Description

Cemaes Bay 4.8 miles.

A lovely detached cottage set on the Isle of Anglesey, next door to the owner’s home in the hamlet of Llanrhyddlad, and just a stone’s throw from the western shores of the island at Church Bay.

Full of a homely style and charm, Rhiangwyn has been lovingly finished to offer a family group quality holiday accommodation throughout, benefitting from spacious rooms and some fabulous features, like a hot tub and outdoor sheltered bar area.

Gather everyone together in the country farmhouse kitchen, with an impressive range cooker to assist you in rustling up a feast for everyone, with sleek granite worktops, and a long, traditional dining table.

More formal dining can be found in the next room, perfect for a family occasion, and afterwards you can retire to one of the several living areas offering plenty of opportunity for everyone to find an area for themselves, with a bright and airy conservatory, ideal for morning coffee, a charming snug at the rear with a woodburning stove, perfect to snuggle in front of after a windswept coastal walk, and a welcoming sitting room with plenty of plush seating to sit and relax, perhaps watching a film on the Freeview TV.

Outside the garden welcomes you with a decked patio area and grass, leading to a further raised seating area with country views, as well as a covered bar room and the wonderful hot tub.

The bar room, with its glass windbreak screen, provides a superb social spot where you can enjoy a refreshing drink under the halogen heater and the twinkling fairy lights, and you won’t have to return to the house for the next drink as a wine chiller is sits in here for your convenience.

Head to sleep in one of the five lovely bedrooms, with one double bedroom on the ground floor, and four first-floor bedrooms, with the master king-size bedroom enjoying an en-suite bathroom.

The rear bedrooms benefit from beautiful country views that stretch to the sea, and the first-floor bathroom has been equipped with a corner bath so you can indulge in a relaxing soak after a busy day, while a shower room rests on the ground floor too.

Dine out in the nearby coastal village of Church Bay, where you can find an excellent seafood restaurant, along with many village pubs in the vicinity, the options are plentiful if you want to dine out.

Visit the beaches of Porth Trwyn and Porth Swtan when the weather is sunny for a fabulous beach day, or take a journey over to Holyhead where the idyllic shores of Trearddur Bay await you, with fine white sands and clear blue waters.

Further inland on Anglesey, you can find Llyn Alaw, a large reservoir perfect for incorporating into a country walk, with beautiful views over the waters.

This property is lovely.

We had a really wonderful time staying here. It was clean and well maintained throughout, in a lovely quiet location but just a short drive away from some gorgeous beaches and local conveniences. The property was larger than we needed and would be fantastic for a large group or couple of families holidaying together. The hot tub was a brilliant feature and the back garden was great for our two dogs and two kids to play in, fully enclosed and private from the neighbours. The TV isn't a smart TV, but we bought a hdmi cable and connected our laptop to stream from Netflix and Disney plus etc, only mentioning as a heads up to anyone wanting to access streaming services. We really didn't find any negatives, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would book again if we were staying in this area again in future. We also found the communication with the owners brilliant, they texted us a couple of times in the week to make sure all was well so we felt very reassured that if we had run into any problems we could reach out and let them know. Having a washing machine and tumble dryer in the property was a big bonus too, we washed a couple of loads before coming home and so didn't have a pile of laundry to bring back home with us. We would thoroughly recommend this property to others wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday in a beautiful area.

On arrival we communicated a few issues to the owner Simon who went out of his way to resolve all issues.

The property was comfortable and suited my families needs . We had another wonderful holiday on Anglesey and i wouldn't hesitate in booking Rhiangwyn next year. Highlight for the family was the hot tub!!!
