A delightful place to stay.

Difficult to find so could do with hedge trimmed back and a clear sign. We did not use the hot tub but loved sitting on the patio watching the sheep and wildlife. Very peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Would definitely return.

Our second stay at Stabl, very comfortable even on wet and windy days.

Great for chilling out, easy walks from the house along quiet roads. We got to see lots of Buzzards, a large variety of other birds also. No shops close by so stock up on food / drinks. Would certainly recommend. Cheers, John & family

It is a lovely property, but as other reviewers have mentioned, it needs a bit more in-depth cleaning and maintenance, absolutely nothing major!

The property is well heated and comfortable, thank you to Daffyd!

Overall cleanliness good, but cobwebs found on closer inspection around ground floor bedroom ceiling and lounge standard lamp.

The door knob in the ground floor bedroom came off (this has been listed in a previous review and not repaired)

The house is very comfortable and homely.

We had a great stay despite the weather! For us, escaping the city to peace and quiet was ideal and if you want somewhere surrounded by country this location is great. You may need to stock up on supplies as its a fair distance from shops. I would like to see a grab rail to the downstairs shower room as it is handy for those with limited mobility. Otherwise perfect for us, we would certainly stay again. Cheers John & family.

Great location beautiful property with everything you need- home from home

Excellent property in a quiet and remote area.

Perfect for those craving peace and quiet with the occasional baa!

This property could easily be a 5 star.

It's in a great location. The beds are super comfy. Hot tub was heaven. It has everything you need. However, cleanliness and maintenance isn't great. Under the sofas and TV cabinet have not been sweeped for a long time. Food caddy wasn't checked and emptied. Air fryer wasn't checked to see if it had been used. Dishwasher left full. Door handles are loose throughout the house, these could be fixed in 10-15 with a screwdriver. A look at the guest book and other reviews shows I'm not the first to comment on this. However, even with the above observations I'd definitely stay again.

Although everything listed was present in the cottage and we enjoyed our stay it was marred by a lack of maintenance to some items.

. Most are easy fixes and too many to list but here are a few that come to mind..Door handles loose and in one case came apart when opening door., Curtain rails only just hanging onto there fixings. Handles on bedroom drawers with screws missing. Some bedside lamps not working and it wasn't the bulbs. Mould in upstairs shower cubicle, bath surround not secured. Temperature of hot tub some days was too low and after a while the pump made screeching noise and needed switching off for a while then on again.

We had an excellent stay in Stabl.

Couldn’t fault the cottage, everything had been thought of. Views from the hot tub were beautiful. Great to stay on a working farm. Could have watched the sheep all day not to mention all the wildlife, bats, birds of prey. By the end of our week we realised we had completely relaxed. We hope to return very soon.

very spacious well equipped property comfy beds, kids enjoyed hot tub and seeing the lambs and the many board games came in handy when weather was bad.

Brilliant cottage and a great host who quicky answered any questions.

On a lovely farmyard with sheep in the field nearby. Peaceful and can get easily travel to nearby villages. The hot tub was a bonus in the morning and afternoon sunshine.

We were with an elderly person with mobility issues so maybe some grab rails in the downstairs shower and a stool for such type of guest.

Lovely place to stay with great facilities and in a fabulous setting.

The information inside the property could do with a few updates, nothing major but they weren’t quite up to date. We loved the hot tub and the general decor of the property, and being surrounded by the cows and sheep in the fields was excellent.

Well maintained, peaceful .

Clean. Very spacious. Very comfortable beds. Hot tub perfect ,views lovely , switched off all lights and looked at the stars. Had a great time and honestly one of the nicest places we stayed. Definitely returning.

Excellent cottage and location cannot fault this listing. Owners always helpful yet not intrusive. This is one of the best listings on Sykes for this area, amazing dark skies if you like looking at the night sky if a clear night.

We stayed at the stabl from 27th October to 3rd November.

Dafydd and Dona met us on arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. The house was clean and comfortable and had a wonderful view, also everything we needed. Especially the hot tub. We will return next year DIOLCH Dafydd & Dona & family

We had a wonderful week here, the cottage was well equipped and spacious.

The views are lovely and the hot tub provided a relaxing end to a day.

This is a very spacious property, ideal for sociable get-togethers with family or friends.

It's very peaceful, surrounded by nature, and a good central location for exploring the whole of the Llyn peninsula, but you definitely need a vehicle. The upstairs bedrooms are huge and the kitchen is one of the best equipped we've stayed in. The hot tub was a much-appreciated extra. Donna & Daffyd were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. All together a great place to spend some time in Wales.

Wonderful family stay in a beautiful property.

This is certainly a place we would visit again and again. In the countryside of Wales, this property has stunning views over the local farmland with the hills in the background. Closely located to Abersoch, Pwllheli and Caernarfon (though all a short drive away) this property offers you a secluded and relaxing stay with the chance to visit the local seaside towns. Dona and Dafydd were great hosts. Dona helped to decorate the property ahead of our arrival, with banners and balloons, as our visit was to celebrate our dads 60th birthday. I was contacted in the days leading up to our stay to confirm arrival times and hot tub requirements. The property was exceptionally clean, and furnished to a very high standard. All kitchen appliances were available, as were a number of utensils meaning you had everything you needed for a self catered stay. During our stay, we had the pleasure of speaking to our hosts, and Dafydd was very happy to help provide information on the local area, suggesting places we could visit. Overall summary, great stay and will definitely be returning.

The Stabl was in a perfect rural location. Very quiet, lovely outlook and overall an excellent property which was very well equipped. It was nice to come back after a days walking and spend time in the hot tub. Hope to return and stay here again in this beautiful property.

This is a wonderful fully equipped cottage, it felt homely from the first night.

Any question were answered promptly and could not do more to help during our stay. We even got to see the little lambs. Would recommend and stay again if in the area. I think I stole their fairy liquid too!

This is our third stay at Stabl and it is just idyllic.

Dona and Dafydd go out of their way to make the stay as wonderful and comfortable as they can. This really is a home from home. We go just to chill and it is the perfect place to do this. It’s set in beautiful Welsh hills and on a working farm, where you get to meet some of its residents. We really enjoyed getting to meet some newborn lambs. Honestly can’t rate this stay any higher. We will definitely be back! Diolch!

Everything was perfect.

The beds were very comfy, the underfloor heating was great, we loved the hot tub and it was the perfect size for 5 adults, internet speed was great (something very uncommon in a rural area) and the smart TVs were great too. The offer to check out later than the usual time was very much appreciated and we would love to stay again!

It’s set in the beautiful welsh hills on a working farm. The sheep are happy to say hello! Beautiful inside and out. Comfortable, warm and had everything we need. Would 100% recommend.

Bedrooms very spacious . Kitchen well equipped. Bathrooms beautiful. Set in an idyllic peaceful surroundings of a working farm. The owners were fantastic. Very friendly very helpful and even allowed us to hold a lamb. Such an amazing experience. The whole weekend was just perfect. Highly recommended and definitely a must for a return visit. What a wonderful place to stay - perfect location - near to North and South beaches, quiet and peaceful with sheep in the field outside, but near enough to the town for shopping etc.

The accommodation is top quality, super clean, beautifully laid out, lovely and warm (the weather outside was dramatic and cold, windy, wet, sunshine, hail!!). But inside it was really cosy, but spacious. And despite the weather we enjoyed the wonderful hot tub every day - watching the wild life and looking over the hills to the sea. Dona and Dafydd were wonderful hosts, we couldn't have asked for more.

Lovely cottage in a very remote and peaceful location, hot tub was very relaxing and we felt very comfortable and warm in the cottage, which was appreciated due to the inclement weather.

It might be an idea to change the check in time in the winter months as it is quite hard to find in the dark especially as the Sat Nav is not exact which was kindly put in the directions for us before arriving. Would definately return if we return to the area.

The cottage was well equipped and had everything that we needed during our stay.

The beds were really comfortable and the 2 bathrooms suited us, due to 2 couples on holiday. The location was rural and there were many lanes to negotiate, but in saying that, it was a very peaceful holiday cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The hot tub was an added bonus and we did manage to use it on one occasion. We visited a number of places and we were well located to visit them all. We will definitely be returning and we have already recommended the cottage to our friends.

The cottage had everything you need for a self catered holiday. The cottage is in a great peaceful position and a great base for exploring the snowdonia national park and North Wales. We were so lucky with the weather with temperatures peaking at 30 degrees.

Spotless, every amenity you could ask for, high quality beds (so comfy!), lovely location and really enjoyed having the hot tub too. Would highly recommend, very comfortable stay, one of the best cottages we have been to.

The cottage was extremely well equipped & spotlessly clean.

We were met by the lovely owner who was very friendly & helpful. There was a generous array of welcoming gifts, plenty of tea & coffee with milk in the fridge. Along with a bottle of presseco & chocolates!! The hot tub was enjoyed by all & the complimentary robes & slippers were an added bonus. Our week was spent exploring the area & we found so many independent coffee shops & restaurants!!

Amazing relaxing cottage.

Beautifully decorated with all mod cons and the cherry on the top is the large, very warm hot tub.

Mr and Mrs Jones were a delightful helpful family nothing was too much trouble for them.

The hot tub was a great experience for our daughter who has ME ,we will be going back 10/10 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The cottage was really well equipped with all mod cons, flat screen TV's in every room, 2 king size beds and 2 single that turned into a king size that were really comfy.

The kitchen had every utensil you could need. Good size bathroom and downstairs shower room and bedroom if you had someone disabled. Excellent open plan living. WFI. Would deffo book this again. 15 mins to local supermarket (Asda) also a Tesco and Aldi a bit more of a distance away. Lovely bottle of Prosecco, welsh cakes and milk waiting when we arrived, nice touch. Down side if anything there weren't enough recycling boxes, we soon filled them up and had to put in the general waste big bin which is defeating the object.

A really beautifully presented scenic getaway.

My friends and I had a weekend away here and it was nothing short of perfect. The rooms were more than spacious and we found all of the essentials that we could possibly have needed. Everywhere was very clean and tidy when we arrived with fresh bedding and towels for us. The hot tub is a great addition to this quaint cottage, so much so that we sat it in whilst it rained and had a good time! The hosts, Dafydd and Dona were extremely hospitable and we wish we could have stayed longer! Overall, the cottage exceeded expectations given what we felt was fantastic value for money. Would recommend to anyone and everyone as the cottage provides suitable and accessible options for everyone to enjoy. Thank you so much, we hope to see you again soon!

Me and my partner can’t wait to book again at the stabl! Owners were so welcoming and wanted to make sure everything was spot on for our stay and the hot tub was perfect.

This cottage is wonderful.

The décor is lovely with every room equipped to a high standard and also a fabulous hot tub. There are monogrammed dressing gowns for everyone including age appropriate ones for the children! The cottage is on a working farm. The children fed lambs and had rides on the tractor. All in all a wonderful holiday that exceeded expectations.
