beautiful house in remarkable scenery.

Well appointed and supplied. One little issue, for which the owners are not responsible, was that some crockery and cutlery had not been thoroughly cleaned by previous guests. It was soon remedied and didn't spoil our holiday.

Cottage was absolutely spotless and had everything we could possibly need as always.

Close to Conwy with walks from the house into Snowdonia. A friendly comment to the owners that some pillows and the mattress in the main bedroom need replacing to make this holiday home perfect!

My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the owners have thought of everything. Well situated for visiting places of interest and for walking. This was the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in by far, we hope to be able to book again in the future .

It was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised with how well equipped the property was with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. It was in a great location, quiet and peaceful with comfy beds for a good night's sleep. It was just a short walk into Conwy town with easy access to numerous other seaside locations. The owner Dave was really helpful and always on hand to answer any questions we had. We would love to go back again in the near future, highly recommended.

A real gem nestled in the countryside yet oh so close to the lovely town of Conwy.

The cottage was just as described and even more perfect than anticipated. Within 10 minutes of arriving I could feel my soul breathe. The welcome pack was a lovely touch too. The owners are so welcoming. The garden is so private and well kept - and we arrived just in time for the 1st poppy to bloom and a total of 20 were in bloom by the day we left. Downstairs is light, airy and spacious and you can really spread out and just relax. The bi-fold doors across the back wall to the garden just let the light flood in and, if you're not in the garden, you can still watch the birds and squirrels. The kitchen has everything we could need and the large freezer is a real bonus. The wifi was fast and we didn't have any problems. The TV was Smart and could be linked up to your Netflix accounts etc. The two bedrooms upstairs were perfect and the two bathrooms just perfect. The upstairs balcony overlooking the garden and fields beyond was a superb suntrap - in hot weather ensure you have sunscreen - and so quiet apart from the trees gently rustling and birdsong. If you're lucky and have clear nights then stargazing is a real bonus especially if, like me, you want to practice some night sky photography. The Big Dipper was high overhead and bright. Can't recommend this cottage gem highly enough and we've already booked up to return. Conway is close enough and there's a large Tesco nearby. Anglesey is not that far - can recommend the Puffin bout trips from Beaumaris and we even went farther afield to Harlech and further down to watch the aircraft going through the Mach Loop. The cottage really is ideally placed and even if you don't want to do anything at all except just put your feet up - then it is perfect for that, too. It has lots of books, dvds, board games and jig-saw puzzles to keep anyone and everyone amused. We can't wait to return!

This property is a perfect place to relax.

The house itself was faultless and had everything we required. We paid a little more this holiday than we normally would, but it was worth it. I would have no qualms about recommending this property.

Absolutely fabulous house, lovely quiet location a 5 minute drive from the centre of Conwy.

The house is absolutely beautiful, everything is so perfect. It is very clean and tidy. We had the most wonderful stay. The garden in pretty and looks out to stunning views. Everything you need is included from board games, hand wash, dishwasher tablets. Comfy clean beds, each bedroom is decorated and styled so well, everything was just spot on for a weekend celebration for our mums 70th birthday. The hosts, especially Margaret is so nice and helpful and helped arrange birthday balloons and banner for the birthday celebration. Can not thank you enough. We had a weekend that we will never forget. The only negative thing was having to leave. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful property in a picturesque part of Conwy.

It was very convenient for exploring the nearby area. Facilities, size and cleanliness are all exceptional. After leaving the owners also contacted us regarding some forgotten property and where to post it to - which was very appreciated.

We had such a lovely stay at Mountain View.

It literally was a home from home and provided a very comfortable stay. The house is spacious and very well equipped One of the best holiday homes we have stayed it. The little touches were great, we particularly appreciated the flat sheets for the beds in addition to duvets in case the weather was warm and the torches on the back of the doors. The garden is beautiful and we loved the tranquility of the location but that we were close to Conwy. The only small gripe was the bath towels provided are incredibly small both for the adults and children so I would bring my own towels if I was to stay again and we absolutely would return should we visit Wales again in the future. Lovely house with beautiful views.

Everything we needed provided in kitchen. Well maintained garden. Toys,books and games galore. Unfortunately both couples found the beds uncomfortable especially the ensuite one. We were in the other room and are used to a king sized bed so felt cramped and the (carbon monoxide detector?) light which flashed every 30 seconds made it difficult to stay asleep. We left a day early because of this. Other than that we would have given it 5 stars.

This is a super property in an ideal location extremely comfortable & well equipped would love to revisit anytime of year, We felt that the owners really respected & welcomed their guests from the goodies left to the helpful information pack .

A wonderful secluded spot with everything we could wish for in the house.

It was however very difficult to find. Our directions from Sykes used road names but in fact there are no names to show the turnings off the Sychnant Pass. A couple of road signs to the property would be helpful for future clients.

Stayed with friends at Mountain View.

The cottage is lovely and well equipped. The garden well cared for and framed by stunning scenery. A nice welcome pack with tasty treats was enjoyed by all. Would definitely book again.

We loved are stay at Mountain View so much we are going too book again soon, Had everything you could think of, and even for our 2 year old son there was a box of Toys with cars and dinosaurs, the garden is beautiful with amazing views, The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay and even leave a welcome box of goodies and milk and juice too.

It has first class fittings and fixtures. The area it is situated in is brilliant,with the views of openess to the countryside and backdrop of the mountains. It is also within easy access of many places to visit. A great place to spend a comfortable holiday.

The house is very clean and tidy and it is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and very useful. There are numerous books, games and puzzles provided. The WiFi is very good and there is an abundance of information in the house book and booklets provided. A beautiful property in a stunning setting.

The views from Mountain View are lovely and we were lucky enough to see some pretty sunsets over the hills. My husband loved that he could run in the local mountains right from the front door. The property is very well equipt and is centrally positioned for visiting all of the local attractions and sights. We would definitely recommend this property.

A wonderful house, in the most beautiful area.

The house is spacious, clean and everything you could ask for. WiFi not brilliant, more of a problem for my 10 year old than us, my only small gripe was I found the bed to be very uncomfortable. I would love to return to area and wouldn't think twice about using the Mountain view.

This is the best cottage we have ever stayed in.

There was nothing we wanted that was not there already, everything in the cottage was of a very high quality.

This was a beautiful property in a stunning location.

It is a large house with a pretty south/west facing garden. The pictures do not really do it justice. Fabulous kitchen and utility room and lovely entertaining/chill out space. The wood burner was a great addition. Bedrooms and bathrooms all large, spacious and modern. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful property and location.

Was spotlessly clean on arrival. Only slight hiccup ( was pre warned by the owner the week before) was building work going on next door which involved removing a fence panel and putting scaffolding in ' our' garden. The owner of next door, when he realised, was very apologetic. Not a huge problem as they weren't working every day, but hopefully the scaffolding is now down and peace restored. Other than that, lovely break in a beautiful location. The garden is gorgeous, and the house is spacious and the owner has thought of everything. Was a lovely welcome hamper and keys to the shed with much appreciated garden loungers . Would highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable holiday. The safe parking is a big bonus.

Quiet and peaceful location yet near enough to things not to feel remote.

Very comfortable and well equipped accomodation. Views from windows and beautiful garden very satisfying, and the log-burner for the evenings was just the icing on the cake.

The domestic side, such as spare light bulbs and general instructions was catered for and well thought out. Stunning views from in and outside, pretty, well maintained garden and the parking area was very spacious with easy access. The cottage is in a good position for visiting Conwy and the wider area and we also enjoyed the walks locally from the cottage. Thank you.

We are accustomed to a high standard of home living and this property was up to our expectations: home from home! very pleased with our choice for a short break which we really needed to unwind and recharge our batteries. Thank you for the welcome note and welcome gifts: they do make a big difference. The regular email communications from Sykes was timely, helpful and appreciated. Very happy. The only reason we did not give top marks for cleanliness is because the cooker hood was greasy and dust on the tv and light fittings.

Excellent home set in beautiful countryside.

Everything has been thought of to make our stay comfortable. This is our second time at the house and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Even though we were in the middle of coronavirus pandemic, we had a most enjoyable week and hope to be back sometime.

Lovely stay at Mountain View.

The house was beautiful. It has everything you could possibly need and more. So many lovely extra touches that you don’t always get from a holiday home. Didn’t want to leave!!

This was an excellent comfortable roomy cottage, with extras!

The superb setting helped; it felt private with stunning views, and total peace and quiet. My family kept saying that we’d hit the jackpot! The rooms were spacious, no details missed out on, fantastic kitchen and a surprise, a balcony, and a secluded garden. Easy to follow instructions, all helped us work things out.

We got together with family for a lovely Christmas visit.

A fabulous cottage, comfortable and very well equipped.

Ideally placed for the North Snowdonia National Park and Llandudno coast etc.

The cottage was excellent in every way - plenty of utensils, comfy beds, plenty of outside space and garden furniture in abundance.

The views were magnificent and we had the use of both a decent size patio as well as a lovely balcony to make the use of the beautiful views. We have been in some lovely cottages around the Country but I think this had to be our favourite.

A gorgeous property tucked away from the bustle.

A beautiful, well kept and creative garden. We rarely get away together as a family so after saving up over a long period we had a lot of hope and money invested in this break. Mountain View had outstanding facilities and was perfectly located, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it short drive to Conwy town, a 20 minute drive from Llandudno attractions. The holiday was everything we'd hoped for. We were delighted by the garden furniture, including a covered bench from which to watch the dark roll in against the swooping of the bats. The only improvements possible would be a more generous offer of wood on arrival (it was £5 to top up the wood each time), an outdoor heater of some kind to allow for longer starlit evenings, more generous toilet roll provision (for the cost of the holiday, it seemed persnickety not to provide more). Having said that, the games and books were thoroughly enjoyed, the use of the Netflix account was a great addition, and having a utility room for the washing machine was a game-changer. We are ultimately really well rested and pleased with our experience, we would visit Mountain View again.

Mountain View is a gorgeous house with pretty garden and wonderful mountain views, very peaceful and relaxing place.

It has everything you could possibly want and more. The only fault we had was the beds really need updating but may be some people prefer really soft mattresses. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Mountain View is one of the best self catering places we’ve ever stayed in.

Loads of space indoors, pretty little garden and amazing views. We had everything we could possibly need, there was even bird seed for the bird table! We had glorious weather and enjoyed the two short walks detailed in the information file. The owners have gone to great lengths to make sure everything is perfect for a self catering stay.

Beautiful comfortable cottage, everything finished to a high standard, spotlessly clean, beautiful scenery.

Mountain View is the best equipped cottage we have stayed in and whilst there is only one TV this is made up for with the abundance of books, games and jigsaws.

The scenery from the rear is spectacular and we loved watching the birds, the squirrel and the animals in the fields. The balcony is a lovely bonus. Everything about the cottage is comfortable and we were able to have a much needed rest.

The amazing views were the 'cream on the cake'. Lovely quiet location but close, 1 mile or so, to local shops and facilities in lovely town of Conwy. Great walking literally on the doorstep with more challenging 'high' walks a 20 to 30 minute drive away.
