    “We loved our stay.”

    It was brilliant to have an enclosed garden that the kids could play in and the cottage itself is so full of history though at the same time very comfortable. We loved lighting a fire every night! The area right around the cottage is beautiful for little walks. It feels so secluded in the middle of a forest, whilst only being 6 minutes from Betws-Y-Coed and less thN 30 lin from Conwy. We would definitely come again! Two small things that I'd mention is that the bathtub was not completely clean ...

Two small things that I'd mention is that the bathtub was not completely clean (though everything else was), and the cabin had a bit of musty, dusty smell in all the rooms with a carpet, especially upstairs. The carpet seems quite old and worn and hard to get properly clean so I don't think I'd recommend this place for anyone who suffers from allergies until the carpet was changed everywhere.

Llanrwst 1 mile; Betws-y-Coed 3 miles. A superb, detached stone-built cottage situated in a truly idyllic woodland position on the edge of the Gwydir Forest and only 300 yards from Gwydir Castle, within the Snowdonia National Park.

The property enjoys over three hundred years of history and retains many original features including two foot thick stone walls, inglenook fireplaces and beamed ceilings.

More recently it has been sympathetically modernised to an exceptionally high standard and offers every modern comfort.

Visitors will also enjoy the sunny garden and the sound of nearby waterfalls.

Betws-y-Coed, with its many amenities, is three miles away.
