Trigfa

Trigfa has to be the loveliest, spacious cottage we have booked.

Lovely bedrooms, open plan kitchen, diner, lounge with comfortable furniture. Kitchen so well equipped, had everything. Lovely thought leaving milk and pies for our first night. Nothing too much trouble for the owners.

The accommodation was beautiful and clean and well positioned with the village.

Loved it.

Ideal base for exploring Anglesey in a really friendly village.

As soon as we entered the bungalow it felt like home. Extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. Had a fantastic week and would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village.

There's a friendly shop across the street. The accommodation was immaculate, roomy, and had everything you could want or need (and more). We will be back.

We really enjoyed our week staying in Trigfa.

The local community were very welcoming in the village, in the nearby cafe and at the open mic evening at the pub. The local shop was very handy too and close by. The accommodation in the bungalow was extremely comfortable and the efficient sound proofing kept out most of the noise from the road and surrounding homes. Lots to see and do on Anglesey in addition to the fantastic beaches and scenery.

This was our first time using Sykes Cottages and the admin and pre-holiday info was very good, prompt and relevant.

The property we stayed in on Anglesey - Trigfa (home) - was very good and located perfectly for the North, West and East coasts of Anglesey and for Holy Island and the owner could not have been more helpful. Diolch yn fawr Gill. Llanfechell is well located and Walking/Hiking nearby was very good and varied from easy to very challenging - Anglesey beaches are superb and during a week's holiday we spent next to nothing on anything but food and drink and with diesel currently 20p/litre higher where we are than on the island, and with island roads being largely pothole free, driving around the island was also a pleasure with, for the most part sensible speed limits and drivers and free car parking located close to all main attractions. The people too were all friendly and helpful. Two recommendations - fish and chips on Cemaes harbour (as good as any tasted in many years) to end the day and a trip to Parys Mountain! We will be back to experience Anglesey's many delights and would happily make Trigfa our base once more. Isabel and Tim

We had a very enjoyable stay at Trigfa and found the bungalow to be absolutely spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

Llanfechell is a small village and provides a great location from which to explore beautiful Anglesey! There is a very convenient, well stocked general store, just across the road and for main supermarkets, Llangefni is only 15 minutes or so away. Sadly the pub no longer seems to serves food, so if you're eating out it's a car journey. Cemaes bay is just a stone's throw away with its lovely scenery, beach and coastal walks. The owner messaged us, offering help with anything if needed and there were some very tasty treats left there for our arrival - a nice touch! Overall, we were very happy staying at this lovely cottage and hope to return again in the near future.

It is a very modern and clean house, handy for the north Anglesey coast.

Every thing you want is there. The internet is a bit on the slow side that was the only bad part. But I still give it five stars.

Trigfa is really lovely bungalow cottage.

It was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The local area provides great coastal and inland hiking opportunities. Given the opportunity, we will return.

Stayed here over Christmas 2025 and we really enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was modern, well maintained, clean and comfortable. A perfect escape from the noisy city to rural countryside with great views and it was nice and quiet.

Spent New year in Trigfa, home is modern, warm, cosy and comfortable with all the mod cons.

Host allowed us to check in early and left a few goodies out for us on arrival. Area is very quiet, only heard one firework at New year ! All in all we enjoyed our break away and wouldn't hesitate to recommend, thanks Gill

Beautiful Bungalow, home away from home.

I make jewellery and was so impressed I made a sun catcher to complement the bedroom and left it there. Would go back in a flash. If there must be a niggle it's that the fridge freezer is too loud for the all in one kitchen lounge set up. But it's not a make or break issue. Whoever goes there in the future enjoy it and look after it as I am coming back

The house was very clean and had everything you would need including some treats left for us. Overall good experience.

Very clean, beautiful cottage.

Best we have stopped in so far. Couldn't find any faults, only it could do with a shower stool for the disabled & the elderly to sit on. I did struggle to stand for so long in the shower. But other than that it was a lovely stay.

another nice time staying at trigfa, this was our fourth stay here and we will be back in october.

It is just as advertised very clean and well equipped and has a new t.v. which gets freeview,we highly recommend a stay here.

We had a fabulous four day break in this beautiful bungalow, it was extremely clean and very comfortable.

We had some great days out ,Cemaes Bay which was only about five minutes away was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely book this cottage again.

the property is kept to a high standard and has everything you could want this was our 3rd stay here and we will be back again in march/ april so i think that shows how much we like it, so i have no hesitation in recomending a stay here.

A lovely bungalow in a beautiful part of Anglesey.

Our second stay this year. Highly recommend this bungalow either for a week or a short stay. Everything was perfect for us.

Trigfa is a fantastic holiday cottage & has a real home from home feeling.

When we arrived it was spotlessly clean, to the point, we felt that, we were the first to stay in the property. It’s in a great location for exploring the Island. We did a cycling holiday. The property is extremely well equipped has free Wi-Fi, a large TV & DVD player, washing machine & a dishwasher. Off street parking. Plenty of small kitchen appliances provided. The welcome pack was yummy & really appreciated thanks. Gil was very friendly & helpful when contacted. I would have no hesitation, in highly recommending this property to others. There was nothing that, I did not like about the property.

A perfect property .

Extremely clean well equiped and excellent location. Ideal we found for anybody with limited mobility easy level parking , level access.spacious living area, uncluttered bedroom , spacious bathroom with excellent easy shower.All on one level. A well thought out and cared for property.

Cannot fault this property, beautiful and clean, home from home.

The only issue we experienced was with the hob- it really was difficult to use ( others had commented previously ) - if you could make improvements i am sure it would be better for you. ( and anyone staying)

I have been this lovely and clean property twice, Gill the owner is very nice and communicative.

The property is in a nice village and very close to the sea.I would recommend the cottage to anyone. Good disability access if required.Will definitely be back for the third time.

A fantastic property to stay in.

Very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Also in a great location for exploring Anglesey. The owner was very attentive and made sure we had a high chair and travel cot (including bedding) set up. Also very helpful with advice on places to visit and kind treats left for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend

The bungalow is excellent.

It's so clean absolutely outstanding. Beautiful furnishing and done to a very high standard. It has everything you could need and more. It's a very relaxing place to stay. This is our second visit and we will be back again. It's so central to visit anywhere on the island. I really can't recommend it enough. Thank you for the lovely food goodies they were delicious everything was perfect.

It is a really lovely property, perfect for a holiday stay.

It is very well-equipped and maintained. The owner was thoughtful, making herself available in case of any problem. There's a great local pub, community café and convenience store in the village.

The home was clean and very well presented.

It's location was perfect for our needs. The local shop was well stocked and only a few yards away. We recommend Trigfa and would stay there again.

Trigfa is a lovely, comfortable bungalow, beautifully clean and well equipped.

Our only disappointment was the location - Llanfechell is a very small village, and (most important to us) the one and only pub in the village no longer serves food. The surroundings are stunning, but too isolated for us.

The kitchen was very well equipped and lots of cleaning supplies in the kitchen and bathroom. Bath, hand towels and flannels were all new. The amenities were well thought out. We had a great stay and would recommend. There’s a shop and cafe on the same road too!

Spotless throughout ,lovely comfy beds with good linen.Plenty of towels .One of the best equipped kitchens we have stayed in. Thank you for the most delicious sweet and savoury items in the welcome pack. Would not hesitate to book again.

Me & my boyfriend had the chance to spend 7 nights at this beautiful bungalow.

Fully equipped with everything you need. Everything in the bungalow is very well thought out and the whole place is immaculate. From the moment we booked it and to the day we arrived, the owner's communication was excellent & the whole process was stress free. It's a very quiet village but anyone you bump one into are very friendly, there is even a village shop just few yards from the property with all the groceries you need. Overall DO NOT HESITATE in booking this lovely place, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for hosting us and leaving the yummy pasties in the fridge along with milk and the wine bottle, we look forward in rebooking this place in the future.

Trigfa was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything we could possibly need,and more, and was very comfortable. The "goodies" left for us by the owner were a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The property was well placed for exploring the island.

This is a perfect holiday home, so clean and comfortable.

Essential items like salt,pepper,tea,coffee,washing up liquid and lots more were provided. The owner also left delicious cakes etc which were a real treat. The property was exactly as described, a decent shower and comfortable beds and off road parking, very quiet despite being near a road. We had a great week exploring and found the property a good base to travel in any direction. Don’t think twice ,you won’t be disappointed if you book this property,an excellent place to stay.

The property was comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen.

It would be useful if it was mentioned in the details that an air fryer was supplied. We managed to operate the electric hob,however reading other comments in the book a step by step guide on how to use the hob may be helpful to others.

Very comfortable accommodation, good location, easy to travel to all parts of the island.

So many positives!

Firstly, the cottage was absolutely spotless, we felt like the only people to have ever stayed there. Secondly, it must be the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. It had everything we needed, including a coffee machine + coffee pods and an airfryer and lovely welcome gifts. Thirdly, it was perfectly located for exploring the north of the island with some beautiful beaches within a short drive. Finally, it was soooo quiet! We didn't hear a single sound in the evening with very little passing traffic. We would highly recommend Trigfa and would definitely like to stay again.

The owner was really lovely and provided a cot and highchair for our little one. Would definitely recommend and return when we are planning on holidaying in the area again.

Trigfa ticked all our boxes: the bungalow is decorated and equipped to a high standard, everything was clean and neat, and the beds were very comfortable.

And the Becws Mon Bakery goodies were absolutely delicious! We spent the week exploring the island, in a week of glorious sunshine, and will happily return to this bungalow.

Everywhere was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the owners had provided us with a lovely welcome pack of goodies for our stay. We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful week. The little shop just a few yards away sold all the essentials, and there was a pub and a cafe a little further on. There is also a children's play area just around the corner, so I have already recommended Trigfa to my daughter who has two young children.
