The cottage was just as described and even more perfect than anticipated. Within 10 minutes of arriving I could feel my soul breathe. The welcome pack was a lovely touch too. The owners are so welcoming. The garden is so private and well kept - and we arrived just in time for the 1st poppy to bloom and a total of 20 were in bloom by the day we left. Downstairs is light, airy and spacious and you can really spread out and just relax. The bi-fold doors across the back wall to the garden just let the light flood in and, if you're not in the garden, you can still watch the birds and squirrels. The kitchen has everything we could need and the large freezer is a real bonus. The wifi was fast and we didn't have any problems. The TV was Smart and could be linked up to your Netflix accounts etc. The two bedrooms upstairs were perfect and the two bathrooms just perfect. The upstairs balcony overlooking the garden and fields beyond was a superb suntrap - in hot weather ensure you have sunscreen - and so quiet apart from the trees gently rustling and birdsong. If you're lucky and have clear nights then stargazing is a real bonus especially if, like me, you want to practice some night sky photography. The Big Dipper was high overhead and bright. Can't recommend this cottage gem highly enough and we've already booked up to return. Conway is close enough and there's a large Tesco nearby. Anglesey is not that far - can recommend the Puffin bout trips from Beaumaris and we even went farther afield to Harlech and further down to watch the aircraft going through the Mach Loop. The cottage really is ideally placed and even if you don't want to do anything at all except just put your feet up - then it is perfect for that, too. It has lots of books, dvds, board games and jig-saw puzzles to keep anyone and everyone amused. We can't wait to return!
