This a gorgeous cottage one of the best we have stayed in it is so cosy and well equipped It is home from home, it has beautiful surroundings and so peaceful.

and tranquil Very dog friendly and our cockapoo loved paddling in the stream out front

I highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting a rural escape in peace and tranquility.

Our dogs loved the large garden which is enclosed. I did worry initially about my dachshund who is an escape artist. I thought he might try and get out near the bottom by the stream but he was fine. Our Labrador could have jumped the low front wall but he is good, but bear that in mind if you have a bigger dog. Wonderful views of fields from the garden. The cottage inside is beautifully done out. Fabulous bathroom. The king size bed is so comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. No expense spared on fittings in this cottage. You do have to take your rubbish to the bottom of the lane as that is where the bins are left. You can either walk down with it or pop it in your vehicle as you head out for the day. We visited some lovely beaches - Abersoch being our favourite. There are so many things to do not far away in the car. There arn’t really walks from the cottage, only country lanes, we didn’t find any footpaths. No shop or pub in walking distance. Just for anyone who is worried about the lane to the cottage from previous reviews and pot holes- it is fine now, all been done. So if your looking for a lovely rural location in a beautiful setting, not too far in the car to beautiful places, then this is definately for you.

The cottage was in a perfect location for exploring and with easy access to lovely beaches both on the south and north side of the Llyn peninsular The facilities in the cottage were excellent ( one very minor detail a toast rack would be useful) and I’m happy to recommend this cottage in a beautiful part of the countryside

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage.

It was very clean and well equipped. There is lovely decor throughout. The log burner was very welcome (as the Welsh weather was not kind throughout our stay!), but having the fire made it lovely to come back to and warm up with. Like other reviews have said, the lane up to the cottage is quite rough with potholes, which probably haven’t been helped by the lots of wet weather recently. We had a fantastic stay and will be back soon!

Once again we had a chilled out wonderful experience.

One minor issue which were immediately sorted when we contacted the owner. Will almost certainly look at booking this cottage again in the future.

The cottage has everything you need and we really enjoyed relaxing in front of the log burner after a day of exploring this beautiful area, including Snowdon and Anglesey. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing break.

This charming farmhouse which was built on the 1700,s and has been so beautifully restored is welcoming, warm and comfortable.

The owners have bestowed significant amount of love and attention in terms of furnishings and equipment. For some the location of this cottage may be a little too rural but for us was perfect and despite suffering a week of the most horrendous weather we always found somewhere within a few hours drive to visit and explore. North Wales has so much to offer the visitor. Our gratitude to the owners for the welcome pack ie: milk and beverages (when you arrive at a cottage on the evening this is always gratefully received)

This was our 3rd stay at here at T Btwthyn as we love this area of the llyn peninsula.

You are in the middle of all the best beaches and walks. Whistling sands, Abersoch And Morfa Nyfen just to name a few. Had a power cut in the area on the first day and Stephen the owner kept us up to date when the power company estimated back on times which was great. It’s so quiet and green around the cottage and even a walk down the lanes is worth it. It’s been a lively week and sun sun sun everyday was a big bonus.

The holiday cottage is perfect for us, situated in a quiet rural position.

Nearest town Phwelli. Lovely garden to enjoy the wildlife and scenery. The cottage itself is warm, cosy, very clean and comfortable . The kitchen is well equipped with new oven and hob. The bed is perfect for a good night sleep, so so comfy. Would return any time .

This is a lovely cottage that is well equipped and ideally situation for discovering the whole of the Lynn Peninsula area.

The garden is great for dogs and shops are within easy reach - but a car is essential. The only slight negative is having the only bathroom downstairs (although the bathroom itself is beautiful)

We had a great holiday in the cottage, our only concern was the narrow bumpy road up to the cottage, everything else was to a very high standard.

Great little cottage.

The photos don't do it justice especially of the garden and views beyond. Kitchen and bathroom both excellent and well equipped. The cottage's ocation is perfect. My only suggestion for improvement would be to invest in a new and more comfortable sofa.

What a beauty!

The house was beautiful as were the gardens and the house setting. The house is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and it feels special. We had wonderful time in this fantastic house and would be happy to come again.

Wouldn't hesitate to come back. Just one observation, the biscuits in the welcome pack were out of date and stale so had to be thrown away, but I'm sure it was just an oversight. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Absolute gem of a cottage in a lovely rural location with red kites, green woodpecker, barn owls & many other birds.

Fabulously warm & cosy with a well appointed kitchen, luxury bathroom & very comfortable bed, a perfect location to explore the Llyn Peninsular. Only downside is the unmade road approaching the cottages which needs attention. We picked up a bad puncture on our last night directly as a result of its state. Eventually found a great 24hr response tyre guy who came out with a replacement & fitted it for us at 9pm in the dark & rain. I've included his number in the guest comments book for anyone similarly caught out. Wouldn't hesitate to return but wary of the road.

The cottage was beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable and equipped and furnished to a high standard. it was an absolute pleasure to stay there and we will be returning!

We had a wonderful week at the cottage and didn't want to leave.

We were looking for a peaceful retreat with our dog away from the fireworks, and found this was the perfect place to relax and escape the noise. The only thing we heard at night was an owl, it was that quiet. The cottage and garden were beautiful, well maintained and very well equipped with everything we needed. We felt very at home and comfortable during our stay, and when we needed to reach out to the owners due to the WiFi dropping, they were easy to get hold of, and very helpful, sorting the issue straight away. We would definitely return and would recommend to anyone looking for a countryside retreat, still within easy access of towns and beaches.

Wonderful cottage.

Exquisite decor. Everything we needed, except maybe a pizza cutter and the bin bags weren't under the sink, but everything was top quality and in excellent condition. Bed was super comfy. We loved spending the evenings in front of the fire. We even had a games night or too and completed a jigsaw. Got a bit worried on the last night when the stream started to come towards the front door, but it thankfully receded. Superb location for exploring the area and for a peaceful recharging of our bodies. Our Staffy loved it too. Thank you.

The cottage was beautifully situated and had everything it should have.

On the negative side; I guess necessarily due to size, the lounge furniture was very small and uncomfortable to spend an evening sat down in. The TV signal drops off a great deal. Please consider removing the 'Head clonker' as we called it - the utensil thing dangling over the worktop! That said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in some exceptional weather.

Good sized secure garden for your furry friend. Situated in an ideal location for exploring the Llyn peninsula and Snowdonia. Would ( and have ) recommend to small families and couples looking for stunning scenery, beaches and walks during the day, and peace and quiet on an evening. Would definitely return.

The cottage was lovely - very clean and had excellent facilities.

We loved its location - so peaceful, just the sound of the birds and sheep in the distance. What a change from the noise of traffic, police sirens on the nearby motorway (M53), and overhead aircraft in and out of Liverpool! It was also very convenient for visiting all that the Llyn peninsular has to offer - good food, interesting places to visit, and lovely ice cream.

You arrive to the cottage by driving up a quiet track , immediately you notice a lovely garden with seating areas , where you can watch the wildlife.

Inside is comfortable and well equipped. Bedroom is cosy with a very comfortable bed. The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring.

A beautiful cottage set in an idyllic location.

We loved the remote location, it's only 5 min drive from the local shop and 10 mins from Pwllheli so still conveniently located. The rooms are all a great size and it was equipped with everything we could need including lovely little touches like lots of board games and every type of flavoured tea imaginable. Our kids and dog loved the secure garden as well, though you do have to keep an eye on them with the Brook. Perfect base for exploring North Wales- we would definitely return!

We had a lovely week walking and cycling. The property was spotless, welcoming and warm. to arrive to. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay.

Our third visit to this lovely cottage.

It has a welcoming and comfortable feel to it and we felt right at home.

We really enjoyed our holiday at the cottage but unfortunately had to come home early as my wife became ill.

Hopefully we can come back one day to finish it. Phil.

Great cottage lovely location very homely with everything you need if you want to stay in to cook.

Bit of a shock to find a small aggressive snake in the kitchen on our return on Sunday, but you are in the country, we soon caught it and released it into the wild. We would love to return in the future.

Lovely, comfortable, clean cottage.

Excellent facilities, comfortable bed, nice towels. Kitchen well equipped. Good garden for resting in after a busy day, watching wildlife. Cottage set in a quiet area ideal for those who just want to chill.

We loved the property the weather was beautiful & we have never been to the area before but we will definitely return.

We stayed for a week in this lovely cottage, it was beautifully presented and has everything that you might need.

The location is perfect for peace and relaxation. The only sounds you hear are the birds, you feel miles from anywhere, but in fact Pwllheli is only 10 minutes drive away. The garden is lovely and our 2 dogs were very safe and secure with lots of space to run around with their ball. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone, it was perfect and we were very sad to leave.

Absolutely stunning cottage, spotless as usual, everything you need this is the 6th time staying here wouldn't stay anywhere else now.

Only draw back this time was the problem with the kitchen tap it was leaking bad and when ever we used the toilet or bathroom tapes the noise was horrendous from the kitchen tap. First 2 nights we were woken by the noise the only way to stop it was too go and run the kitchen tap to stop it. This happened 3 time's both nights. I phoned Steve the home owner who got someone to come round on the Monday, problem was with the hot tap in kitchen, the plumber turned off the hot water in the kitchen problem solved with the noise. Although was told someone would be round to sort it sadly no one did for the rest of our stay, however this didn't spoil our lovely time in the cottage,

We loved the cottage and would have no hesitation either staying again or recommending it.

A couple of points though, the access road to the property was extremely rough with a small stream running through it at one point, this created quite a dip in the track. It was I believe listed in the description but something really needs doing with this to prevent damage to guests cars. Also the plumbing needs looking at as either turning a tap on or flushing the loo, created quite a noise in the kitchen (another guest had also mentioned this). Lastly neither the dining chairs or the settee and lounge chairs were very comfortable, they were, looking at them, quite old (in keeping with the property I know

Our stay at the cottage was beautiful.

Just what we needed, peace and tranquility, but not far from the mountains or the sea. We had one small problem with the heating but Gina (the owner) dealt with it immediately, we couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely recommend and visit again

Great cottage in a quite spot ,very relaxing and clean good walks short drive away along costal paths and near welsh lango centre Then home light the fire ,cook a lovely meal in well equipped kitchen , the chill watching a film on Netflix followed by a great night's sleep in one of best cottages we have rented

Five Star The pictures need updating as they don't do this beautiful cottage justice it is gorgeous.

Any previous negatives have been visited with a new smart gate and extra seating in the lovely lounge. The new bathroom with separate shower and free standing bath is stunning. Wifi is great and also have Netflix and Prime on the TV. Remote location so you do have to drive everywhere but relaxing with all facilities out door barbecue in summer and close to lots of gorgeous towns and beaches. This cottage is 5 star

We had a wonderful time the owners were friendly and helpful, the cottage was perfect was a really much needed week away for some quality family time away from work in a perfectly secluded location.

Beautiful cottage.

Very relaxing 50th birthday stay. Fabulous bath! We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed minus a wok . Spotlessly clean and super comfy bed! Great location to access the local beaches and mountains. Car needed as in the middle of lanes but plenty of parking space. Sat nav sent us to a nearby cottage up the rd. However owners gave very clear directions. On Google maps. It's marked as sgubor wenol ty du. Great communication .

Had an absolutely wonderful stay in this cottage.

The only thing that could be improved was the sofas/chairs weren’t big enough for 4 to sit together. But everything else was perfect

Holiday cottage is of a high standard with everything you need it's a bit of the beaten track I like things quite.

but for some reason the wife and I didn't feel over comfortable as in previous cottages .I would recommend cottage for people who like a blazing log burner and a glass of wine.

Initially hard to find as no signs anywhere and sat nav didn't recognise postcode. Suggest directions a little more specific. Once there really nice stay, super dog friendly with everything you need for a chilled out holiday away from it all. Would recommend and will return

The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable.

This is the second year in succession we have stayed at the cottage.

The only fault was the oven had not been left clean and consequently we never used it. The weather was very good and our dog enjoyed the rear garden. A good relaxing holiday week again.

Wonderful cottage, and gorgeous views.

A little hard to find especially on SAT NAV, went round in circles on the first day. Near to facilities and beaches, plenty of walks for the dogs. The weather was brilliant and we went out everyday to the beach where the dogs went into the sea. Well recommended, wet room very good an£ shower powerful.

The cottage was just perfect for us and exactly what we needed.

Our kids and our dog enjoyed the garden especially the stream so we were constantly drying their clothes :-) The cottage had everything we needed. We are family of five so we appreciated extendable table. It was so cosy with the beautiful woodburner. The beds were comfortable too. We love the area (been here before) with wonderful beaches and picturesque towns. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back :-)

The cottage was beautiful and very cosy, lovely surroundings .

I was upset to find the garden was not fully secure for the dogs, even though i had rang skyes to check this, the gate across the brook has a big gap underneath one side of it, a very large dog might be ok but a medium/small dog would be able to get underneath it, which is not good as there were cows with calves in the the next field. Also there is no back door just a front door with a rock wall about knee height so dogs could easily jump onto or over this. We found quite a bit of what could have been deer or maybe fox poo in the garden so beware if your dog loves to roll in smelly stuff. The single bedroom beds were uncomfortable one of them was like laying on a concrete slab. Beware of the shower it floods the bathroom! bath was nice and big and a lovely view of the meadow while relaxing in the bath was nice. Would have been nice for some personal touches as we have had in previous cottages but overall a lovely place to stay and very quiet, there is no wood for the fire as stated in the handbook. I personally wouldn't stay here again due to the garden not being fully secure for the dogs.

Cottage was lovely - clean, great facilities and fantastic location Quite shocked the prices have gone up by 50% for next year though !

We thought given the quality of the cottage the lounge furniture was uncomfortable.

The only other criticsm we had was the shower screen was too small to prevent the bathroom floor being flooded each time we took a shower. We thought that the cottage was well situated with a lovely garden and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would use this cottage again.

The cottage was comfortable, cosy, very well equipped and spotless.

The kitchen has everything you could need, the bathroom has recently been modernised. The bedrooms are cosy with comfortable beds. The setting of the cottage for us was perfect , we had our own garden area, with open fields to the side and back. Where we sat out after a busy day brew in hand watching the wildlife.

It has a recently built bathroom which was an added bonus as we didn’t not know about it. The freestanding bath is perfect to relax in after a long day. The cottage is isolated in a small courtyard which was just what we were looking for however it is close to lots of places, we particularly enjoyed Aber Falls and Zip World both which were close. The garden is huge and our dog loved it, very dog friendly. We had a minor problem with the wifi and the housekeeper and owner were so quick to resolve it. It was a perfect holiday for us as a couple with our dog and we would love to return.

Cottage was lovely, very well equipped and the garden was all enclosed and great for the dog.

The only small issue was seating in the living room was not very comfy.

Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped.

Towels and bedding were provided although we didn't use these as we prefer our own. The WiFi was good and we had no problems with connecting to the internet. Garden was lovely and peaceful and dog friendly. I would certainly book this cottage again as it was exactly what we were looking for in a holiday cottage, and probably will!

Just returned from our third stay at this beautiful cottage!

It never fails to disappoint - breathtaking views with a stunning garden, gorgeous interior, comfortable beds and lots of thoughtful touches that make this cottage feel like home from home. If you are worried... there is now a hand gel dispenser and lots of antibacterial cleaning products available and the cottage is very thoroughly cleaned between guests, including many items, like the hairdryer being wiped down. I would definitely recommend this cottage!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you. Only slight bit of feedback is that the guest intro book said spare logs for burner outside in the boxes but there was none.

The cottage was absolutely lovely and really well equipped although we did run out of a couple of essentials like loo roll, dishwasher tablets and bin bags, but other than that couldn't fault it!

Perfect location in a quiet area but easy to get to lots of beautiful places. Coastline beautiful and in need of more exploring. The housekeeper for the cottage very helpful, friendly and only a phone call away.

Stunning cottage , hidden away from it all.

Beautiful cottage and setting.

Would definitely return. Really well equipped. Only issue is lounge seating. Comfortable for three but not four. We managed as my daughter was small. Next year we wouldn’t which is a shame because we would love to come back.

Beautiful inside & out. This was my second visit & have already booked my third.

The cottage was advertised with Wi-Fi, I would recommend that this is removed as we were mostly without Wi-Fi during our stay at the cottage, we were advised on the Welcome Card that if we stood in the bathroom at the window we would be able to connect to next doors, Wi-Fi, not the best place to spend a Christmas break.

The kitchen was clean but poorly equipped, with only 3 saucepans and a frying pan, no serving dishes and a minimum of crockery, 4 small dishes and 4 small plates. The cooker was excellent. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the bed exceptionally comfortable, the small room was an odd layout but both beds were comfortable, all the towels were good quality and the décor was very tasteful, the only drawback in the lounge was that the seating was for 3 rather than 4 adults, a single chair and a settee (which was probably for 3 but wasn't large enough), as the flooring was tiled the option to sit on the floor for the 4th (unlucky) adult wasn't there, we had to bring the bedroom high back chair downstairs. The twin bedroom wardrobe smelt musty and if the door wasn't left open tainted the clothes that hung in there.

The cottage and surrounding area was absolutely beautiful.

The enclosed garden at the rear of the property was excellent for my daughter and dog to play in. The gorgeous coastal villages and areas of interest were a short drive away. We all had a lovely time and would love to stay again.
