The Nook

We loved our stay in The Nook.

It was so clean, cosy and very well equipped with the essentials. Instructions on how to find it were really clear. We had a warm welcome from Sylvia and she was happy to answer my questions about the place and made it easy to arrange check in. The place itself is so picturesque and the view was beautiful. It’s a peaceful place full of wildlife and the perfect retreat. It is located in an ample spot to get to all the local attractions. We would definitely recommend it and will definitely book again in the future.

Lovely week enjoyed the nook

Accommodation was perfect and there were unexpected extras provided like towels, Even saw umbrellas but luckily they weren't needed!

Apart from some lack of TV reception the place was lovely.

The owner Sylvia greeted us upon arrival and welcomed us to ‘The Nook’ …the accommodation was lovely and had a great quirky shower room.

There was a well equipped kitchen/diner and large pleasant bedroom/sitting . room. The outside area was lovely with a pleasant patio and extra sunbathing area with patio table and chairs, and sun loungers, sun umbrella and barbecue. The woodland was on our doorstep and there were birds and woodland animals around. It was peaceful and relaxing.We’ve booked again in September.

Very peaceful location.

Off the beaten track, which means that the cottage is a little off the main road, but it`s worth the effort .

The Nook is a very comfortable and cozy place to stay, and very well appointed with everything you could need.

The bed is amazingly comfortable! It is located in such a beautiful area, the view out of the bedroom window is stunning. Although it is rural it is an easy drive to towns such as Llandudno and Conwy, but is also on the edge of Snowdonia so easy to explore there as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The Nook is so comfortable it's home from home.

It's in the perfect location for visiting different places such as Llandudno and Conway beach. The views are amazing from the Nook so it's very relaxing if you wanted to stay in. The lovely owners are on site which is good incase you needed them for any reason. We had a great time and will definitely be going back.

I spent a very comfortable week at The Nook.

The accommodation was clean and had everything I needed. It was in a peaceful location, ideally situated for hiking in the national park. I would definitely stay there again. Many thanks to Syvia & Frank.

Helpful host Nextdoor. Perhaps a little dated on the inside. And definitely do not take a low-car up the driveway!

What a gem.

Located in a lovely peaceful setting and excellent for touring around the beautiful area. Loved watching the birds, rabbits and squirrels on the doorstep. The Nook had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable and as for the bed, so comfortable. We certainly hope to visit The Nook again.

The most stress free, relaxing holiday I can ever remember having.

The Nook, inside was exactly as described, comfortable, very clean and tidy with all necessary fittings. Superb bathroom and most comfortable king size bed I've slept on on a holiday. Really quirky layout, which is exactly why we chose to stay there. Outside - magnificent views and garden and woods full of wildlife. Spent hours sitting outside at table watching fantastic display by birds at the bird tables., including woodpeckers, jays and to top it all buzzards flying above our heads. Wonderful!!

A perfect retreat space,warm,comfortable,well appointed and well and truly off the beaten track!

A beautiful few days,for either singles like me,or couples. Good to be on site with owners,yet private,and the perfect views across the valley! Thank you!

A little gem in a fantastic location with great views In the heart of North Wales in a quiet location yet handy for exploring everything.

The cottage was of an high standard , the facilities, cleanliness and the immaculate well kept gardens.The owners had worked hard and you could tell. We have been using Sykes for the last decade and stayed at many cottages and this ranks up there as one of the best. Thank you Sylvia & Frank for a wonderful stay

A beautiful, idyllic place to stay.

Slightly up a hillside with great views. Everything was provided in kitchen & bathroom I needed. Sylvia & Co. run this place perfectly. Amazing, would love to return to the Nook

The property was as pictured, it had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

The bed was incredibly comfortable! We would recommend to anyone and will be returning
