We had a very relaxed holiday in this comfortable cottage.

It is very well located and off road parking was excellent. Exploring the peninsula from here was easy given the great location. There was a friendly pub a few minutes walk away and a good restaurant in the Nanhoran Arms hotel. The beach was easily within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

Love Nefyn such a perfect location and a beautiful, comfortable, clean property. With a tasty chocolate cake on our arrival. We will definitely be returning this was our second time. For us it was lovely relaxing break just what we needed and more.. ♡

The house was clean and spacious, the king size bed was comfortable and the garden was nice with various chairs for catching the sun at different time.

The owner was also very responsive when we had questions. The beach and coast path is a short walk away so we didn’t need to move the car a couple of days. Plenty of good thick towels, loo roll, hand wash, washing up liquid etc which is nice when you arrive late. The only 2 reservation I have in recommending the place is the mattresses on the single beds would be ok for children but probably not supportive enough for adults and the heating is set at max of 20.5 degrees which made it difficult to dry wet clothing on the cooler rainy days. Neither would stop us booking the place again.

Beautiful home from home in a beautiful little town.

We have been to many places in North Wales over the years as we absolutely love it there. This was the first time to Nefyn & it was lovely, quiet & the beach was next level beautiful

This is a charming property, deceptively spacious with a lovely secure dog-friendly wrap around garden.

Bwthyn Defaid is clean, bright and well furnished with a particularly nice kitchen plus a utility. We found it a little difficult to locate originally but contacted the owner and she guided us to our destination! Definitely to be recommended.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and well kept. Had everything you needed including milk in the fridge and a very tasty chocolate cake.Secure garden which was great for our dogs.Beach was a short walk away and really beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

A perfect cosy base to explore such a beautiful area, our favourite part of Wales yet!

Everything you could need for a comfortable self catering holiday, with plenty of space. The secure garden gave peace of mind to let the dogs out. The property is in a perfect location to walk to Cwrw Llŷn or Tafarn Yr Heliwr both of which we thoroughly recommend too! We hope to return!

Lovely cottage.

Very spacious, great secure garden for the dogs. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Just a lovely place and we’d definitely return. Thank you for the milk and delicious lemon drizzle cake. Happy for this bit to be removed before publishing:- Couple of minor issues with doors, lounge and utility door both sticking and need a bit of strength to open, possibly an issue with children. Front door also a screw missing, hubby tightened it up but could do with looking at.

We loved this property.

Spacious , clean and close to amenities and the beaches were breathtaking. We loved our stay it was just what we needed and more. Will definitely return to this place and property. The chocolate cake was a lovely touch with cuppa on arrival after our journey. 10/10 all round Loved it ♡

Lovely property with lots of walks nearby.

Inside the cottage was beautiful and we had everything we needed.The owner replied very promptly when I sent her a question. Look forward staying there again in the near future.

A lovely property with modern decor, comfy clean beds, A secluded garden with plenty of seating to watch the Blackbirds eating the fallen apples :-) Roomy driveway but be aware when you step out of the car that local cats seem to be using the gravel as a toilet.

The neighbours are friendly. Great shower and bathroom. The kitchen has most things you'll need whilst on holiday, although saucepans and frying pans should be replaced. I think it's impractical to keep the rubbish bin in the utility room and also the kettle far away from the fridge when you have to reach for milk, but these can be moved easily and moved back when you leave. It was a bit cool some evenings and the heating didn't kick in and we discovered you had to call the owner for a code to put heating on higher than it was set. I know I could have rang the owner but I didn't think it was appropriate to bother her or myself unless something was really wrong. It would have been nice to have extra liners for the rubbish bins also some cleaning sprays for kitchen and bathroom. Maybe it's a policy now not to leave any cleaning items in holiday lets as there wasn't any in my sister's accommodation either. Some basic information about the house,area, shops and the refuse collection etc could be made available and maybe left on the dining table. Although Nefyn is a beautiful place it's quite hilly and with the limited parking on the beach it's not easy to get there (the beach) as the road down to there very steep. Unless you are reasonably fit it may prove difficult. The Maritime Museum is a wonderful place full of artefacts and personal stories, the ladies who were there when we went were very welcoming and informative. It's well worth a visit. A welcome gift of delicious chocolate cake and milk was most welcome. Thank you.

Really lovely holiday home in a quiet village with essential amenities close by.

Wrapped around mountains and a short stroll to the beach. Ideal for exploring local areas both on foot and via short drives in the car. Highly recommend

Clean, cozy and comfortable cottage with little touches like games/ playing cards, basics in the kitchen and a welcome chocolate cake making it even more welcoming. It would be nice to have some lamps in the living room as the spot lights are very bright.

A lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the lynn pennisula.

The cottage is spacious, comfortable and warm. Every thing you need is in the cottage.

This a lovely end of terrace house in Nefyn, its was warm and comfortable during my week in January.

The kitchen is large and well equipt. The woodburner is a great addition in the lounge, but the whole property is well heated with the radiators. The bath room is of a good size and the shower is large and really strong water flow. The side and rear garden is enclosed, perfect for doggos or childern! Would be a lovely place for couples or small famlies.

The accommodation was great.

Two small additions would make a difference. A potato masher and a measuring jug. Otherwise, faultless

This is the first time we had been to this area of Wales and we absolutely loved the area.

Short walk to the beach at Nefyn which the children and dogs enjoyed massively. The cottage was used as a base to explore the area, and we visited lots of places and got great memories. The cottage itself was really clean when we arrived and had some milk in the fridge and tea/ coffee to make a brew, which was great after a love drive. The enclosed garden is brilliant for the dogs and kids to play outside. The log burner was used every evening and was lovely to sit as a family in the large sitting room. Nice dining area which the kids used to colour and watch telly which gave us a break too! We will definitely use the cottage again, and can’t wait to revisit this part of Wales again.

Stayed for 2 nights 23rd and 24th October 2024.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean. All the rooms decorated to the highest standard. Decor beautiful. Perfectly placed near to amenities and beach. Large enclosed garden which Jack our Westie loved. Pam was so lovely and welcoming. Easy to contact and responded immediately. We all loved it! Myself, Husband, Son and my Mum and Jack the Westie. Extremely comfortable and highest specifications. Lovely jacuzzi bath and double shower. Lots of fluffy towels. Will definitely be back.

The house is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and village.

We have never stayed in a house that was so immaculately clean, beautiful!

Lucy our Welsh Terrier loved the freedom of the surrounding garden, and we were happy knowing that she was safe. Bethyn Defaid is a well equipped and spacious property. The Llyn is a beautiful part of Wales and with good weather it is hard to beat.

Lovely, spacious house (2 adults and 2 kids) with good appliances / facilities.

Short walk to the local pub and shops. Pam was very helpful and responsive when we contacted her. Beautiful beaches and walks in the area and lots to keep the kids busy.

We had a great week at Bwthyn Defaid, it's a really comfortable and charming cottage.

It was ideal for us a family of 4 with two teenagers who don't like sharing a room - the single bedrooms are almost identical, so no arguments over who had the best room! Our dog Joni loved the cottage too and enjoyed running around the secure back garden and also exploring the local beaches. Nefyn is a wonderful spot with beautiful sandy beaches and cliff top walks. It's also easy to get to places like Portmeirion and Caernarvon if you get tired of the Llyn Peninsula, as well as exploring Snowdonia, including a visit to Zip World! We would definitely return in the future.

The cottage and garden are lovely.

The owner left a chocolate cake which was nice but we were only left 4 teabags and 3 pieces on the kitchen roll which were disappointing My daughter came with our grandson for a couple of days and the owner kindly provided a high chair and travel cot. There isn’t much to do in Nefyn itself. We found some dog walks. The road to the beach is quite steep and access is better by car. There is a small Premier shop close by and a much bigger Spar shop and pharmacy a little further along the road. We drove into Pwhelli which is only 15 minutes by car. Lovely beach and plenty of shops. We also drove to Abersoch and Caernarfon

I tried to change the date of my holiday due to my husband being called away urgently but to no avail even though the week I requested was free.

So I went alone. The cottage itself was superb highest quality and cleanliness one of the best I have been to. I am extremely disappointed and upset that my request for a new date was not entertained and I had no chance to explain why.

A 10 minute walk from the most beautiful beach and a few minutes from fabulous coastal treks. We wanted a comfortable week of peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. The home made cake on arrival was a delicious treat and set the tone for our week. Thank you Bwthyn Defaid.

This cottage is lovely, very comfortable, cosy and peaceful with everything you would need, a gorgeous cake on arrival, the parking is also great.

We had a fabulous week with great beach/cliff walks from the cottage and some great places to visit in the local area with a nice welcoming local pub. I would certainly recommend Bwthyn Defaid one of the best cottages my partner and I have stayed in.

Generally, the house was as described but the parking area was rather small for more than two medium sized vehicles.

Contrary to the impression given in the description, there are no direct countryside views though the path to the coast is nearby and easily accessible, and offers good marine views, as well as those of the hilly backcloth to Nefyn.

This was one of the loveliest cottages we’ve stayed in.

It had lots of facilities( but please note no hair dryer , I hadn’t spotted the ‘no hairdryer’ icon in the details so it was my fault). Beautifully furnished, decorated and equipped with a lovely garden, great parking. I had a problem with the bed and the owner delivered bedding for one of the single beds which was firmer, even though it was her birthday! A lovely holiday cottage.

We struggled to find it on the directions but when we got there it was perfect.

A very clean well equipped cottage. A lovely cake, milk and tea/coffee on arrival. The only reason I've not put 5 stars is the beds are quite soft and for me I began to get a few back niggles.

Absolutely wonderful.

Very clean throughout and well equipped. The layout was lovely too nice to be able to shut the lounge off so we only really used that in the evening. The garden is brilliant and secure for our dog. The village itself is peaceful and well connected to many walks. We want to be there right now. We will be back The owner was also really helpful when I contacted her. Thank you.

I stay here with my parents and dog for a week.

We arrived to a immaculate cottage could not fault it. I had to contact the owner as we need more bedding as mum was not sleeping with dad as she had shoulder operation, within hour Pamela had dropped mor bedding off which was great. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed . Lots of room storage. My mum has high standards and she was really impressed. Beautiful area with lots of walks we know the area well but hadn't been for a while . Met lots of locals and they were friendly to . Definitely will be visiting in near future. We really enjoyed our stay weather was great too for February.

. thank you. This is a great place to explore the area..the cottage has everything you need, Nefyn now has a community pub which is open everyday and offers food but not pub food, and book in, 2courses for £18 great value for quality food. We will be back

Bwthyn Defaid is a lovely comfortable cottage in a perfect location for exploring the Llyn Peninsula

The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and it felt almost like being at home.

The garden was a lovely bonus where we were able to sit outside in the glorious sunshine on a couple of occasions. It was also very nice to have an owner who was contactable at all times, when we raised a couple of queries during our stay.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location.

However, the stairs are very steep and for people with young children it would benefit from stairgates. During too very wet days it also felt a bit cold. Also due to the steepness of the path the beach is better accessed by car, if you are elderly or have young children. Nevertheless we had a really lovely stay!

This is a lovely modern cottage set in the centre of the village in easy walking distance to the beach, hotels, brewery.

The cottage is spacious and feels like a home from home. Everything is included for a superb holiday. Ideal for visitors with dogs, especially with the side and back garden. Gardens lovely for sitting out in the nice weather. Great parking with room for 3 cars. Met the owner who was really nice and helpful. Think any problem would be quickly sorted out. Would definitely recommend this cottage for a relaxing holiday

We loved the house and garden.

We particularly wanted a garden secure for our dog and this ticked that box. We also wanted a quiet location which was great. Would definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay at Bewthyn Defaid.

The cottage is very well-equipped and in a nice quiet area. There were a few points that could be addressed : 1. New matresses are needed for the 2 single beds as the springs were sticking up. 2. We couldn't alter the central heating and there were some cold evenings. 3. The grill on the oven didn't work.

The property is superb,lots of space ,spotlessly clean .

huge kitchen & dining room with all the equipment needed. The shower is super powerful which is something we always like to have. All three bedrooms very light and lovely feel to them. We felt very comfortable in our weeks stay . The outdoor space was used extensively and gets the sun all day! Having coffee in the sun in the mornings through to several BBQs with sunsets . Nefyn is a great base to explore the fantastic lyn Peninsula with its Knock-out Views and top class beaches.& not with hoards of tourists!! Don’t miss booking this one it’s a real gem.

Excellent location, pristine condition would definitely use again

great cottage - well furnished and equipped, and garden genuinely secure (we have a dog so this is very important to us) some lovely touches too - the welcome cup cakes was a homely way to start our break excellent location too - walkable to local facilities, beach and coastal path we were delighted with it and had a wonderful holiday - thank you :)

Lovely little cottage and well located for walks on the coast.

The cottage was clean and had all the essentials. Compared to other places we have stayed in, the ‘welcome pack’ was minimal. Some more information would have helped eg about the recycling arrangement, instructions for using the log burner, a map of the village, etc. We found the DVD player was not plugged into the tv and no cable to do this so unable to watch the dvds we brought with us. We didn’t use the log burner, but if we had we’d have had to buy logs as only two logs supplied and no log store - if advertising a log burner we felt more than two logs should be supplied! Overall a lovely cottage - just a few frustrations.

I honestly didn't want to leave !

This was our first holiday with our 16 month border collie and this house was just perfect. It was spotless , stylish and so comfortable. The host had thought of everything. We couldn't have asked for more. Nefyn is very much my happy place and we will definitely be rebooking. Thank you so much .

Lovely place, very convenient for beach, recently decorated to high standard.

The only bad thing is the mattresses are uncomfortable. I'd recomend Emma mattresses as they are not too pricey, tough and don't have lumpy springs.
