Review for the Nook As three 50+ women staying at The Nook.

Beautiful 1st floor apartment, absolutely everything you could need, airfryer microwave, lovely big fridge freezer. Spotlessly clear. Huge bath towels. We discovered every bus route to Llandudno, Conwy, Colwyn Bay... Prefect setting. Steve was amazing. Definitely recommend. There's a fabulous welcome pack that Steve doesn't advertise, bread milk, orange juice and Welsh butter. A proper little gem

A fabulous place everything was pristine a warm welcome by the owner as we arrived, All equipment supplied great kitchen right down to air fryer, lots of space lovely lounge diner with TV , car parking and our own garden space, We love Wales and it’s well located for both coast and country side couldn’t fault anything

Ideally located in a residential area, minutes away from Colwyn Bay town centre (but far enough that you aren't affected by it), local shops and beaches at multiple locations along the coast.

We were hesitant due to it's proximity to the A55, but although visible (barely) the noise was minimal, to the point I would say we didn't notice it at all and due to great weather, windows were open most of the time. This is definitely one we will keep on a favourites list with a view to visit again due to the ease at which we were able to get to so many locations we haven't been before.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Good location for walking to coast (Rhos) or short drive to other nearby resorts. Safe off road parking on property grounds. Met Steve, the owner, who is a super guy and keen to know if further improvements could be made to make a stay more enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean and well stocked with basics.

Welcoming atmosphere Owner very helpful Would it be easier to have a white line on ground for parking spaces rather than rope? Extra bedside light in double room would be useful Ceiling light bulb in double room far too bright and clinical for a bedroom If storage area downstairs was curtailed off in some way the whole experience would be 110% nicer Otherwise comfortable and could look at rebooting, although would look at downstairs flat due to mobility issues

We found The Nook suited us very well.

Everything provided was consistent with what was listed. Comfortable bed, a good dining area in the large lounge. It is well located with easy access to the main A55 coast road and fairly close to Colwyn Bay town centre, about three minutes in the car. The rail station is useful for places such as Chester if you don't want to take the car. It is well situated for visits to Snowdonia National Park, Llanberis for Snowdon is about 40 mins drive, and both Betws-y-Coed and Caernarfon are less than that, all worth visiting. Llandudno and Conwy are a short drive away.

A well equipped apartment.

Very clean. Close to a lot of attractions so we didn't need to travel much. The owner left us a few groceries which was nice to have when we arrived.

Steve was very pleasant and helpful during our stay,the hamper of milk,orange juice,bread,butter and tea and coffee was very welcome.

Very central for travelling and a good bus service if you don't feel like driving.Clean and comfortable,plenty of utensils,only fault was we didn't have a washing machine,that is in the flat below so when we come again we will be booking for the downstairs accommodation.Will definitely recommend to friends and family.Castle visits were great and the seals on the little orme were a lovely sight to see,if you like more gentle exercise the walk on the promenade from Rhos on sea to Colwyn Bay is brilliant and the little chapel on the front is a must to visit.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Stayed in a lot of apartments over the years and there as only been two that as lived up to what the owner as described as accurate.

One of these is in Whitby the other one is 285b the nook. Very clean and tidy. Obviously the owner values his business and your stay at his property and this shows in his apartments. Got to meet Steve who owns the property and he is a genuine nice fellow.

It is a comfortable and very clean apartment with everything you need for a holiday. Steve the owner was on hand when we arrived with some milk, orange juice and bread, which was much appreciated. The apartment is ideally situated for visiting the North Wales area and this year the weather was on our side, sunny every day and warm which made our stay even better. Thank you, Steve. We will return.

The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable as were both settees in the lounge.

We didn’t cook while we were there but could see there was plenty of equipment in the kitchen for anyone who wants to. It’s not far from the main A55 you can see it from the windows but we didn’t notice any traffic noise. Steve the owner was extremely helpful and the welcome package was very much appreciated. Perfect base to tour the north of Wales. Would definitely recommend

A wonderful modern apartment cosy and welcoming, a great base for exploring this beautiful area of Wales.

We loved our stay at the Nook, it's so handy for touring around North Wales.

Even though we didn't have the best weather we got somewhere to go every day. We love Llandudno it's a great place to visit as is Bet sy coed.

Excellent property.

Kitchen facilities were really good, but perhaps a little overstocked for a maximum 4 capacity - may be worth paring back glasses/cups/tableware/coffee glasses so there is more space for self catered food purchases. Owner was very helpful in resolving a small issue despite being on holiday himself.

Beautiful house, great location.

They provided a great welcome pack, tea coffee, bread,milk. Orange juice Great kitchen equipment, even an Air Fryer. The decoration was very clean. Close to Conway etc.

This was our 4th visit to the nook.

As always, the accommodation was spotless, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Fantastic base to explore the area. Steve the owner is always friendly and happy to chat. We will be going back again. Thanks for a lovely stay Steve. Wendy and Angela.

Home from home. Ideal location for exploring North Wales. Plenty to see and do. Have stayed here twice and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. Hosts very friendly and helpful.

We had such a lovely stay at The Nook 285B.

Everything we needed was provided for us and more than expected too. It was important our accommodation was stress-free, having 2 young children with us. And it certainly was. We had one issue with the cooker that Susan and Steve were more than happy to help with. The location is ideal as not far from Colwyn, Rhos, and Llandudno. Such a lovely view out of every window. We hope to go back!

It was so comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was more than well equipt, with a fantastic full size fridge/freezer, great for when you're self catering and cooking whilst away. The accomodation was immaculately clean, with plently of towels for bathing, etc and plenty of good night's rest in a wonderfully comfortable bed. Great TV and internet too. The area is beautiful with plenty to do, not far from anywhere - most places of interest within half an hour - The Great Orme, Bodnant Gardens, Penrhyn Castle, Caernarfon Castle and boat trips, Llanderis and Snowdon, and the lovely Anglesey for bird watching which was a little further afield. Great convenience store just 5 minutes walk with an excellent butcher next door.

We had a lovely week at The Nook and were lucky with the weather, too.

Susan provided absolutely everything you could want (and more) and the welcome pack was much appreciated. We visited Llandudno twice and really enjoyed our day at the Welsh Mountain Zoo.

Only comment I can give is five star all the way and we will be back

Property lived up to details, very clean and welcoming.

Owners helpful and kindly when needed. A clothes line/whirly gig in back garden would have been helpfyul.

I don't normally write reviews.

However, I feel i need to, due to the outstanding friendlyness and cleanliness of this holiday accomadation. The owners were lovely and friendly. On our arrival, they greeted us and ensured that we knew where things were. They had kindly supplied a hamper, which had various everyday necessities including bread, milk, butter, jam, orange juice, etc. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well looked after and was nice and warm on our arrival. Because we had taken bikes, they kindly let us utilise their lockable shed, which was a Brucie bonus. The sea front was not that far away, just up the road over a foot bridge and down a few streets well within walking/ biking distance. I have to say, out of the various holiday let's that we have used, their's was by far one of the best. Thank you for our stay, we will definitely be back.

This property is well situated to visit many of the attractions around North Wales.

Visitors should be aware that there are two flights of stairs to access the apartment, especially if they have mobility issues.

In all aspects one word sums up this property Excellent

The apartment was spotless when we arrived and the welcome pack was a lovely gesture.

There was plenty of storage space in both rooms and plenty of room for a family of four. The only issue we had was with the size of the beds where the children slept they are very narrow and they did fall out of them a few times

When we got to the property there was a hamper witch was a nice touch we were met by the owners thay are a very nice people and would stay there again as there is everything you need for a great holiday

Apartment clean and comfortable well equipped , ideally located for all the local towns.

Although on and near two busy main roads with windows shut the traffic noise could not be heard . Owner called us to say we could get into the property early and met us to show us around, very warm welcome. Would recommend this property for a couple as it was quite compact but big enough for 2 in comfort .
