Fabulous scenery A TV downstairs would be welcomed for people with limited mobility to climb the stairs. Also a larger named sign for the house.

Beautiful location convenient for Conwy.

We were surrounded by fields and rolling hills. Farmhouse was immaculate with impressive interior furniture and decor. Clean, white, comfortable bedding in all the rooms. A well organised kitchen had everything we could need. The hot tub was a bonus. Our host was always on the end of a phone to help. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Positives - Excellent accommodation.

Our family enjoyed every part of it right down to the glass window looking down into the kitchen. They loved the hot tub- at all hours of the day. The football game brought great excitement between siblings and grandparents. Kitchen catered for all our needs and bedrooms were excellent. I think you have to be nimble for the very top floor but they managed. The host too was very helpful when we arrived. Negatives - there was a slight “drainy” smell in our downstairs en-suite, but this could have been down to the very dry weather we have had. Also the washbasin in one bedroom upstairs is very small but this was used by my son who didn’t complain. Perhaps for two people it might be different. Only other item I would add to the kitchen is a coffee maker. The venue was absolutely beautiful. So quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend for large groups/families etc. The boys loved Zip World - a must do activity. Thank you soo much for a fabulous holiday.

We were a family of 10, and this cottage was absolutely perfect for us. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention has gone into making it a welcoming place for guests. The cottage was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and there was more than enough room for everyone to relax together without ever feeling crowded. This is a fantastic holiday cottage in a beautiful location, and it’s easy to see why so many people return. We had such a wonderful time that we’ve already booked our next stay, and we can’t wait to come back. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality family getaway. Thank you Eirian and family, you’re fabulous x

Absolutely lovely accommodation, even more beautiful than the pictures.

Overall property very good standard: setting nice, furnishings, decor ,contents of property very good, beds comfortable; hot tub effective- well liked.

Issues: Single large TV in lounge faulty second day onwards; F1 on sunday only possible via our own lap top! Very disappointing. Instructions? band width? Small bathrooms wash basins very small and not practical. 1 Stem glass chipped very sharp edge. 4 adults affected by dust/fibres? in soft furnishings most noticeable in downstairs lounge Football table safety; rod ends stick out during play Suggest a readable sign at entrance required (both directions) Written directions - Abergele approach: mileage 3m not 2m Suggest simple adult height lock on bedroom doors

Fabulous property and hosts.

So much attention to detail in the property and really well equipped with everything you could think of. Gorgeous views from the outside seating area. The owner was on hand to answer any questions when needed. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful property.

It is in a beautiful setting with easy access to local attractions. The property is immaculate, has been lovingly restored and is very well kitted out. Eirian and her family are friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed as Plas Glan Yr Afon for three nights over the Easter weekend.

We were three couples and five children. We couldn't have asked for anything more - the cottage itself is beautiful, well-stocked, and impeccably clean and the surroundings are just magical. Eirian, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. We may even go back next year as we loved it so much. Thanks!

Amazing stay!

The pictures are incredible, but the property is even more impressive upon arrival. All of our family had a great time and the hosts are really lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous week with family.

Eirian was there to greet us and to show us round, explaining how everything works. She was also there when we left. Great service. House was very well equipped and, most importantly, lovely and warm throughout our stay. A great location for visiting the area, both coastal and Snowdonia.

Lovely helpful owner. We had a super week. The stairs to the 2 second floor bedrooms are steep and narrow...too much for me.

Myself and friends have just arrived home after staying here for a couple of nights to watch the local rally.

What a great stay with a great host. Lovely little welcome pack upon arrival was a nice touch, very clean well equipped place with all that you need inside. A real home from home feel, with nice extra touches such as the hot tub and table football. Not forgetting the beautiful surroundings whichever direction you look. Would highly recommend, 5 star!

This is the most wonderful cottage in such a relaxing setting.

It certainly has the WOW Factor. Our party of 8 celebrating a 60th birthday party felt chilled out from the moment we drove up the drive to the cottage. It has everything you could wish for. We didn't want to leave and will certainly be returning. The host was wonderful - met us on arrival - showed us around and how everything worked. Fantastic stay! 5*

This is the most beautiful place I have stayed at.

We only had a weekend and wanted to stay for a month. We were greeted, with love, by the owner. She showed us around and straight away we all fell in love with the place. The cooking facilities were great and of high quality as was everything in the house. The history of the house was made a large part of the theme but was supported with modern living. We were a party of 8 women and it was perfect for us. But we all had children and grandchildren and said that it would be perfect for them as well. Were felt like we were in the middle of nowhere with wonderful views. Yet we were only drove 20 - 40 mins to activities. As you can tell I/we absolutely loved the place. We will be back. A Wonderful Stay in a Stunning Holiday Cottage!

We recently stayed at this beautiful holiday cottage and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The property is truly stunning—immaculately maintained, stylishly decorated, and full of charm. Every room was fabulous, offering comfort and a real sense of home-away-from-home luxury. The kitchen was especially impressive—very well equipped with everything we needed and more. We even had a private chef come in one evening to prepare dinner, which was a real treat and made the experience even more special. The outdoor facilities were just as impressive, with a lovely pergola and a relaxing hot tub that would have been perfect for unwinding—if only the weather had cooperated! We definitely would have spent more time outside enjoying those features on a sunnier visit. The owner was lovely—welcoming, helpful, and clearly takes great pride in ensuring guests have a wonderful stay. No complaints at all—just a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We’d happily return and highly recommend this gem of a cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Beautiful property in a great location.

Owner was really friendly and helpful. We go away every year as a group of girlfriends, and this has been the best accommodation so far. Would 100% recommend!

This was a fantastic property with a lovely host!

10 of us went for a weekend stay to celebrate my friends hen do. Everyone had an amazing time. The property itself is beautiful, wonderfully furnished and very comfortable. The photos don’t do it justice! The scenery is also spectacular, and finding the property was easy using what.three.words. Hot tub, kitchen and both living rooms made for great areas to get together and play games. Smart tv was able to cast to which was great too. We went to a local zipworld close by and The Old Stag for pub lunch - both highly recommend, especially with how close by they are. Wish we could have stayed even longer at Plas Glan Yr Afon! Will definitely be back.

What a fantastic weekend myself and 8 friends all had, the cottage was immaculate and the owner was so friendly!

The views were unbelievable and we all had so much fun in the jacuzzi! There is a pub about a 6 minute drive from the cottage which had amazing food and all the local people were so welcoming. The cottage is so homely and well decorated, fully stocked kitchen everything you needed was there, the cottage is huge and so warm. Thank you so much Eirian x

Absolutely stunning property it was absolutely perfect for us lovely and clean and had everything we needed.

Hot tub only worked on setting 1 which was dissapointing so needs fixing as there weren't any bubbles.

The property is lovely and was home from home for us.

We had a family of 5 adults, and two grandparents and it worked out great. We did need to use all the rooms and the couple in the attic don't have ensuite but it wasn't an issue. We also love to cook and the facilities are awesome. Good Tesco and butchers in Abergele which also has a wonderful beach. It was a great base to explore North Wales including Conwy, Beaumaris, and lovely villages like Llanwrst. The only slightly negative items are that the checkin time is after dark in the winter and that was a challenge, and Sykes location map is out by about a mile.

A group of friends and I visited for a long weekend and we absolutely loved the house.

The photos don’t do it justice. The decor is beautiful and so carefully thought throughout - we loved how it had been decorated with lovely modern furnishings whilst keeping elements of the old building at the same time. It had everything we needed. The kitchen is fantastic for hosting big meals, the hot tub is great and we loved the two separate living areas. It was nice to have a quiet lounge space just off the kitchen downstairs and then a cosy additional space upstairs with a tv. We also liked how there was separate towels and glassware for going in the hot tub - this was a nice touch and something we’ve found other venues don’t always provide. The host was lovely. She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We told her that we were having a pretend Christmas weekend and then added some Christmas lights to the outdoor area for us. Thank you so much for everything, we had the best time. This is the ninth time my group of friends and I have done this weekend and we all unanimously agreed it has been the nicest venue.

! Me and friends were extremely impressed with the cottage, we had a very comfortable stay and loved the decor in each bedroom & the kitchen was brilliant had everything we needed! My own criticism would be the lack of outdoor lighting near the hot tub where in late evening now it is darker we struggled with seeing where we were going. Apart from this, we had a fabulous time and will recommend this accommodation to friends and family :)

Beautiful conversion, every family member absolutely loved this property.

Very well finished, very clean, very cosy… and the hot tub was a real delight whilst it was pouring rain. Very friendly welcome from Eirian the owner.

We had the best stay ever!

The house was gorgeous as shown on the pictures and so spacious for 10 people. We went as a group of 9 and would recommend this property to everyone, the host was also very helpful and on hand if we needed anything. We will be back!

Not only beautiful in situ and decor but this house is fully equipped for evenings in!

There wasn’t anything that we needed that wasn’t there. The host was lovely and on hand for local advice. We were a mixed aged party and had the most amazing week mainly because this property was so comfortably liveable. We will definitely be going back.

Excellent property, has everything you need for a short stay.

Only problem was the hot tub wasn’t hot enough to be used on the first night but the owner sorted this out by the second night and was really helpful. Would definitely stay again!

As a family of 7 with grandparents and grandchildren we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Bigger and better than the photo's. Very clean, modern and a beautiful farmhouse. Must admit it is in the middle of nowhere but we enjoyed the peace and quiet and had the car to travel about. Beware of the country roads. All in all a great stay, would stay here again.

Just returned two weeks ago with family (from America) where we had the most fantastic week in this stunning converted farmhouse in the heart of North Wales.

It is a true gem and blends modern luxury with classic charm. The exterior has breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and a beautiful hot-tub which some of us used to unwind after a day exploring North Wales. The interior has been meticulously designed and offers both elegance and comfort with spacious and sunlit rooms that are adorned with beautiful furnishings and exceptionally high-quality finishes. The kitchen is a chef's dream, equipped with huge appliances and ample space for socialising while cooking. The house is located in an ideal spot for exploring the beautiful towns of Conway, Llandudno, Caernarfon and many more, as well as close to Snowdonia National Park and Mount Snowden. Would love to stay here and visit again, thank you for this beautiful property. We created memories to last a lifetime. Thank You.

Beautiful house set in a stunning location.

The house is spacious, decorated to a very high standard and immaculate. The stairs are steep to the third floor bedrooms but all the bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing. The house is well equipped, the hot tub is in a perfect location with views across the valley. Highly recommended!

This gorgeous home exceeded all of mine and my groups expectations, it was truly stunning!

Our stay at Plas Glan Yr Afon was to celebrate my recent retirement with our family.

We had a very warm welcome on arrival and a tour of the house with extra information for eating and visiting etc. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and really clean. The hot tub was amazing. Shame the weather was not the best but it didn't stop us having an amazing week and enjoying the cottage to the full, the children loved it and enjoyed the table top football immensely. Thanks for a great stay at your beautiful cottage.

! This place is amazing! Thank you so much to the kind owners who were on hand with anything we needed. Location is stunning and the property has been finished to such a high standard. All of the bedrooms are individual and interesting. Beds were so comfortable and it was lovely having so many en suites as we had 8 people staying. Very well equipped, we didn't leave the property for the whole time we stayed as everything we needed was there. Beautiful views, we will definitely book again!

It is absolutely beautiful in an incredible location. The way they've blended the 16th century farmhouse with the modern decorating is lovely. The hot tub by the flowing river in the winter months is a great touch. A really special place for our 10 person family to spend Christmas. Will definitely return.

It was interesting hearing and seeing the development of the property. The views that surround you are incredible, and it’s very peaceful. The bedrooms are all equally beautiful, so you won’t need to fight over who gets which one. There is one bedroom up some steep stairs, so bear that in mind if you’re planning to use all 5 bedrooms and are less mobile Would definitely recommend & return. Thanks!

We had such a wonderful time with all the comforts that we could have wanted. The owner of the property was at hand should we have needed them and the warm welcome we received was really lovely. We combined families for our break and to sit at the large open-plan kitchen table having our meals together and playing cards was really something wonderful. We will be booking again - such a treat of a place, Loved it and didn't want to leave !!

Beautiful location.

Plenty of room to spread out in the farmhouse. Hot tub was great and enjoyed by all of us. Host was more than helpful and very welcoming. Plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. Definitely need a car though. Somewhere I would think of going back to.

A beautiful blend between old and new!

We had the most fabulous holiday at Plas Glan yr Afon for my husband's 40th Birthday. The accommodation was so beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner Eirian was so accommodating and helpful with any questions we had during our stay and was great to recommend places to go. Our children absolutely loved the window in the floor that you could look through to the lower floor. Every detail in the refurbishment of this gorgeous old barn has been thought of, blending seamlessly the old and the new features. We would highly recommend to anyone.

We had the best time, we loved the design of all the rooms, each with its own individual style and it was the perfect size for 8 people.

It was spacious and super comfortable with lots of seating options to relax, eat and chat, loved the fire place and hot tub with its beautiful views, all perfect for spending quality time with fried sand family. The showers and bath were all amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and attentive. The Wi-Fi wasn’t that great but other than that it was fantastic vacation and wished we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back.

Lovely cottage in a remote location, finished to a really high standard.

My family enjoyed a great bank holiday weekend stay. For those considering working while on the break, the wi-fi is via Vodafone hotspot but got a steady 40mbps during our stay, so no issues there. The TV is also sat in a media wall, so no scope to plug in consoles should the children fancy playing video games. The stairs to 2 of the bedrooms are very step, so worth considering for those with mobility issues. Overall, a brilliant stay, our host was lovely and we would return.

It’s a beautiful newly refurbished and well equipped converted barn on a working farm, it is a good size and easily accommodated 2 families with enough space and two large living areas.

It has lovely views. The owners are friendly and helpful. We spent Easter week here and had a great time, everything is within 20 minutes driving distance so you can enjoy some of the busier villages and attractions as well as the peace and quiet of the location and more remote walking areas. There are two pubs within short drive, one we walked to through fields. We would definitely consider coming back again.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful cottage!

Ten of us stayed in this fantastic, converted building in beautiful surroundings. It is spacious enough for ten, yet feels cosy and warm with lovely underfloor heating downstairs and a huge hearth with log burner in the main living space (there are more, big cosy sofas downstairs than in the current pictures). The whole space is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished, with thoughtful nods to the building’s history. The place is well equipped and what's not to like about a hot tub overlooking the river and hills! A great location just a few miles from the A55, superb for exploring North Wales and with more local walks over public footpaths. We found this cottage at the last minute on Sykes and I cannot rate it highly enough; it’s a beautiful place to stay, either as a base for more exploring or a relaxing time with family and friends. Wonderful.
