfon. Whether you want coastal walks, beach days, or scenic drives, it’s all right on your doorstep. The cottage itself was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained, with all the comforts of home provided. As a family of four, we found it spacious, welcoming, and thoughtfully equipped — everything we needed was right there. The sun room was a particular highlight, with beautiful light and views out to the large, tranquil garden, which gave the children plenty of space to play while we relaxed. The facilities were top-notch and made our stay all the more enjoyable, from the well-equipped kitchen to cozy living areas and modern bathroom. It’s clear the owners have taken great care in making this a home-from-home. A special thank you to the owners for their wonderful recommendations — from scenic day trips to delicious places to eat and local hidden gems, their advice really helped us make the most of our stay. Their warmth and helpful tips added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcome. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. Tyn Lon Bach is a real gem — a perfect family getaway!

What a beautiful cottage!

The sun room provides spectacular views over the countryside, and down to the sea. Sunsets were particularly special. The cottage is equipped with everything we needed, and the owners provided lots of information and recommendations to make our arrival and stay as comfortable as possible. We hope we'll be back.

Gorgeous clean cottage, you feel right at home straight away.

It has everything you need from utensils, cosy beds and location. Sooo cosy we barely left the whole week, log fires and a lovely sun room. I will deffo be recommending 10/10

We had the most incredible holiday at this stunning, spacious cottage.

Normally, three days of rain on a summer holiday would be the end of the world for me, but in this case, we were thrilled to relax indoors and fully enjoy everything this wonderful property had to offer. The cottage was impeccably clean, exceptionally well-equipped, and beautifully situated right next to a field of sheep. By the end of our stay, they felt like old friends! Whether rain or shine, I found myself out there every morning and evening, greeting them. The location of the property is perfect—just a 10-minute drive to Caernarfon, 20 minutes to Mount Snowdon, and 30 minutes to Porthmadog. This gave us the best of all worlds: challenging mountain hikes, sandy beaches, and visits to historic towns. Plus, there’s a gorgeous country park just three minutes away. A huge thank you to Ian and Rona. Our one family holiday each year is incredibly important to us, and we couldn’t be happier that this one was so special. We’re already dreaming of coming back.

What a perfect location for accessing Snowdonia, North Wales and Anglesea!

The cottage was lovely, very well equipped and amazing scenery, especially the sunsets. Plenty of room for us as a family of four and we spent most of our time either outside in the sun or in the sun room. Most relaxing holiday we've had for many years. We definitely intend to return!

It had little quirks to it that added to its charm

We particularly liked having the sun room as an adult lounge for reading and sewing, while the kids had the run of the main living room. We would definitely visit again

Beautiful cottage, with an amazing view to wake up to and watch the sunset every night.

The sun room is very comfortable and warm. The cottage has everything you need and isn't far from local areas such as caernarfon, Conwy and a lovely beach just 10 minutes drive down the road. We were lucky with the weather so we're able to sit outside in the lovely well maintained garden. We would definitely come back again. Thank you

Great location, everything we needed and more for the week. Would definitely set happily stay here again. Views are fantastic. The house is well equipped and beautiful. So many things to see and do in the surrounding area.

The cottage was very comfortable and provided an excellent base for our first holiday in North Wales.

Much thought had obviously gone in to what people might need and the range of products provided was far better than anywhere we have stayed before, including much more expensive hotels. As always, there are minor improvements that could be made but I am not going to nit-pick - we really enjoyed our stay and so will you!

We absolutely loved everything about the cottage.

It was warm & welcoming. The owners are lovely. The sunroom is so spacious & light. The lounge is beautiful with a gorgeous fireplace & huge dining table. Excellent kitchen facilities, comfy mattress & sofas, excellent bathroom with good shower, really lovely outdoor space with nice seating. Lovely garden & views over the sea. We want to return.

The cottage is decorated/furnished to a high standard.

It is equipped with everything you would need with a home from home feel. It has a cosy living room but also a light sun room where you can see the sun setting. It has good WiFi with a hub in each living room. Outside, there is a lovely lawned garden and patio. The location is good for visiting the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia and Angelsey. A good mix of beaches, countryside and mountains. Great information provided from the hosts. We have enjoyed a week stay over the summer with our 2 children. Would love to visit Tŷ'n Lôn Bach again.

Wow what an amazing property!

Spacious, spotlessly clean , ideal location in a quiet village 10 minute drive from Carnarvon, with a lovely sea view and well kept garden . Lots of parking .There was nothing the owner hadn't thought of , right down to lense cleaning wipes and guide book to bird spotting. The cake and chocolates were very welcome on arrival. Local pub in village if llandwrog served lovely food .WIll book property again .

Wonderful holiday bungalow amidst beautiful countryside.

The owners have thought of so many extra details to ensure a comfortable stay. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The turning into the private drive can be a bit tight due to vehicles parked opposite the entrance but it's not too bad. A short walk down the road to Parc Glynifon is worth the visit. A short drive from Caernarfon and Llandudno is 45 minutes away. Morfa Nefyn well worth a visit too for the beautiful beach.

Living areas are magnificent however bedrooms are small.

Bathroom and separate toilet excellent. Garden delightful, especially as the weather for us was glorious and so we spent a lot of time in the garden. The cottage was a real home from home and we really appreciated the milk and Bara Brith left for us on arrival.

Everything perfect definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The Tyn Lon Bach cottage has a beautiful view of the sunset (and sunrise if we got up early enough) over the horizon of the sea.

The sun lounge next to the kitchen is spacious and full of natural light. The bedrooms are not large but comfortable. The hosts were very responsive, helpful and considerate, providing more necessities than other cottages we stayed before. All in all, a clean, pleasant and comfortable place to stay for a relaxing walking holiday.

Myself and my husband had an amazing stay at the cottage for the week, the weather was beautiful all week, the surroundings are beautiful with the wildlife and sea views from the cottage, everything about the cottage is beautiful and clean and comfortable and relaxing, I would highly recommend and will be staying again.

The bungalow is lovely but the entrance is a tight fit as cars park opposite the turning.

The bed is uncomfortable and the towels need replacing they were well worn and hard. For the money we paid not entirely satisfied.

The cottage was everything that we expected and didn’t disappoint us. The views were exceptional and wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again.

What a property, the owners have restored this to a very high standard, the little touches when you arrive make you feel like you are actually at home.

A truly stunning cottage!

Our third visit and everything was perfect, home from home! Conveniently situated for all major attractions including,The Air Museum, local beaches, Black Rock Sands, Criccieth and Anglesey. Would highly recommend !!

We had a magical stay, the cottage was absolutely spotless and had everything you could have wished for.

The two separate relaxation spaces made it easy to spread out. There’s literally nothing I can fault. The bath was incredible, the internet was fast and great for streaming Netflix, the oven and cooker and other appliances top quality, comfy bed, luxurious armchairs and so many comfy sofas. We did yoga while the sun rose and watched the sea from the conservatory. Stunning. It’s a holiday that we won’t forget for a long time. We may well be back for our honeymoon next year.

You didn't get back to the owners about our request that it was ok about the beds not being zip &link.

The cottage is gorgeous and has everything you need. My 4 year old loved the garden and watching the sheep and lambs in the field at the side. We will definitely return

Everything about this cottage is lovely.

I went with 2 children aged 5 and 17 months. The cottage is fully equipped with everything we needed and more. We did take our own toys which was helpful as the board games were for older children but the kids just loved being outside watching the lambs in the adjacent field. Great location near to lots of days out!!

The cottage was really very comfortable and provided everything we could wish for.

We had the benefit of excellent weather and found the whole area to be ideal for visits to some wonderful beaches and excellent walks. The evening sunsets over the sea were well worth a photo.

We have rented self catering properties for many years and used Sykes cottages several times too, but this cottage has got to be at the top of the list .

We had only been there 48 hours when we rebooked for next year. We almost lived in the amazing sunroom, but the whole house was stunning and completed to the highest of standards in every aspect. You cannot help but enjoy every day you spend in this property which is situated in a superb location.

The accommodation was outstanding .

The owners had worked hard to provide all the necessities , tea, coffee milk ,all cleaning products dishwasher tablets , detergent etc . The cottage was beautifully equipped , warm , comfortable and very clean . It is located in a large lawned garden with views over the fields to the sea . Could not fault it !

A truly stunning cottage with plenty of space and lovingly restored by the owners who gave us a warm welcome.

Everything you needed was in the cottage. The conservatory room was great, just looking over the fields and down to the sea, also some great sunsets from here, even in February! Located off a quite lane but with easy access to places of interest. We hope to come back again one day!
