A fabulous cottage with everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay.

It was extremely clean and very spacious. The kitchen was so well equipped, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom luxurious and the hot tub fabulous after a day walking. We also loved the beautiful garden and the peaceful location.

Haddef is spacious with high quality fixtures and fittings.

It is welcoming, bright and fresh, with everything you need for a happy, comfortable holiday. The knowledge that the owners could be reached, if required, gives peace of mind. The beautiful garden is a lovely haven, we sat in every day and the hot tub was very appreciated. It was a wonderful holiday for us, where we could totally relax, thanks to the owners, who had thought of everything.

On arrival for our 4 night stay, first impression was very warm and homely.

A bottle of Prosecco and some Welsh Cakes which we enjoyed Lots of books and games for use was excellent. A log burner and also electric storage heaters if you needed it. A very comfortable bed and quality bedding for a great night's sleep. Great walking shower and a deep bath too. Wonderful garden with various seating areas for your morning coffee. A beautiful kitchen which was very well equipped for cooking meals. We had a great time doing lots of walking straight from the door. Coastal Path there and back 6 mile walk to Ty Coch Inn is a must if you're able and obviously weather dependant too. The Llyn Peninsula is fabulous with so much to see and do, we'll definitely be back. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his round of golf at Morpha Nefyn. The Maritime Museum in the Church next to the property is also well worth a visit for the history of Nefyn too. We'd give the trip and property a 10/10. A beautiful house in an ideal location.

We stayed in late December and the house was very cosy and a great place to relax after a day of walking and exploring. The host was incredibly thoughtful and we appreciated the wine and bara brith. The property was very clean and had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We will look forward to returning. Diolch / Thank you

A wonderful place to stay!

The cottage is spotlessly clean as well as being really nicely furnished. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've had in holiday accommodation, as were the sofa and armchairs. Shower pressure was great, with oodles of hot water, and although we didn't use it, the bath looked huge! The kitchen is well equipped and the host kindly provided all the basics, as well as some lovely treats on arrival. Arriving to see the fire already set was a really nice touch and definitely appreciated given the storm warning during our stay. The hot tub is well screened with plants so felt very private and the upper garden would be lovely in better weather. Communication from the host was also excellent. This place deserves its 5 star rating.

The accommodation has parking right outside the front door and everything you need inside, all to a high standard and finish.Hot tub is good for when you get back from your travels.Local pub and chippy are 3 to 4 minutes walk.Would like to thank Gwynedd for a lovely holiday and given the chance would not hesitate in going back.

Wow, what a beautiful cottage.

The photos really do not do it justice. Spotlessly clean, charming and comfortable stay. We enjoyed having a pot of tea at the top of the garden each morning (thankful we had ok weather considering time of the year). The Prosecco, milk and bara brith cake were a lovely welcoming touch. The kitchen and bathroom were stunning. Gutted we didn’t use the log burner as I imagine it would have been so cosy in the living room with a book. Gwyn was a delight to communicate with, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful cottage for a nice quiet get away. We will definitely be back.

Haddef is a very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a convenient location, close to the centre of Nefyn with the popular pub just a short walk away.

There are great walks and lots of places to visit, most of them just a short drive away.

What an amazing place to stay.

The extra touches of milk Prosecco and Welsh cakes very much appreciated. The area is lovely and great to get out and about to see the amazing sights. We had a fantastic relaxing Easter weekend, the cottage was comfortable, clean and decorated to a very high standard, my husband wants to have the same kitchen and bathroom as it was his dream design.

The bed is very comfortable and has luxurious duvet and pillows. The shower is powerful and easy to use. The hot tub is great and we had a good day with blue sky where we relaxed in the hot tub in the sun after a walk along the coastal path. The beaches are fantastic and not too busy, toilets at every exit on our 10 mile walk. The views from the cottage are beautiful and the people of Nefyn are very friendly, and Gwyn is a great host, he is there on the end of a message if needed and he couldn't have done more, thanks very much for the delicious Welsh cakes and the prosecco, very welcome. We will return here in the not too distant future

Had everything we needed and more, the wood burner and hot tub were fantastic. Great pub and takeaway just a few minutes walk away. Perfect for a couples getaway and would love to stay again soon.

A perfect base to explore the Lleyn Peninsula. Some wonderful walks from the door of the cottage - no need to use the car at all! The beaches in the area are outstanding, and the people very welcoming.

Brilliant cosy cottage to stay in Nefyn with parking in front and lovely private back garden.

Kitchen had everything to make you feel at home (lots of Portmeirion kitchen ware to use) and paying extra for the hot tub was worth it. Large bathroom with bath and shower next to the bedroom. Location was very quiet and lots to do in Nefyn within walking distance. Stayed 7 nights and could have stayed longer!

Well equipped and comfortable. We did some great walks from the door and visited places within a short drive. Good local shops and pub.

Plenty of room for the two of us. All the fixtures and fittings were high quality. Bed and bedding very comfortable. Bathroom and shower were great. Kitchen very good with all appliances needed. Hot tub and garden ideal. Parking right outside the front.

Holiday home exceptional beautiful garden to sit in not over looked . The area the holiday home is in is very Quaint with a lot of character not commercialised . The people who live there very friendly and welcoming and will be happy to chat and tell you the best places to visit and walk . A beautiful place for a truly relaxing holiday . .

Lovely comfortable modern cottage and well planted garden with good sitting out areas.

Quiet yet convenient for shops and pubs plus the beach is near enough to walk to and has a nice cafe with sitting out area.

Having holidayed in Wales a lot but never got as far as the Lyn Peninsula this wonderful comfy cottage was perfectly situated to explore.

Beautiful beaches and lots of walking. First cottage we have stayed in that has a really comfy bed. Loved the wood burner and hot tub. Definitely recommend

Clean with everything that we needed provided

This is a beautiful property that we would thoroughly recommend for a couple.

It is very cosy and comfortable, well maintained with lovely features. The area is just as good, Nefyn has a community pub that we would recommend for food. The Llŷn brewery, 10-15 mins walk towards Morfa Nefyn, has a great atmosphere and beer. The coast is stunning and a walk along the Welsh Coastal route to the Tŷ Coch at Morfa Nefyn is a must, takes between 1 - 2 hours. For the more adventurous there is a 12km walk across the peninsula to Abersoch, however, I don’t know how you would get back. We took part of the route up to an Iron Age hill fort at Garn Boudan, quite a steep walk that took a couple of hours there and back. We also did a superb 12km circular walk from Aberdaron, about half an hour’s drive from Nefyn. There are also the towns of Carnarvon, Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Criccieth and Abersoch nearby with plenty of other things to do. We would also recommend Portmeirion, just beyond Porthmadog, but you will need to book. Altogether a wonderful break and we hope to return someday.

This is our second visit and once again, a wonderful holiday.

The cottage has every facility required. Very cosy, warm and clean. Plenty of places to visit. Lovely coastal walks. Not far to walk to Ty Coch Inn for a meal on the beach. The hot tub was an extra for us this year which was extremely enjoyable. Plenty of places to eat with shops close by.

Haddef is a lovely cottage, well equipped and was absolutely spotless.

It's in a quiet street in Nefyn well placed to explore Llyn and beyond. Easy to check in and out and good communication from the owner. The shower was powerful, the bed very comfortable and some thoughtful extras provided. We were unlucky as the hot tub was not working throughout our stay ..nobody's fault but would hope to get some financial recompense for this as this facility is reflected in the cost of the cottage booking . Other things to note there us no washing machine so description not quite accurate, not a problem on a short stay but others may be inconvenienced by this

Lovely cottage, near old Nefyn town church which is now a museum.

Everything you need, clean and comfortable, without being fussy or cluttered, an excellent home from home to sit out Storms Dudley and Eunice, warm and cosy, still able to use hot tub in sheltered garden, which was a bonus, also a wonderful place to gaze at the stars between breaks in the clouds. Great cliff and beach walks, + special walk to the little industrial estate to find the Cwrw Llyn brewery ***

We had a really wonderful stay at Haddef which had everything we needed as a home from home.

The bottle of bubbly, log burner and hot tub were a lovely addition and added that little extra luxury. Excellent communication from our host Gwyn and nothing was too much trouble. Would love to come back one day!

Had a brilliant stay in this superb little cottage.

Everything you could wish for was provided (except a washing machine due to an ongoing work project). The hot tub was a lovely luxury with a glass of the bubbly generously left for us. Excellent base to explore North Wales.

Real warm, comfortable and clean - an ideal base for walking the Wales Coastal Path.

Well situated cottage in a quiet area of Nefyn but close to the high Street, with a short walk to the beach and coastal paths.

Good area for golf too. Great for a couple, with extended fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area with patio doors opening onto a small paved, benched area great for alfresco eating. Enjoyed the holiday.

The cottage was comfortable having all the things you would need to have, the only thing missing was a washing line, but a clothes airer was provided.

Hand sanitiser and gloves were provided, if required. We did have a problem with the hot water, there wasn't any, but a quick phone call to the owner and he was there sorting it within 10 minutes, and no further problems occurred. The local area is great for walking, many mountain footpaths and coastal walks, clean sandy beaches nearby, does get busy though, ideal for sea bird and seal watchers from the nearby coastal cliff paths. Would recommend this cottage for a relaxing stay. We found a lot of the local attractions were closed, due to the covid 19 virus, but we were able to enjoy the outside area anyway.

Ideal cottage for a couple.

Lovely and clean and very well maintained. Managed to heat the house on a chilly winter weekend. Good base for walking the coastal path down past the golf course, stunning scenery. Bit tight to park anything bigger than a Qashqai outside if both neighbours are in.

This cottage is a Tardis.

It has a lovely feel when you walk through the door. No space is wasted. Welcoming lounge with comfy furnishings a wood burner for chilly evenings. Step into a huge well fitted kitchen, nicely presented, everything you need for your needs. Step into a secluded garden and enjoy the sunshine. Upstairs a lovely bedroom and bathroom with bath and large walk-in shower. The owner is at hand to help and more than happy to do so. Great Easter stay. Thank you

Haddef is a beautiful cottage ,very clean and comfortable.

The owner Gwyn had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable including the treats left for us on our arrival .We had a great time and would definitely recommend it as a lovely place to stay .Little touches of luxury and a log fire made it a great base for our holiday .The area is beautiful , mountains and sea and very peaceful .

The interior design, detail , execution of the work and the furnishings were exceptionally high and very much appreciated.

. The designer's hand was sure and effective and congratulations are in order. we spent a most enjoyable week here.

The local scenery is lovely and the holiday home was perfect, I would happily stay there again.

Lounge sofa and chair visually attractive but only moderately comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom superb. All in all an excellent cottage despite the lounge seating.

From walking through the front door everything had the wow factor it was a great place to stay.

The garden was an added bonus it was lovely to have a nice space to sit out in morning or evening. the bottle of Prosecco welsh cakes and milk were a lovely welcome.

Superb cottage in an ideal position if you wish to walk the Lleyn Peninsula Coastal Path by using the Coastal Bus Service.

Amazing quality of kitchen and bathroom for a holiday rental for 2 people. Also within easy driving for Snowdon etc. Not many facilities in village however.

Haddef is an absolutely delightful, spacious, beautiful cottage.

It is tastefully furnished with a luxurious bathroom and a large, well equipped, modern kitchen. It is set in lovely countryside, and is perfectly positioned for visiting the area and the fabulous beaches on the Llyn Peninsula, all of which are in very easy reach. Just a short walk takes you to Nefyn beach, Morfa Nefyn, and Porthdinllaen. The Ty Coch pub is also easily accessible, either across the beach, or via the golf course, and the coastal path is just stunning. Many other attractive villages, such as Aberdaron and Abersoch, are just a short car ride away. The Llyn Brewery in Nefyn is also definitely worth a visit. We particularly enjoyed our evenings relaxing in the lovely garden at Haddef, where we barbecued most nights. The views from the back of the cottage are beautiful. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. The owners did everything they could to make us welcome, and we are certainly intending to return again soon.

The property was 5 star quality.

The back garden was a peaceful setting for relaxation.aThe front room was a little dark with a street view only,only to be expected.Surounding area is stunning,good for walkers.The village lacks a good bar/inn/restaurant.The village seems to be ebbing away just as the herring and ship building industries have faded into the history books.Such a shame as the people are friendly and helpful.Havong transport to discover places of interest further afield is we feel essential.

A delightful cottage which had been modernised to a high standard.

Facilities in Nefyn itself were adequate but it was ideal for walking the beautiful Lllynpeninsular . We would recommend this cottage as a base.

What a wonderful cottage.

We did not choose this cottage originally but was one of the few cottages left for the dates required. What a cottage. Everything we required and more besides. We had a lovely two weeks in this cottage. Such a lovely welcome to a cosy cottage. During our stay we did not want for anything. Would definitely go again even if for only a few days.

This property is quite exceptional as the owners have gone to a great deal of trouble to convert this old cottage into a very special one not only for holiday accommodation, but could well provide a home to live in permanently given a tweak or two here & there.

The quality of the conversion is obvious , only the best of everything used, no expense spared. Thoughtfully left milk,Welsh cakes & prosecco too! Heating & hot water easy to operate & use, in addition to the log burner with sticks & logs provided ( we did not use this this week as the weather was so mild !) Fully recommended 5 stars!

Cottage was first class like home from home, especially enjoyed the welcome pack, the owners kept in contact by text, enjoyed a visit to Portmierian, lots to do within a short distance, stunning scenery even though the weather was mixed we managed lots of walks .

The original cottage we booked through Sykes was cancelled at short notice due to a broken boiler however both the owners of the cottage and Sykes were excellent at accommodating us. We had a wonderful break.

confirmation of the booking went into my spam rather that as an email so I had to chase this by phone calls a couple of times before this was realised .

The cottage was fabulous perfect for us to have a weeks break by the sea. The owner was extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble . We will definitely return to Haddef.

From the moment I saw 'Haddef' on the website I had a very good feeling about it and this feeling got better when speaking to the owner before arrival who was so helpful.

Sometimes your hopes are not realised but this was not the case with 'Haddef'. When we arrived we found the cottage was beautiful. It was tastefully decorated and finished to a very high standard. It was so clean it felt brand new, as though we were the first people to stay there. I doubt there are many homes as well stocked as 'Haddef'. What was really nice were the extra little touches the owner provided - a pint of milk in the fridge, fresh flowers in the vase, a bottle of welcoming bubbly and complimentary tickets to a local attraction. Really thoughtful and got our holiday off to a great start. 'Haddef' is situated in a beautiful part of North Wales and stunning views and scenery are on your doorstep. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and have had the most amazing holiday. We will be leaving with heavy hearts. I cannot rate 'Haddef' highly enough, the owners have done a marvellous job and should be very proud. Thank you very much.

Nothing was too much trouble and everything had been thought of to make our stay comfortable. Exceptionally clean - also the fresh flowers and prosecco welcome drink added a special touch.

A beautiful, tastefully decorated and furnished cottage, home from home.

The owners where very helpful and thoughtful. The location was quiet and relaxing, nice views from the kitchen and garden area over the hilly landscape. Two local shops, the Spa was well stocked. We managed to visit a lot of the beautiful beaches on the Llyn Pennisula and do some of the easy stretches of the coastal walks, including Criccieth, Aberdaron, Whistling Sands, Porthole Colmon and of course the beautiful Nefyn Beach, didn't get to Moerfa Nefyn no road access. The Airworld Museum was a very nice surprise doesn't look much from the outside but it's Dr Who's tardis of aviation memorabilia and some moving heroic stories. Nice Cafe further down the front from the museum, The Coffee Cafe, all fresh produce we called in for a breakfast on our way home, it was well worth the tiny detour, try the popcorn ice cream

This property was an excellent base to explore North Wales.

Brilliant small cottage with a modern, total refurbishment that is finished to a high standard and well equipped in every way.

Property owners were always on hand to help, if needed, and gracious and attentive. A really thoughtfully done property with great facilities, and pretty much perfect for 2 people. It would be hard to imagine a property being any better. Sykes Cottages were also excellent to deal with and equally attentive and helpful.
