The Barn

We had a great stay at The Barn and would happily recommend to others.

The check in details were easy to follow and sent via email. It was lovely to see some gorgeous roses on our arrival at what is a superb property. The house was clean and nicely presented, with everything you should need. The deck area had a great patio set which we made use of on the better days along with a relaxing hot tub and with the fencing the whole area felt private. We made use of the bike store, minor point was that the front door lock to the bike store was rusted in place and we were unable to remove it and lock the door properly. However we had our own lock on our bikes so all worked out well. The house itself is well designed with fantastic high ceilings and open plan feel which we loved. I liked the dressing area but could have maybe done with some more storage…maybe some drawers? However this was a very minor thing for us and we managed just fine. We would love to return again in the future.

Lovely place to stay.

The barn it self is stunning one thing o would say tho it is close to main road so can be slightly noisy also I think having some blinds fitted to the front of the property would be useful. Apart from these I’d definitely recommend it

Beautiful accommodation at the Barn Nice and quiet location for our 4 night stay.

Everything was clean and tidy and a very good spec. Hot tub was very nice and clean. I would definitely stop here again.

Absolutely beautiful the barn is so well thought out , the furniture and finishing s are top notch, the information book has everything you need to know , from hot tub , cooker , microwave, tv , the location is quite and gated very clean .

We were very impressed with The Barn, it's probably the nicest stay cation we've ever done.

The barn is clean and comfortable and the fittings you can tell are high end which is of course reflected in the price, it's been done beautifully. We made use of the use of the gym and the washing machine on site both of which are great additions, a couple of mats would have been perfect to stretch on. The barn has pretty much everything you need, including hand soap in the kitchen which I think is always missing everywhere else! Basics like tea, sugar, coffee and milk come free and the owners were kind enough to set the hot tub to a lower setting for me due to pregnancy so we maximised the use of this! Space for one car right outside and the smart TV allows for you to login to all your usual accounts. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need which was lovely. There is a BBQ outside but sadly we didn't have the weather otherwise this would have been perfect! Location is good if you're happy to drive everywhere and enjoy being in the country, it was very easy to find. Only two things that would have been great for us as extra would be an electric charging station on site, we have an electric car so an attachment on the side of the property would have been perfect and due to the length of stay we wished that more toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets could have been provided. Other than that we would definitely stay again!

A wonderful and unique place to stay, very clean and well presented.

Instructions on using the appliances were very clear and easy to use. We took our Alexa dot with us and found the building design made for fantastic acoustics for music! We both enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for all you hard work in providing such a lovely birthday break for us both.

From the moment we pulled up we fell in love with the barn , Such a beautiful and relaxing place .

We have just had 4 nights away in The Barn, Anglesey and had the most wonderful time from start to finish.

Everything was easy, relaxed and just what you want from a holiday. The accommodation itself had the ‘wow’ factor, we really couldn’t fault it and can’t wait to go back! Definitely recommend if you’re wanting a luxury lodge in a peaceful setting with beautiful beaches and places to visit just a short drive away.

Overall the accommodation was beautiful and highly recommended.

The only issue we had really was the position of the TV and the fact the main windows had no way to stop the low sun coming in. Making it virtually impossible until late in the day to watch any tv. Also the fire is a great addition but would have loved a sofa to snuggle up on opposite but that’s us just being really picky as it was our relaxing break.

We absolutely love this place, this was our 2nd trip here and we’ve already booked to come back again in march to the farmyard house!

The barn is absolutely stunning i booked it for my 50th Birthday and it was the perfect place to spend it.

The Hosts have thought of everything even down to a little mini bar with honesty jar. My only issue was a long weekend wasn't long enough.

Thoroughly loved my time at The Barn, very clean and comfortable, beautiful decor throughout and the place it's self is very quiet and peaceful, perfect .

It was my 40th Birthday so it was a special holiday,me my husband and my 5 month old daughter enjoyed our time there relaxing,cooking and exploring Anglesey it's only a very short ride to Caemes bay only a small village but beautiful by the sea. Would love to stay again sometime x

The Barn is just stunning!

From the moment you pull up to the gates, you know its going to be amazing. The Barn is decorated and furnished to a very high standard.. The vaulted ceiling gives a feeling of spaciousness. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. The full height windows, flood the space with light while the smaller windows on the side of the property, frame the the landscape and views across the rolling fields and beyond. The 4 poster bed is spacious and comfortable. I particularly loved the peace and quiet of the place despite its proximity to the road, I hardly noticed it. The walk in shower and enormous bath were amazing. My only recommendations would be some drawers for clothes, cushions on the outdoor furniture and some kitchen roll, foil and cling film for the kitchen. Otherwise everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend a stay at The Barn.

The Barn is a stunning property!

We loved the spacious living area and bedroom, both of which have been converted beautifully and tastefully. The spectacular vaulted ceiling adds to the sense of space. Everything you need for a short or long stay was there, from the hot tub to a dishwasher, iron and even plastic glasses for outside use. The setting is serene and the management of the property is unobtrusive but available if needed. We were very sad to leave!!

This is a very beautiful accommodation, incredibly spacious.

The outside area is lovely and the hot tub is in a screened area which offers privacy. We found the gym facility useful albeit basic perhaps would benefit from an exercise bike and better ventilation, it gets incredibly hot in there even if you keep the door open while exercising. The accommodation is also positioned to visit various attractions.

holiday cottage 'The Barn' was excellent and luxurious.

Loads of space, we went out to local attractions every day and looked forward to coming back to the cottage... We had a fantastic week here, will definitely come back.

Lovely high quality stay, would definitely be coming back!

Kitchen equipment was generally good but we would have liked a little more cutlery.

Guest information was helpful but it would be useful to know the towns for the suggested restaurants. The BBQ meat from the garage was excellent. The key safe is very difficult to open. It had to be pressed very hard by the site staff. If we had arrived after they had left for the day we would not have been able to get into the property. In general the property was very comfortable and clean, with the exception of the BBQ grill which needed a good wash, (we opted not to use it). The bed mattress was comfortable but the lack of a headboard and the metal bar across the back of the bed was very uncomfortable. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

The Barn is an amazing place, we had an amazing time absolutely amazing weather too, the Barn has everything you would need just amazing, I would say maybe as the lights in the hot tub and aux don't work maybe some fairy lights round the fenced area and a rechargeable speaker to play music while relaxing in the hot tub?

This is being picky but just an idea? One other thought was about the lovely stocked fridge maybe have a tick box for none alcoholic drinks? I'm not putting the Barn down at all but just thoughts we had, I enjoyed the free bottle of presecco too!. Last point both my partner and myself managed to walk into the glass doors maybe some kind of sticker or reflective strip as when it's dark the door looks open when it's not again just a thought. You have an amazing place and loved staying there was sorry to come away.

Me and my partner had a lovely three night stay at the barn.

The barn ticks every box, the interior is to such a high standard, such an open and bright space. We’ve stayed in a few barns and this was by far the best. Having use of the on sight gym was an added bonus. We would definitely stay again.

Superb property in a superb location.

Loved staying here Couple of minor suggestions. Could do with a chest of drawers for more storage and cushions for outdoor seating but still an awesome place to stay!!!

We loved our stay at The Barn, and it was definitely one of the nicest properties we have stayed at.

Pictures do not do it justice. The property was very clean, spacious and everything felt very high-end. A great base to explore the island and enjoy a break away.

The Barn at Llanfechell was stunning.

It was relaxing, comfortable and the provision of a basic gym was another factor in choice of this accommodation. We loved the hot-tub and the log burner of an evening too. The hosts provided welcome gifts that were so thoughtful. In summary, we’ll definitely look to book again in the future. A fantastic holiday location - thank you!

This barn is beautiful!

It has absolutely everything you need. We had a wonderful weekend away and the restaurants given in the packet were wonderful too!

I don't think the pictures do the barn justice!

The first thing I noticed and appreciated was how clean everything was. All the appliances are really good quality and seemed very new or just very well looked after. The interior design made the barn feel really homely and cosy and we weren't bothered by anyone during our stay, it was very quiet. We have only been home a few days but already want to book here again. Would have to stay longer than 3 nights though as it's that good.

! This place is incredible and has a real wow factor when you arrive. It’s absolutely spotless and the owners have thought of everything you could need. We loved it so much we extended our stay. I would 100% recommend and we will be back again!

Everything was very lovely.

Chest of drawers in the bedroom might be a good idea. We loved our stay.

Very disappointed with the lack of wardrobe space, my wife took the limited space available and I lived out of my suitcase for the week, An ant infestation by the front mat was an unwelcome site after we returned from a day out, with hundreds of ants inside a pair of my trainers.

Not enough towels and the fridge freezer was just so inadequate. A beautiful place but little things took the edge off our enjoyment.

The barn was stunning.

So much bigger than it looks on photos. Best stay we have ever had in the UK. Felt very luxurious but also comfy and cosy. A perfect stay.

We have just had a fantastic week staying in The Bath.

What an amazing place to stay, we were really spoilt. The whole site is immaculate. The welcome gifts were a nice surprise and really appreciated. No hesitation in recommending this place to stay.

The Barn is an architecturally impressive and generally well equipped holiday let although a bigger bed and a few more teaspoons would have been nice.

Enjoyed the hot tub and big windows. Everything was immaculately clean except the oven shelf which was greasy and smelt of roast meat. The honesty bar is a great idea and the biscuits, flowers and wine left for us were much appreciated. Overall we had a great week which was peaceful until the last night when new guests in the cottage behind were noisy until nearly 2am. I guess as The Barn is situated on a site with other cottages, lodges and caravans some noise is inevitable.

The location and site were excellent but the property itself was perfect. It was just what we needed. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay.

Lovely location peaceful and idyllic. Property had everything we needed for cooking. Shower was extremely relaxing. Couldn’t fault it.

So we stayed at The Barn for a 3 night stay, and we didn't want to leave, the place is amazing!

... Everything about it, we couldn't fault anything! Everything has been so thought out, the kitchen with the island, the sunken sofa area, the log burner, the hot tub, the bedroom and bathroom with the huge free standing bath, the shower was great!...and the view through the kitchen window while using the sink.. We will definitely be coming back here!.. A real credit to all involved in this conversion!

We went for a break for our Anniversary and WOW what a break.

We didn't want to leave the Barn. The living space is designed beautifully...it is so spacious and comfortable. We loved it so much, we stayed another night. You have absolutely everything you need in the top spec kitchen area. We even cooked breakfast on the BBQ. The hot tub is immaculate and so relaxing in a private area on the decking. The site itself is immaculate and so quiet & peaceful. The local surrounding area is beautiful. The local Pub, Chippy, Cafe and shop made us feel so welcome. We went to several stunning beaches. We Can not wait to come back!!!! Thankyou Lauren & George for an amazing break. We loved every second of our stay!!!!!

Our stay in The Barn was exactly what we were looking for.

The facilities were perfect for us and the hot tub was amazing. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco went down a treat also! Many thanks. The only thing we felt we needed was bottled water in the fridge, however the local shops and garages aren't very far away at all, otherwise we had absolutely nothing to complain about and our stay with you in The Barn was simply wonderful. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Love this place, very clean quiet and good standard of decor through out.

The hosts were kind enough to give us more firewood as well. We really enjoyed our stay here. A lot of our friends are asking for this and have already recommended. Everything about the Barn is of high quality worth every penny. We will be coming back.

The Barn in general is amazing HOWEVER the bed has the loudest squeak and rattle when you move, I am a light sleeper so very conscious of waking my partner so ended up getting up very early every morning and sleeping in the sofa so she didn’t wake, if you can see past the bed noise then I would highly recommend but I would not return until that bed is replaced I’m afraid.

Absolutely love this property.

Stunning House and everything has been thought about, we didn’t want for anything. I could literally live here. If i had to have any negatives and i am being picky. The bed was very squeaky and with a 4 month old every movement he startled. By the time we were leaving he had got used to it though. The pipes in the house clunking, i think this is because the heating wont have been on during the summer but having recently gone cold we had the heating on quite a bit and the pipes made some funny noises. Didn’t really bother us during the day just at night they would randomly go clunk and wake you up. Also the location didnt bother us as we did want a chill and relax with our baby but for others bare in mind there isn’t much to do nearby. Due to the rural location and tranquility your looking at 30mins drive. Caemes Bay is beautiful and only 5 mins drive away but there wasnt much to do there with a baby. We enjoyed our walk around the village and a visit up to the local church Eglwys llanbadrig - don’t forget to grab a milkshake on the way back from the local dairy. We would absolutely come and visit again. Maybe child free so we can explore some of the many walks nearby xx

Booked a three-night break at The Barn in Llanfechell in September for our wedding anniversary.

How was The Barn……? Simply stunning! The photos don’t do The Barn justice, it’s huge! The accommodation is classy, whilst also cozy, the main living space has a beautiful open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, there is a dining space and a separate seating area in front of a super efficient log burner. The sunken sofa area is cosy and the large sofas are perfect for a daytime snooze. The bedroom is beautiful as is the bathroom. The hot tub on the private deck is not overlooked and was very clean and easy to use. I want to know who did the interior design so they can come and do our house! Part of me didn’t want to write this review because I know this place will get booked up once word gets out, it’s excellent! We have loved every minute of staying here. Thank you to the owners, The Barn is truly 5 star luxury accommodation. The Barn sleeps two but unlike other accommodation for couples is ultra spacious. Will we return? Definitely!!

The property fully met our requirements.

Everything was of top quality, the whole house was furnished and kept to a very high standard.

Great place in a great location.

Only niggles, open top on toilet not to my personal taste on a privacy and noise level, especially at night. Bed was very squeaky, couldn't get out of it with out waking the other person, every time you roll over it makes a lot of noise. The road noise was sometimes very loud,not something you can do anything about, did get used to it at night after a few days. All in all love the place and the area.

Such a wonderful place to stay.

Everything from the location to the decor is stunning. Highly recommend staying here and hopefully we will be back soon. Location of Cemaes is lovely and easy to get to other places on the island.

Unreal space, setting and standard.

We booked The Barn with the aim to really relax and reset. It absolutely did what we aimed to achieve. Stunning features and style. Everything thought of and excellent finish standard. We can’t wait to return.
