Comprised of five dormitories, two triple bunk rooms with en-suite showers and a self-contained first-floor apartment with a double, a twin and two singles, this striking stone dwelling is perfectly suited to large groups of walkers and outdoor enthusiasts looking to discover the true delights of Wales.

As you step inside this grand and well-designed dwelling, be greeted by both a handy boot room and a drying room, where you can leave your wellies and wet-suites to dry as you return from another memorable adventure exploring your surroundings.

Rinse yourself off in the ground-floor shower rooms, or delight in a long afternoon soak in the ground-floor bathroom just a few steps away.

A well-designed wet room can also be found on the ground-floor providing guests with limited mobility a safe space to shower, whilst four further shower rooms and a cloakroom rest up on the first floor.

Spend your evenings chatting with friends in the dining room as you indulge in a fabulous feast, lovingly prepared in the impressive professional kitchen, before heading up the stairs to the first floor for an entertaining evening playing table tennis in the games room or snuggling up by the woodburning stove that decorates the sitting room.

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caerforn . The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands.
