Beudy

The accommodation was exactly what we needed.

A rural setting, so quiet even though the other cottages were occupied. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. Loved our time there, cant wait to come back.

Solid and spacious property with some high end appliances giving it a 'quality' feeling.

Secure garden for dog with House Martins and Buzzards around in the evening. Very quiet save for occasional low hum from A5.The nearest shop is a drive away so make sure you bring anything you need for first night. A couple of minor issues attended to immediately by owner. The other properties are adjacent but for the most part can't hear occupants. Everything is a drive away but plenty to see within a few miles. Bala was nice. My top tip for food is The Grouse Inn on the River Dee near Carog, 20 mins away.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage.

The location is beautiful, with amazing views, and the cottage itself was clean, cosy, and very comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. There were no towels provided, but this was clearly mentioned in the property description, so it wasn’t an issue. The only small suggestion I would make is to provide a simple welcome pack with tea, sugar, and a little milk. We arrived late in the evening, and the nearest shop that was still open was about 7 miles away. For us, those essentials would have been much more useful than the bottle of wine that was provided. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others.

What a lovely place to stay!

We went for a long weekend to watch a local car rally and wow - this place did not disappoint. The house itself is well equipped with comfortable beds and bedding, ample space and amazing views from the good sized garden! There are other rentals on site but we were not overlooked, and they are far enough apart that even the hen party in another property didnt bother us. We would definitely stay again

The setting was so quiet with wonderful views, the cottage clean & comfortable. Location excellent for our trips. Glad we took a fan as the unprecedented heatwave was challenging. Lovely enclosed garden for the dog with a nice patio set for us to relax.

Beautiful time spent in a perfect location.

We will definitely be going back, very secure big garden which our dog loved, the cottage was very well equipped & very clean. Only two recommendations : a small Air fryer to save using the oven for just two people & something to keep patio doors open, we used blocks of fire wood. Little bit of maintenance in the bathroom only a minor problem the shower doors need adjustment as they don't close properly.

We absolutely love it and so does our dog. Great cottage, beautiful views and the most relaxing time. Can't recommend this place enough. It feels like home from home now. Small leak in the porch so our basket of wood and coats got a little wet but we reported it to the cleaner on the last day. We wish check out was a little later and 9:30 is really early and the cleaner was in and sat at the table waiting for us to leave. We eneded up leaving our fridge food in the rush. Sorry. The pressure got to us and we completely forgot to check. We will be back :) xx

What an absolutely glorious place this is.

We couldn't believe how big it was when we walked in. Everything was perfect: the underfloor heating, the enclosed large garden for my dog, the log burner, the incredible views from the windows etc. Honestly the nicest place we have ever stayed in. We wish we could live there.

..what a beautiful place in a great setting..panoramic view from the French doors..every thing you need in the kitchen...shower and bath...you need a book to put all the good things about this place..all l can say..'book it and see' perfect retreat and central for all the usual touristy places...10/10.. We will be back next year

An absolutely fabulous cottage in the most perfect and scenic location.

Nice big enclosed rear garden, great for our Cocker Spaniel and sitting sipping a wine watching the sun set over the mountains. We had the most amazing five days a Beudy Cottage. Easy and spacious parking a small track up from the main road. Kitchen was very well equipped (a few minor additions needed but not much). It was unusual that towels were not provided, but just threw a few in the car.

This was our second visit and I expect we may well go again.

We return annually it’s a great spot to stay when I visit my son who Lives in Llangollen .

We enjoy Beudy every time .. my only concern is the sofa is getting old and the shower needs some attention as it is becoming mouldy

We absolutely loved our stay and already looking at dates to come back.

It was really clean, there was plenty of utilities and everything we needed for the weekend. The garden being secure is amazing as it meant my Dalmatian, Patch was able to run around and he loved it too! It was also so quiet, we couldn't hear anything from any of the other cottages and it's close enough to different places to head out for the day!

Wonderful views and splendid cottage that accommodated ourselves and one dog well.

Garden well secured and cottage had lots of offer. It seems the only cottage on the site with out hot tub however didnt spoil stay. Tin opener didnt work well and may need replacing. Had all other items could wish for - good value and will definatley consider a return, close to Bala and Betwy coed, great local shop very friendly.

This is a great holiday cottage it's really quiet and peaceful the views are amazing the facilities are good the only things missing was a hairdryer for my mum and there were only a few place mats on the table we had a good holiday enjoyed ourselves.

We had a fabulous time staying at Beudy.

The cottage was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We all slept really well with super comfy beds and pillows! The garden was great for our little sausage dog. It was peaceful, easy to find and in a great location allowing us to access both Bala and Betwys Coed within 20 minutes. A perfect place for a relaxing time away and we will absolutely come back again!!

Stunning views snd although you are in with a group of cottages there is privacy in a secure garden. We all (my mum, my son and I) loved our stay and we will most definitely be going back.

Lovely and quiet. Meg (the dog) loved the garden very spacious. Home from home feel. Plenty of space in every room. Great pub/hotel just down the road with lovely home made food. Loads of room for parking just outside the property. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate in booking up again.

we had a lovely stay at the cottage' there was a couple of issue the cottage was very echoie and at night when we used the bathroom the latch on the door sounded loud; the smart tv was hard to understand how it worked; the days we were there it rain and at night got cold we had wood fore the fire but would have been nice to have the central heating on for the rest of the cottage; but saying all that we still had a lovely weekend thank you.

We had a a lovely short break at Beudy- when we left,we wished we had booked for longer.

Beautiful cottage and location with ample garden ,patio and parking spaces too. Layout inside the cottage is spacious and uncluttered and all on the level which has made this an ideal property for my partially sighted 86 year old mother to enjoy too. Quiet location with views to enjoy.We plan to return at some point soon hopefully.

Another great holiday, this is our 4th year returning we have stayed in Sgubor, Brws and Beudy.

All are beautiful. This was our first holiday with our family dog and he loved the enclosed garden. We did miss not having a hot tub though to sit and relax on an evening, but we would highly recommend all cottages as they are so beautiful and well equipped

Stunning views as we approached the cottage, we loved our stay I could have stayed longer it felt like home.

The garden is great as are the surrounding grounds . The owner was really helpful and responsive to any queries. The cottage is ideally located to explore the local area. We would definitely recommend this property. The panoramic views from the garden are outstanding, the nicest we have ever had.

Everything was perfect, clean and in great condition. Will be back and will recommend to others.

Could of done with some sponges for the washing up, the corner cupboard door pretty much fell off in the kitchen and the shower door comes out of its runners sometimes.

A coffee table would be nice near the settee. We would definitely have another holiday with Sykes holiday cottages.

We loved our stay at Beudy, a modern, clean well kept property.

The photos that accompany the listing are accurate but they make it seem smaller than it is. It's far more spacious than it appears and for us as 4 adults and a westy it worked just fine. We would love to visit again and north Wales has plenty to offer so that may be on the cards.

The photographs do not do the cottage any justice at all.

It's large and a fantastic place to stay. My only worry about saying this place is so good is that I will probably struggle to book next year!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting.

Second visit here. Highly recommended a visit here or one off their other cottages. We enjoyed our break and so did our dog. Plenty off places to visit in surrounding areas

What a lovely cottage!

Very clean and comfortable, with all mod.cons. The outside space is well tended and private with an incredible view. A great base to explore beautiful North Wales. We are already planning our next trip to Beudy!

Cottage is in a lovely spot with good facilities with a private garden space.

Although there are other cottages at this location, attention to making sure they all have their own private space has been thought through. The wifi is weak so you should not rely on it for streaming. Overall, a lovely cottage.

Amazing week away!

2 adults, 1 child and 1 dog. The cottage is beautiful with the most amazing views! It had everything we needed and was spotless! Garden is secure and a great size for the dog, he loved it. Honestly this place exceeded our expectations!! Already looking to book again for the summer so we can enjoy the BBQ!! 10/10 recommend!

The cottage was absolutely stunning.

Really cosy and most importantly clean. I have recommended it to many people already. I would happily return. The back garden was gorgeous with plenty of room for our little cocker spaniel to play in. Thank you very much.

Wow the cottage was amazing, very clean & everything you needed from cutlery to wood for the log burner.

Location was spot on, didn't have to travel too far to go to other destinations, with lots of things to do & explore. 2 great local (ish) pubs the Goat Inn being the closest just under 3 miles & the crown Inn 4.5 miles. Over all a great little break away.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely 2 bedroom cottage and have already recommended it to friends and family.

It is spacious, clean and confortable and with lovely views over pastureland and mountains. Our fridge stopped working during our stay but this problem was sorted promptly and efficiently by the owner.

Our 2nd time at Beudy and we had a nice relaxing holiday, great location and nice and peaceful, we would book a 3rd holiday there definately thankyou

Cottage has minimilist decor but very clean, very quiet and beautifully situated.

A less complicated TV would be nice for us old fogeys!

Loved the cottage, well situated and had a very enjoyable holiday.

As our cottage was dog friendly, the only drawback was part of the fencing was not secure enough for our small dog, though perfectly adequate for a bigger dog. Would certainly like to visit again.

This place is just beautiful.

The cottage was lovely, bigger than expected. The other accommodation all looked amazing. Definately need a car as need to drive to neighbouring towns for shops etc. Will definately be back

A beautifully kept property with stunning views from the garden.

Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of parking space . Beds comfortable with good quality bedding and fluffy towels.Plenty of attractions near by 30-50 minutes drive away.Local shops in Corwen and Denbigh good for big supermarkets.Conwy zoo worth a visit and Bala lake railway. Would visit again .

On arrival cottage was locked, so I had to ring Sykes, came back with keysafe combination, the owner failed to contact me in the seven days prior to arrival, although I messaged Sykes the day before departing for Beudy that I had not heard from owner.

I would have called the owner myself but her number was not available.This was a bad start to what was one of the best holidays we have had in the end.

The weather was good making the views from the patio wonderful. Excellent location if you enjoy walking. Easy driving distance to places of interest.

Lovely location, secure garden for our dog , very convenient for Snowdonia and attractions, the cottage itself was comfortable and well equipped in short would use the same cottage again if we go to Wales again.

Yes we had a lovely break, beautiful cottage but there were just a couple of things I think the owner could maybe improve on.

1. The lounge area could do with a 2 extra comfy chairs. There was 1 large settee which was great but would be ok if there were 2 adults and 2 children,but we were 4 adults!! Your comfort is important at night. 2. Just felt like the windows could do with a bit of a clean and the hob in kitchen as well. 3. There were no scissors in cottage either but we managed, not the end of the world. 4. Felt this was really important,it was a shame the grass was not cut it was quite long. We appreciate it maybe due to weather but we had really good weather while we were there and we didn't feel like walking onto grass as it was very long, even for our doggy!! Didnt quite look the same as on web pictures. 5. Last but not least the drain outside kitchen kept overflowing so there was waste water on most of patio which was not nice when you were sitting outside. We think it maybe due to the down pipe. Saying this we would come again if these few improvements were made it would be icing on the cake as it was in a beautiful location and the beds were really comfy. Just 1 more thought for the owner a hot tub would be great also like the other cottages have maybe.

We have come to the Wales rally and booked this cottage first time visiting this part of United Kingdom.

Our friends invited us to the rally arranging accomdation in Bala. Having only a week to book something I have been searching for 3 days to find something around Bala. Luckily I have come across the Beudy cottage not telling my friends what I have booked and not knowing myself. On the arrival we were over the moon seeing the beautiful cottage with the log fire spacious open plan living room with the modern very clean kitchen. The bathroom very good size and bedrooms very comfortable. Big thank you to the owners well done and we thank you for making our holiday wonderful

We missed some cutlery and shelter from the sun. A beautiful location but the garden very bare. An interpretation with planting and a few trees would enhance it. Very unfortunate were the construction activities on the plot

There is so much to do in the area and the cottage was perfect with amazing views and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Cottage was lovely well equipped my only problem it wasnt close to the shops you couldnt just walk to them or takes stroll to pub which I found a little isolated we had a lovely time and the owner was a lovely lady cannot fault her

WE HAVE NEVER USED SYKES COTTAGES BEFORE AND WE WERE OVERJOYED AT THE BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS.

I AM SURE WE WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN IF THIS IS THE QUALITY OF COTTAGES.

This was our 3rd visit to Beudy and we simply wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in North Wales.

An eco heated building with gorgeous hill views, watching lambs leaping and bleating at the end of our garden, on a sun basked patio and everything you could could think of provided. Lovely owners, perfectly placed for all of Snowdonia and a washer/dryer/airer/washing line for all of our mountain biking and climbing kit as soon as we got in. All that and within a few minutes of an organic farm shop, cafe and bistro at Rhug and you have a fantastic holiday. 4th year already booked.

We stayed in Beudy for 5 nights in September this year and it was one of the nicest weekends I've had in a long time, we didn't want to leave!

The cottage is situations along with a few other cottages, although its set out so you have your own private garden areas. Beudy is a beautiful cottage, all furnished with solid oak furniture and cosy feather duvets. The views from the back garden and the log burner are such lovely editions to the cottage. It has everything you need (as usually you have to come prepared with kitchen equipment!). There's plenty nearby to do, there's Rhug Estate farm shop 15mins drive away that's great for breakfast or lunch. We visited The zip safari just 20mins away near Betwsy Coed which was great fun! We hired bikes at a nearby lake and walked up Snowdon, the 'Pyg' track begins about 40mins away. Its safe to say we would love to visit again!

Great base to discover North Wales. Beautiful surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed our time away. Have already booked the same cottage again for next year.

Our second year here and it won't be our last.

The location is fantastic for exploring North and South Snowdonia with ease and you cannot put a price on that view! Some lovely planting of "red robin" bushes this year makes the garden very attractive but you still get to watch the lambs running about. Great facilities including a washer dryer with a specific sports kit setting for after a big day out in the mountains - very thoughtful. The owners are lovely and there if you need them but his is such a fantastic cottage in such a beautiful place that you just need to be there to have an amazing time. Now did I mention the real steak Rhug pies from down the road...

We've just had a super long weekend break in this really excellent property.

It was easy to find, access & park. Obviously new & in great order with everything we needed to feel at home. The good weather helped make the most of the fantastic view from the garden & we spent hours just chilling in the evening sunshine. We had 2 days exploring the local area: Conwy & its Castle was a lovely day out & the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct was a treat. Sad to leave the area & this perfect home from home.

Awesome location for a short car ride to Snowden.

Excellent for near by road bike routes. Really nice accommodation, would recommend.
