The nook very clean and comfortable the host Steve very helpful esey to talk to I've stand there three times and never been disappointed I'd recommend you stay there

Very clean.

Lots of facilities for cooking. Good WiFi. Good location with shops nearby. Only negative was a stupid divider in the driveway which made it difficult to park. Otherwise very good, with a nice welcome pack. No hesitation in recommending the nook.

Our third visit to The Nook, once again it has provided us with the accommodation needs we have for our holiday .

It is quiet and peaceful in the evenings and well located for the places that we like to visit . We look forward to coming back.

This is the second time we have stayed at the nook, we had a lovely relaxing stay, the cottage was spotless, great location and can get to other places easily such as Colwyn bay, Conwy, Betws y coed, Llandudno, within easy reach of a few miles.

The welcome pack on arrival was much appreciated. Everything you needed was in the flat it was like home from home and lovely and clean. Nice garden at the back of the property.Great base to travel around north wales. Would go back again to the nook it was a lovely apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay (in the downstairs flat).

From opening the door and finding the welcoming sight of essentials (tea bags, milk, coffee), to a great stocked kitchen of utensils (perfect as I'd planned to cook meals). The flats was really comfortable and felt like a home from home. Useful folder of instructions and local info. The location was perfect with great access to everything we'd planned and booked in and around the area. The owners have done a great job. Happily recommend.

Everything was available that we needed and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Everything was fine and everything we needed, would preferred a bigger fridge due to us staying for 2 weeks and wanted to do more home cooking and was unable to store food for several days due to the lack of room.

Sofa looked nice but wasn't comfortable to relax on. The dining table and chairs is a bit bulky for the space and it was sometimes difficult to get in and out. Require new squidgy in shower room as it was split on both ends. My daughter liked the garden and being able to see the cows in the morning. Location was perfect and goodies we received when there was a nice gesture. We will come back again but may hire the one above as it has a bath.

Hosts really helpful. Location great, only 50mins to our longest visit, Portmerion, most locations we visited in under 30mins drive, some only 10mins or less. Lots to see. Beautifully clean, well furnished, lots of little extras, great shower comfy beds...what's not to like

Just arrived home after aweek at "The Nook" A lovely little home from home ideally situated for exploring the North Wales coast, with easy access to the expressway if needed.

The outdoor seating area is perfect for a relaxed evening meal (weather permitting) and the comfortable, clean and spacious interior will not dissapoint if it doesn't The large walk in shower is a bonus. The final icing on the cake was the unexpected (and very welcome) welcome pack

Me and my wife stayed here february 2024 and it was beautiful, very clean, everything you can think of, lovely bathroom and great location.

Not a very good stay place smelt of damp and there was mould in the flat in places told the owner nothing was done about this and to Sykes would not recommend this place at all!

Amazing! Spotlessly clean and everything we could need. The kids loves the fire truck, bricks and ball games! We can't wait to come back!

A beautifully presented home from home which has everything anyone could need for a comfortable holiday.

Shopping is a few minutes by away by car or catch the passing bus. The main artery A55 is five minutes by car as is the A470 route to the mountains giving access to coast and country easily. The owners met us and we're very pleasant and helpful, even to loaning a slow cooker when I asked in advance if one might be available. Sleep was a joy in a wonderful quality of both bed and bedding. Easy controls for heating Bike shed option available by the door and a picnic bench in the rear garden space for the hot days if you want to dine outside. Colwyn Bay is very close by offering cafes, shops, library and a great indoor shopping mall and a weekly market. The beach has been upgraded and the prom is still undergoing work though it doesn't prevent enjoyment of the beach. The Long prom leads you to near by Rhos on Sea, another small jewel to explore. Our stay was without doubt one of the best self catering holidays we have had due to the attention to detail and the "every eventuality" thought put in by the very nice owners of "The Nook". We had the ground floor apartment and never heard the people upstairs other then if they used the front door...a seperate access door...so sound proofing and privacy has been given serious consideration. This wonderful property has not been kitted out to simply get maximum return but to give maximum comfort at a realistic rate. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends.

We loved our five night stay at The Nook, Colwyn Bay, the ground floor apartment was lovely, spotless, bright and airy, the rooms are spacious and the welcome pack of goodies was great thank you, we had everything we needed and slept really well in the comfortable bed, we had the use of the rear garden and private parking was a bonus, we met Susan the owner and she was very welcoming and friendly we will definitely stay here again if in the area, Fran and David.

Another fantastic stay at this well equipped cosy home with plenty of parking.

The house is in an amazing location for visiting this lovely part of Wales. With everything you could need with in a 10 minute drive amazing restaurants and lovely driving routes clean beaches what more could you want.

The apartment was spotless! We had everything we needed. The welcome pack was lovely and the kids really loved the toys in the garden. The doll's house was popular on an evening. The beds were very comfortable! Susan and Stephen are great hosts. The property is in a great location. We enjoyed a few trips in the evening to Rhos on Sea. Would highly recommend and can not wait to return.

Loved this accomodation which was in a great location for the North Wles coast and Snowdonia.

Fabulous ground floor cottage, suitable for elderly people with a walk-in shower.

The owner was incredibly accommodating and asked if there was anything she could get to help my 90 year old mum. Lovely hamper with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fresh orange juice, bread and Welsh butter (which is divine!) Dishwasher, microwave, cooker and plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. Towels and bedlinen supplied. Very comfortable beds, although one is quite high. Not sure there is anything else needed

Being able to use the garden was great, a nice spot to relax after a day out and about. The location was excellent for getting out to nice places in North Wales.

We had a fantastic week at the Nook.

Prior to our week away we were contacted by the owners both by phone and email with lots of useful information to inform us of the activities available and places to visit during our stay. We were met on arrival and they could not do enough for us to make us welcome and feel at home. The flat itself is immaculate and well looked after. There was a beautiful welcome hamper for us when we got there and out of 10 I would give the Nook 12. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit North Wales for a holiday or short break.

Lovely place all very nice and clean,a hamper was there waiting for us when we arrived,a welcome surprise, the owner was pleasant and very helpful.

the only bad thing was the approach the house was very steep and was difficult to get in and out of the car.

The location was a bit more remote than we expected however the busses run every half hour. Susan and Stephen are very helpful and knowledgable.

Susan the owner met us on arrival to helpfully show us round to explain where things were etc.

The extra touches of the welcome hamper, treats for our dog and providing information on the local area all helped to ease us into the holiday. Susan and Stephen are the perfect hosts we felt welcome and at home. The flat is clean, comfortable with modern furnishings and has the bonus of a secure garden for guests with dogs. It is ideally situated for touring round north Wales or staying local for Llandudno, Rhos on Sea or Colwyn Bay. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is not far way either and Bodnant Gardens just a 10 min drive. The weather was glorious for our stay which was another bonus. It's a definate returner for us.

The Nook is a beautiful apartment with everything provided for a self-catering holiday.

We had a very warm welcome from the owner who lives next door, who showed us around and explained things to us. We felt very assured with the cleanliness of the property especially during the Covid pandemic and wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending this accommodation. A lovely break away after being in lockdown for many weeks!

The property was spotless ,beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Loved the huge shower and the kitchen had every utensil you'd need to prepare meals. Pleasant lawned garden to enjoy a drink. Great location to visit many places with Conwy and Llandudno only a short drive away. We would definitely visit The Nook again and wish Susan and Stephen every success for creating this wonderful holiday home.

This apartment situated on the ground floor of a 2 storey detached property even though it is set back from the main road toward Conwy is a place of extreme comfort peace and quiet.

It has plenty of off road parking. The owner SUE who lives next door greeted me with a beaming smile and showed me around the apartment giving me all the relevant information about the property and the surrounding area etc. She then left me to it but was on hand only if I needed her. I was overwhelmed by the detail of the furnishings and attention to every detail of anything I could wish for in the property which was absolutely immaculate and clean. She also showed me the overflowing welcome pack which included treats for my little doggy Titch. I had a wonderful week even though it was at the point of the Covid19 outbreak, which however I was able to keep in touch with, with the Smart TV and free WI/FI. As was said by Arnie I WILL BE BACK as soon as possible.

Neither of us had been to north Wales since we were kids and really didn't know what to expect.

The Nook is a lovely little home from home and really exceeds expectations for the costs.. we booked for 5 nights and were met on arrival by Susan who gave us a lovely welcome and showed us where everything was and how it worked.. each room has been meticulously decorated and finished to a very high standard. The kitchen has everything that you can possibly think of needing. The bathroom / wet room is lovely and has a shower to die for with hot water a plenty.. There was a welcome pack waiting for us in the kitchen which had everything we needed for the first day there, even some doggie treats for our big old German shepherd Milo who was also made welcome.. the two little bottles of prosecco were also very well received Everything about the Nook is a positive and Sue & Steve should be really proud of what they have achieved with this lovely little house... I cant honestly think of anything we could pick fault with during our stay here, we really enjoyed it and will look forward to booking it again
