BRILLIANT LOCATION We have just returned from a two week holiday in this wonderful property.

The location is peaceful yet just a short walk to the beach. The house is spacious spotlessly clean and has everything you need in fact it doesn’t really fell like a holiday cottage but a comfortable home from home. The garden is massive brilliant for our three little dogs, although it isn’t fully dog proof for small dogs and there are sheep in the adjoining field so we needed to keep a close eye on them. We could happily live in this great place, thank you for sharing it with us.

We loved this cottage, this was our 5th Sykes cottage this year, the location is fantastic, really quiet, our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the beach, which was just a short 10 minute walk away.

The queen size bed was a bonus. We were blessed with 2 clear evenings, recommend you go outside to look at the stars, they were breathtaking. We loved it so much so we booked for next year.

Large private quiet garden, fantastic for the dogs. Well equipped kitchen, nice modern bathroom and large living space. All making for a great place to stay.

.We love this property and its location - just a few minutes walk to Penllech Beach and a local cafe/shop. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable, with all mod cons, and very dog friendly. The gardens are beautiful and there are sheep in the fields next door, along with views out to sea. It is a very peaceful spot - a perfect place to escape and relax. The new porch and patio furniture are great additions to what is a very special property. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Good location.

Property has had a bit of a makeover so photos are irrelevant as someone else also pointed out, new porch and upvc windows and doors (doors difficult to open and close) brilliant patio area and new settees, unfortunately the largest of them being very uncomfortable (no support on seating). Overall we enjoyed our stay but the property is let down by the cleanliness. In need of a good dust!!! Thick dust throughout and lots of cobwebs. (A previous occupant has even written ‘dirty’ across one lampshade). Porch windowsill covered in dead flies. Tea/coffee splashed over living room radiator and up the wall (just needed a wipe over). (We have photographic evidence if the owners would like to see). A real shame and quite disappointing. I fear that if this is not addressed ratings will plummet as someone else also commented on the dust issue.

We have returned for the 2nd year and it was all we loved the first time around.

We came on our honeymoon last year. Changes to the front porch and patio was really lovely. Different furniture in the livjng room so feel photos on website could be updated. We will be back next year as we so love the house and the fact we park our car and dont use it again for a week. Great for our dogs and so lovely to be able to walk on the beach each day. Lovely cafe as well on your return from a walk to have fab coffee and lovely food.

Cottage was amazing in an ideal location close to the beach and a great garden for our 3 Labrador’s.

It had everything we needed to have a great relaxing holiday.

We had a wonderful Easter break at Tyn Morfa.

The house is incredibly spacious and the outdoor area and beautiful sea views was a real bonus. It is in a great location and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The cottage is absolutely perfect. There are so many nice touches to the cottage from the owners, I read reviews re the garden & some concerns for not fully dog friendly. If any dogs were to escape it would be ours adored the garden. Cannot fault the cottage in way whatsoever. The pictures on sykes, I feel do not do it any justice- it is stunning and a beautiful find. There is definitely a new sofa & chairs set that's incredibly comfy. Its pure cosy, the fire is stunning, the help and information from the hosts is just fantastic *& very informative. We met 2 different locals, who were very friendly & lovely and told us about the other nearby beaches too. My partner was going to surprise me & propose by the beach, which is literally a stones throw, however he felt the open fire & cottage was just the perfect setting & opted for this. And I could not agree more. We will deinitely book again in warmer weather so we can fully appreciate sitting out on the patio areas in lighter nights and warmer weather. We got the opportunity to sit on the bench facing the field with the sheep and a cup of tea and feel it would be absolutely heaven to do that more. So much love has gone in to this property, its simply magnificent (even in colder & wet climates). Thank you so much for your special haven. Was simply perfect and far exceeded our expectations in every way, shape & form. Was such a pleasure & luxury to spend our January holiday there <3

We loved this cottage.

It is very clean, very well appointed in the kitchen with oven, microwave, toaster, air fryer etc. very big fridge and freezers, washing machine. The bed was really big and very comfortable. We love an open fire and the fireplace didn’t disappoint, which divided the dining area from the sitting area. The back wall of the fire warmed up and helped to keep the place warm. We stayed over New Year so if you are looking for somewhere for your dog away from fireworks, this is a great place to go. Very quiet all night. Lovely walks nearby. Thank you for a great stay.

Comfortable, cosy, well equipped and spacious accomodation.

Very clean. Lots of nice touches to make the cottage feel welcoming and homely. Tucked away but plenty of outdoor space for parking and to let the dogs have a run about. Noticed there was plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy but the weather had other ideas, so we made good use of the lovely fireplace instead!! Great location for exploring and a wonderful beach is a 10 min walk away. One tip, the cottage and Llyn peninsula in general are very remote, so be sure to bring everything you need and keep stocked up. Nearest shop is not just around the corner! Thank you for a lovely stay!

An excellent property in a super location plenty of room to park and garden was great for the dog.

Our return to this property was once again a delight.

Lovely walks, beaches and peaceful. Tyn Morfa has everything you need. Wood and coal left for the open fire on the cool nights. Would love to return one day.

WiFi router wasnt working throughout the stay plus the limited mobile coverage meant we couldn't keep in touch with relatives or use it to check information such as weather, news, plan trips etc.

The property was basically clean but there were plenty of cobwebs and dust spiders around, some were monsters, and the windows weren't that clean. Quite a few patio flags are loose and pose a trip hazard. Otherwise it's a nice location and the house has a good aspect.

Third time here, and have booked again for next year.

Great cottage, fantastic location

We had a wonderful holiday at this lovely cottage.

This was our first time at Tyn Morfa and we have already booked to come back next year. The cottage is very spacious for two people and very dog friendly. The porch is a lovely suntrap and the whole place was like a home from home, being really well-equipped with great facilities. Our little cocker spaniel really enjoyed the gorgeous and extensive garden, which wraps around the cottage, and we were serenaded by birdsong every day. The cottage is in a rual location but only a short walk from a lovely quiet beach and 5 minutes from a seasonal cafe and shop, which we would highly recommend, along with the Lion Hotel at Tudweiliog. We were very lucky to have glorious weather for our holiday and were able to enjoy trips around the Peninsula at a very quiet time of year. We found the cottage to be a great place to unwind and recharge our batteries as it was so peaceful, quiet and comfortable.

Couldn't be better. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it.

One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in.

Superb location, well and tastefully fitted out - everything you could wish for, the most comfy bed - wish we could have taken it home! We were blessed with wall to wall sunshine and enjoyed the garden. We didn't risk our dog in the garden, not being that big he could probably have got under the gate and there were lambs in the adjoining field but he was ok on a long rope. The little cafe down the road did very good light lunches. Highly recommend Tyn Morfa.

This was a great find for us.

We were there on our honeymoon and its position to the coast is great. The cottage is lovely and has a good size garden which our two dogs loved. The beach is a 10 minute walk down the hill and is dog friendly all year around. If you are looking for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet this is a great option. We will be booking to come back next year for another relaxing week

This is our second stay at Tyn Morfa.

It is a nice place to stay and generally well maintained although the front porch woodwork is in need of some tlc. It is a great base for walking along the coastal path which has some stunning views. In warm weather it’s nice to be able to sit outside too. In colder weather it’s cosy to have a fire in the lounge area.

House was in a fantastic position.

Was really nice inside everything you would need having big fridge and freezer was great as its 10 miles to supermarket .Porch great for wiping the dogs down.Bed was great so cumfy .The house was warm all week so no complaints there.Odd cobwebs about which you would expect before anyone says its not clean,it was its really nice .So a couple of down side points ITS NOT DOG PROOF so please don't think your dog will be safe ,the garden is big so it wouldnt take much t make a pen area for dogs to run round in,and secondly the shower looks fantastic but totally lackes power.This is not a put down on the house and we would stay there again no problem,so all enoy your stay :)

Very peaceful.

.. Thank you for the bottle of delicious wine waiting for us on our arrival. We had a lovely break, weather was not brilliant but we had our wet weather clothing and was always nice to come back to a dry comfortable home. There was everything that we needed for our week away and looking forward to returning.

Arriving after the long drive we were certainly not disappointed with our choice of escape from the rat-race.

The cottage is an oasis of comfort and luxury. From the big t.v.( nearly always small in holiday getaways),To the comfortable seating and welcoming atmosphere of an open fire. Huge bed means you can get away from it all( including your partner!!) The front porch is so useful to dry our lovely four legged family member after walks to the nearby beaches. In the week we had there we visited seven beaches and have noted at least that many again to get to see in the future. I would imagine that the cottage visited in the warmer weather months would add another dimension to the enjoyment as the wrap around garden has many characterful areas. Would recommend without reservation.

We visit Tyn Morfa twice a year, to us it is a little corner of heaven.

It has absolutely everything you could need, it is clean , cosy and comfortable. The owners take people's holiday experience very seriously. This this time we found they had changed the bed to a really comfortable monster one and changed the TV for a monster one too. We love it there , our dogs love it there and are always sad to leave. We immediately plan our next visit to lovely Tyn Morfa.

Really well equipped property.

Huge comfortable bed in a large bedroom. The front porch was really useful when coming in with the dogs, boots etc. although the woodwork could do with attention. The garden was ideal for the dogs too. We enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was in a lovely location.

The actual cottage was just the right size, the bed was very large and comfortable. Plenty of space for two people and dogs, nice living space and plenty of fridge freezer space if you needed it. The only problem I had was trying to work the electric hob, even with the instructions, I gave up and just used the microwave. Lovely garden space to, but I would say it is not totally secure for dogs. I would recommend the property.

We were surprised how poor the standard of clenliness was.

We saw lots of cobwebs, spiders, dead flies and wasps. We felt that the cottage needed a good cleaning and we did not feel comfortable because of this. We found the cottage was well equipped with crockery, cooking utensils etc. The bed was reasonably comfortable. It was a shame that the cleanliness of the property let it down.

Property nice & clean, Cottage well equipped, everything we needed for our stay was available (plus more).

Using the sat nav to find the cottage was good except for a ‘for sale’ sign blocking the properties name plate, no fault of yours but I would suggest that you contact the estate agents and ask them to move the sign. All in all a very nice cosy cottage for a holiday.

This is a true gem, and lovely cottage in a beautiful area

From the moment we entered Tyn Morfa, we felt at home.

The photographs didn't do justice to the property and we were pleasantly surprised at the space, layout and views from the windows. There was plenty of storage for everything we bought with us including space for the dog's bowls and bed. Cleanliness was exceptional and the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. The gardens were well maintained with plenty of seating though with chill winds in April we only sat outside once but that was in a delightful sun trap. We loved the short walk down to the harbour where our black lab took full advantage of the pebble beach and the sea weed. All in all, we felt instantly relaxed in such a peaceful cottage and location, and cannot recommend Tyn Morfa enough.

Whatever the weather a stay at Tyn Morfa always leaves you relaxed and refreshed.

Great get away!

Winter breaks away from the early onslaught of everything Christmasy is wonderful. Ty Morfa is the perfect place. Facing the winter elements on the coast to come back to a warm cosy, comfy cottage was invigorating. Brilliant coastline with terrific features and places to visit. Standing on top of the extreme westerly point in a force 6 winter storm effectively deals with any cobwebs!

Had a wonderful weeks break ( 27th Oct to 3rd Nov ) found the cottage to be to our liking and very peaceful and quiet.

The beach with rock pools and flat sand were perfect to keep our 2 x Labrador pupp's interested and only a 5 to 10 mins walk from the cottage ( wellies required ). The cottage itself was very well equipped with cutlery and utensils and the wine left by the owners was a lovely touch, The open fire made the cosy nights even more enjoyable. The only couple of points I will raise were the need for a tumble dryer if possible, the cooker in the kitchen is very tempermental as the grill keeps switching itself off when it reaches a certain heat and the shower hose has a bad leak on it next to the shower head which also needs replacing. I will gladly book to stay again next year.

A real home from home but with amazing views and a beautiful beach right on your doorstep.

The cottage is clean , comfortable and has tranquility in abundance. We loved it, our dogs loved it, why would you want to go elsewhere. Can't wait to return

Very cosy and stylish cottage , didn’t have to worry about the heating or hot water which was already on when I got there .

Well equipped cottage with both a six foot fridge and separate six foot freezer . I self-catered as I didn’t fancy the drive to the pub for dinner , the local roads are well maintained but twisty and narrow with sudden pinch points. The bistro next to the campsite , 5 mins walk away , closed at the end of August for the end of the season and the cafe at the other campsite closed last day of September. The nearest supermarket at Nefyn (Costcutter) is expensive but the butcher meat and home made pies look good. The attached petrol station sells the cheapest petrol I encountered on my 220 mile trip Morfi beach is beautifully wild and only 10 mins walk away, if the tide is in you can do a loop along the cliffs. No dog restrictions here ( but cattle and sheep in fields) unlike Abersoch and Aberdaron which have seasonal bans but there are other walks in these localities that avoid the beaches .

A fabulous place but wheeling recycling boxes to the end of the lane once a week might be difficult for elderly and/or disabled holidaymakers.

A tumble dryer would be good ,we were in storm Agnes ! But really these are only suggestions, everything was amazing about the cottage .

Best place we’ve ever stayed!

! Felt like home from home. Big plus for us was the outside space for our 2 labradors…..large and very secure. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Everything you need for your stay has been thought of. Lovely secure garden with fantastic views, for our cocker spaniel to explore. Ideal base for visiting the local places of interest. Definitely recommend staying here.

Tyn Morgan was perfect in every way.

The property has everything that you could possibly need and more ! It is cosy, comfortable and very welcoming. The views from the house and the lovely garden are amazing. It is incredibly dog friendly and the garden secure and our dogs enjoyed exploring it safely. The beautiful dog friendly beach is a short walk away. We loved our stay so much we have already booked for later in the year. We found our holiday at Tyn Morgan just so enjoyable , perfect !

Absolutely brilliant place to spend a holiday.

The bungalow superb with outstanding views. Near to the sea can’t fault it great place to be.

A very nice cottage,location very good , had everything thing we needed However we found it very hard to keep the house at a comfortable temperature (to cold)with the 2 electric wall heaters and trying to be conservative with the electric cost.

Had to have the wood burner on every night Bathroom very cold

Cottage was delightful and just as you saw in the photos. Had everything you needed and lost of storage in the bedroom and kitchen. Enjoyed having a fire each evening, getting wood etc from Pit Stop Garage in Morfa Nefyn. Lovely big shower. Plenty of hot water. Take extra towels if you want more than a bath and hand towel. Our two dogs loved the big garden. Despite the ditches on two sides and other comments read on reviews, I was not concerned about them being out there off lead and did not go close to them. Overall it is a good secure garden. Fab 8 min walk to a local, quiet beach. Have made a couple of suggestions to the owner re the bathroom and bedroom areas which has been responded to. Still no guest book which was requested last year by another guest/review, but have re-mentioned. Always nice to read previous visitors comments and suggestions of places to go and eat and then leave your own. Visited in Feb, so very quiet at this time. I think the other houses around TM are rentals too but were unoccupied hence quiet,. Could be different in warmer months. Heads up for anyone wanting a takeaway from Nefyn. They seem to close for the winter period. Shame about that curry we were so looking forward to haha! Would definitely revisit. Generally liked the place.

The cottage was lovely and very dog friendly.

It is in a great position for walking the costal paths without having to use the car. We have just had a fabulous week thank you.

We had a great time.

Everything was okay for us. We and our dog enjoyed the short walk to the dog friendly beach. From 18th October the local cafe/shop was closed for the season, so don't rely on this for a coffee stop/provisions if going around this time. The actual cottage is enclosed behind two gates, giving a secure and private retreat. There are great views across the fields from the wrap around garden. The only thing we could not find on the list of equipment was the sandwich maker, but this was not a problem for us.

Perfect location so quiet and peaceful with a large garden to relax in our dogs loved it , within walking distance of a beautiful beach , the house had everything you could need and more , we’ll definitely be back

15 minutes walk from a lovely quiet beach,(our favourite beach) Sea view from the garden, lots of places to sit and enjoy the view. Very dog friendly cottage with a fab secure garden for them to explore.

5 miles from a delightful beach. Good internet speed, modern Smart TV, good sofas, comfy bed and everything you need in the kitchen. Lots of cupboard space, large fridge and freezer (although not in the kitchen). Large secure garden, great for our little doggies. It’s 6 miles to the nearest small supermarket, but the caravan site has a small cafe and shop for essentials.

small shop on caravan site down the lane (try the carrot cake it is divine). Steep walk down to beach if mobility isnt too good. Can drive to harbour down lane. Spar shop in Nefyn is very good, Abersoch is too busy to park on a saturday. Alot of cafes etc. seemed short of staff so waiting time for food etc. was long so I would advise taking plenty to eat with you, good in Aberdaron and very friendly to dogs. Only thing we couldnt find was a visitors book to say how lovely everything was.

We enjoyed our holiday at Tyn Morfa in its scenic setting and close proximity to Aberdaron, it not only met but exceeded our expectations we could not fault it. Are dogs Breeze and Flower also enjoyed the freedom of the extensive enclosed garden.

We found Tyn Morfa to be a very nice private, spacious property in a lovely secluded setting and really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely views out of every window - can see the sea from the lounge. Everything we needed in the lounge/kitchen/ diner - very comfy seating, efficient electric heating , boiling hot water, great TV and great to have the large entrance porch to hang coats and take off shoes. The bedroom is very spacious with lots of storage and a large double bed. Just a little niggle with the bed for us - it probably wouldn't be an issue for the majority of visitors - but we found it very low to the ground. My husband has a problem with his mobility and found it very difficult to get up from the bed without my help. Lovely garden and lots of outside space - however, it is described as 'fully enclosed' which is a little misleading. Only partly fenced and with a very deep muddy ditch separating the rest of the garden from neighbouring fields. Not an issue if you stay without dogs. We had to keep ours on lead at all times to safeguard against falling into the ditch and brambles. This wouldn't stop us returning to Tyn Morfa but it would be without dogs. There are lots of good walks close by and the house is well positioned for accessibility to nearby villages and Phwelli. Great little cafe/shop just 2 minutes walk away for lovely food, essentials and warm and friendly service.Happy to recommend Tyn Morfa to anyone wanting a quiet break away.

Furnishings and other contents of high quality. Good information and nice welcome pack. Would be lovely to come back in better weather as garden and seating area lovely, but good short break.

Absolutely gorgeous, very spacious cottage for 2.

Comfortable bed, limitless hot water, quiet surroundings and walking distance to the beach. No faults at all.

A lovely cottage, well appointed with views of the sea.

The very late, 6 pm check in, in December, dark and cold and no heating in the cottage was a big minus. Apart from that it was lovely.

The cottage has everything you need.

Loved the open fire - very cosy. Tyn Morfa is surrounded by extensive and lovely gardens with great views. It’s located within easy reach of the pretty villages of Aberdaron and Abersoch. Many scenic bays nearby, including ‘Whistling Sands’. The cottage is a little tricky to find at first; one of the last directions says ‘At Plas Morfa, turn right’. This is a house name, quite small on the right on a bend, here you turn off. Whilst we were there, there were always bins next to the sign. These served as marker. Hope this helps.

Very comfortable with loads of space, both inside and out. Our second year at this property and enjoyed it even more than the first time.

Close footpath access to the beach and good take away food & delicious icecream + small shop at the nearby campsites.

The cottage was lovely.

It had everything you would want. It was spacious and comfortable. Loved the outdoor space, surrounding the cottage and very private. Loved the evenings walking down the lane to the cove. A bench has been placed there on the rocks where you can watch the seals and the fishermen going out for lobsters.

A delightful cottage in a quiet location close to the Wales Coastal Path with everything you could want for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Lovely isolated location and a short walk to a very attractive beach.

No shops close by so you just need to plan as you go. This property has loads of space for 2 people and is very comfortable.

Cottage was in a great location in the Llyn Peninsula.

Very spacious for two people. Only two negatives - shower wasn't very powerful and the bed was on the soft side. These were outweighed by the cottages many positives.
