“Beautiful house in remarkable scenery.”

Well appointed and supplied. One little issue, for which the owners are not responsible, was that some crockery and cutlery had not been thoroughly cleaned by previous guests. It was soon remedied and didn't spoil our holiday.

“Had a fab time at Mountain View.”

It was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised with how well equipped the property was with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. It was in a great location, quiet and peaceful with comfy beds for a good night's sleep. It was just a short walk into Conwy town with easy access to numerous other seaside locations. The owner Dave was really helpful and always on hand to answer any questions we had. We would love to go back again in the near future, highly recommended.

“A real gem nestled in the countryside yet oh so close to the lovely town of Conwy.”

The cottage was just as described and even more perfect than anticipated. Within 10 minutes of arriving I could feel my soul breathe. The welcome pack was a lovely touch too. The owners are so welcoming. The garden is so private and well kept - and we arrived just in time for the 1st poppy to bloom and a total of 20 were in bloom by the day we left. Downstairs is light, airy and spacious and you can really spread out and just relax. The bi-fold doors across the back wall to the garden just let the light flood in and, if you're not in the garden, you can still watch the birds and squirrels. The kitchen has everything we could need and the large freezer is a real bonus. The wifi was fast and we didn't have any problems. The TV was Smart and could be linked up to your Netflix accounts etc. The two bedrooms upstairs were perfect and the two bathrooms just perfect. The upstairs balcony overlooking the garden and fields beyond was a superb suntrap - in hot weather ensure you have sunscreen - and so quiet apart from the trees gently rustling and birdsong. If you're lucky and have clear nights then stargazing is a real bonus especially if, like me, you want to practice some night sky photography. The Big Dipper was high overhead and bright. Can't recommend this cottage gem highly enough and we've already booked up to return. Conway is close enough and there's a large Tesco nearby. Anglesey is not that far - can recommend the Puffin bout trips from Beaumaris and we even went farther afield to Harlech and further down to watch the aircraft going through the Mach Loop. The cottage really is ideally placed and even if you don't want to do anything at all except just put your feet up - then it is perfect for that, too. It has lots of books, dvds, board games and jig-saw puzzles to keep anyone and everyone amused. We can't wait to return!

“Absolutely fabulous house, lovely quiet location a 5 minute drive from the centre of Conwy.”

The house is absolutely beautiful, everything is so perfect. It is very clean and tidy. We had the most wonderful stay. The garden in pretty and looks out to stunning views. Everything you need is included from board games, hand wash, dishwasher tablets. Comfy clean beds, each bedroom is decorated and styled so well, everything was just spot on for a weekend celebration for our mums 70th birthday. The hosts, especially Margaret is so nice and helpful and helped arrange birthday balloons and banner for the birthday celebration. Can not thank you enough. We had a weekend that we will never forget. The only negative thing was having to leave. We will be back for sure.

“We had such a lovely stay at Mountain View.”

It literally was a home from home and provided a very comfortable stay. The house is spacious and very well equipped One of the best holiday homes we have stayed it. The little touches were great, we particularly appreciated the flat sheets for the beds in addition to duvets in case the weather was warm and the torches on the back of the doors. The garden is beautiful and we loved the tranquility of the location but that we were close to Conwy. The only small gripe was the bath towels provided are incredibly small both for the adults and children so I would bring my own towels if I was to stay again and we absolutely would return should we visit Wales again in the future. “Lovely house with beautiful views.”

Everything we needed provided in kitchen. Well maintained garden. Toys,books and games galore. Unfortunately both couples found the beds uncomfortable especially the ensuite one. We were in the other room and are used to a king sized bed so felt cramped and the (carbon monoxide detector?) light which flashed every 30 seconds made it difficult to stay asleep. We left a day early because of this. Other than that we would have given it 5 stars.

It was however very difficult to find. Our directions from Sykes used road names but in fact there are no names to show the turnings off the Sychnant Pass. A couple of road signs to the property would be helpful for future clients.

“Beautiful property and location.”

Was spotlessly clean on arrival. Only slight hiccup ( was pre warned by the owner the week before) was building work going on next door which involved removing a fence panel and putting scaffolding in ' our' garden. The owner of next door, when he realised, was very apologetic. Not a huge problem as they weren't working every day, but hopefully the scaffolding is now down and peace restored. Other than that, lovely break in a beautiful location. The garden is gorgeous, and the house is spacious and the owner has thought of everything. Was a lovely welcome hamper and keys to the shed with much appreciated garden loungers . Would highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable holiday. The safe parking is a big bonus.

The domestic side, such as spare light bulbs and general instructions was catered for and well thought out. Stunning views from in and outside, pretty, well maintained garden and the parking area was very spacious with easy access. The cottage is in a good position for visiting Conwy and the wider area and we also enjoyed the walks locally from the cottage. Thank you.

We are accustomed to a high standard of home living and this property was up to our expectations: home from home! very pleased with our choice for a short break which we really needed to unwind and recharge our batteries. Thank you for the welcome note and welcome gifts: they do make a big difference. The regular email communications from Sykes was timely, helpful and appreciated. Very happy. The only reason we did not give top marks for cleanliness is because the cooker hood was greasy and dust on the tv and light fittings.

“A gorgeous property tucked away from the bustle.”

A beautiful, well kept and creative garden. We rarely get away together as a family so after saving up over a long period we had a lot of hope and money invested in this break. Mountain View had outstanding facilities and was perfectly located, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it short drive to Conwy town, a 20 minute drive from Llandudno attractions. The holiday was everything we'd hoped for. We were delighted by the garden furniture, including a covered bench from which to watch the dark roll in against the swooping of the bats. The only improvements possible would be a more generous offer of wood on arrival (it was £5 to top up the wood each time), an outdoor heater of some kind to allow for longer starlit evenings, more generous toilet roll provision (for the cost of the holiday, it seemed persnickety not to provide more). Having said that, the games and books were thoroughly enjoyed, the use of the Netflix account was a great addition, and having a utility room for the washing machine was a game-changer. We are ultimately really well rested and pleased with our experience, we would visit Mountain View again.

The balcony was a bonus and my daughter who has disabilities really enjoyed this space. The peace and quiet was restful, it let you relax and with comfy beds. The house was well equipped, you wanted for nothing! With the bi-fold doors at the back of the house it made you feel like the outside was inside and you were not overlooked. Our ages ranged from 11 to 69 and we all left there feeling despondent because we were going home. We cannot recommend this house enough!

This delightful, semi-detached country cottage is located a mile from the historic town of Conwy amidst rolling Welsh countryside.

Furnished to a high standard, and enjoying stunning views across open countryside, this Conwy cottage provides a wonderful base for any group.

This welcoming cottage near Conwy has three cosy bedrooms, two doubles on the first floor, one of which has an en-suite shower room, and one single on the ground floor, plus the light and airy open plan living area benefits from a woodburner and underfloor heating in the kitchen and dining area.

The well-equipped kitchen opens onto a pretty cottage garden with a small pond and glorious mountain views.

The first floor balcony provides far-reaching views across open fields, and full-length bi-fold doors run across the rear of the cottage to provide access to the fabulous garden.

This Conwy cottage has walks from the doorstep onto Sychnant Pass and surrounding areas, and is a mile from two excellent pubs.

This pretty cottage is located a mile from Conwy Castle, making it perfect for experiencing the town and harbour and exploring the medieval battlements, plus close by are excellent birdwatching opportunities at Conwy RSPB Reserve, Pensychnant Reserve, which is just a short walk away and Coastal Reserves.

Within easy driving distance are the Snowdonia National Park and the North Wales coastline with its beautiful sandy beaches and cliff top walks.

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage. Yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 - 87, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle, remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and great bow-shaped hall, was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is a perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep.
