“Tyn y berth is a fantastic place to stay, as is Anglesey on the whole.”

Tyn y berth has everything you’ll need and is lovely and warm and cosy. The beds are very comfortable and we all loved the hot tub. The views are incredible from every window. It’s central to most activities we did, with nothing over 30 minutes away. Some lovely walks around the cottage along the coastal path, beaches around it are fantastic if you get a nice day for weather aswell. Would highly recommend this place.

Tyn Y Berth makes a wonderful stay for all the family; on the coast of Anglesey, it offers stunning views and an array of activities and attractions to enjoy in the local area and beyond.

You can be sure that this delightful detached cottage offers a homely feel as soon as you step through the front door.

Grab your bags from the car and head up the stairs to the three bedrooms, all decorated in stylish metallic colours and crisp white, these rooms offer a restful stay for all of the family.

Once you’ve unpacked, head down the stairs and into the kitchen to prepare an afternoon snack; following the elegant theme of the cottage, the kitchen makes a lovely area to prepare any meal you fancy when you’re not exploring the delicious restaurants of Anglesey.

Head into the sitting room for an evening of relaxation, fit with ample seating for all and snug open fire to light in the winter months, this room is truly the hub of the house where you can enjoy each other’s company over a board game or a film, or sit around the dining table to enjoy your home-cooked meal.

Outside you can find an inviting hot tub and lawned area, perfect for the dogs to get their exercise and for the children to play in whilst you’re getting ready for your fun-filled day ahead.

The snug makes the perfect spot to spend some time with your partner in the evenings, or head here with a good book and a chilled glass of wine to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area for some relaxing ‘me time’.

Take a stroll into your surrounding areas to enjoy the scenic views up close; the areas of Llanallgo and Moelfre host a wide array of historical landmarks, including the ancient ruins of Din Lligwy, the Lligwy Cromlech, and 12th century chapel of Capel Lligy, there’s plenty of heritage to explore right outside your doorstep.

On a warm summer’s day, the nearby pet friendly beach of Traeth Bychan makes a lovely spot to bring a picnic and soak the sun in on the sandy bays and is just 15 minutes walk away, with its own slip way for launching boats including the sailing club and is a great spot for hiring some gear for a kayak adventure after breakfast in the Beach shop and Cafe.

Just a short journey away you can find the bustling village of Benllech, with a selection of shops, beach front cafés and restaurants, its well-worth a trip if not only to get involved in some watersports on the glistening sandy beach.

Just over half an hour’s drive away you can find the popular tourist spot of Holy Head, the busiest UK Irish ferry port in the UK, here you can find beautiful boats and seaside scenery to match, or take a stroll along the breakwater Country Park to explore countryside views and nature with an audio tour and an open gallery to explore.

For a true adventure in Holyhead, the Holyhead Mountain (the highest mountain the county of Anglesey) offers a beautiful view, sloping down to the Irish Sea on two sides, there’s no better place to breathe in the fresh sea air.

Whether you enjoy a swift arf & some home made pub food at The Kinmel Arms, coffee and cake at Anns Pantry or Fish and Chips at the Coastal Cafe (recently voted Best Chip Shop on Anglesey) or a meal in the nearby Ty Dderw, there is plenty to choose from and all within 10 to 20 minute walk of Tyn Y Berth.

Tyn Y Berth is a wonderful property to bring the family on an action-packed holiday surrounded by fantastic scenery and activities for all to enjoy.
