Accommodation did not mention outside furniture, which we used a lot.

It's a WOW again, this is our second time here and it's still mind blowing, very clean when you arrive, what a fabulous house in a great location.

The Elberry is the most perfect holiday accommodation, situated in beautiful countryside just a short drive from the stunning Newborough beach.

The modern, spacious house was immaculately clean & decorated & equipped to a very high standard, & the large, enclosed garden was perfect for outdoor games & barbecues, My family had a wonderful holiday in Anglesey & we’re already planning to book The Elberry for next Summer.

A lovely spacious cottage with light airy rooms.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A well equipped kitchen and ample room for everyone around the dining table. A great location for accessing the coastal scenery and other attractions. Pub and tapas eatery in Newborough very good.

Great place to stay had a lovely family break over new year.

6 adults, 1 child & a dog. Very roomy, didn't feel on top of each other, 2 large tvs so no arguing! & facilities very good with everything you need to self cater, if you want to! Minor issue which was seen to extremely quickly. Secure garden for the dog. Our only gripe was the hoover appeared to be full, put more stuff back onto carpet than it picked up, & couldn't empty it. Fantastic stay highly recommend & would definitely return.

Second visit to The Elberry and did not disappoint.

Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of seating everywhere. Cosy with lots of hot water if required. Peaceful outside with great views to Malltraeth. Will stay again. Note to Sykes…. those useless Henry hoovers that companies like yours supply, need scrapping. Always need emptying and have as much suction power as a 90 year old with emphysema

Beautiful home.

Has everything you need. Property is on a main road. Before you leave all beds must be stripped and towels put in washing bag. All floors ieft clean.

Our stay at The Elberry was wonderful, the listing welll described this beautiful house.

We are a family of 5 plus a toddler and our dog, had plenty of space with a massive lounge, large kitchen and dining area and lovely bedrooms with very comfy beds. The kitchen was was ideal as we cooked most meals, the extra fridge (and freezer) was a great idea so we could stock up for the week. We had good weather so the little one could play outside and go see the local farm animals. The Elberry was very well located a mile or so outside Newborough village with a nice pub and a very good village shop. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely book again. Highly recommend

Our stay at the elberry was probably the best self catering holidays we have ever had.

The property was superb with everything we needed for our stay.Added bonus was the totally enclosed large garden with outside seating and a barbeque.The house is in an ideal position for exploring the island of anglesy especially the newborough forest and beach area where we spent most of our holiday with our spaniel molly.

Excellent facility.

Spotless and very well equipped.High quality furnishings throughout including the garden furniture. The one thing that would make this property even better would be to have a hot tub on the patio. The photographs on the website do not give it justice. Some tiny things like the lack of a full length mirror in the bedrooms and from a safety point of view an outdoor handrail would be beneficial. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is one of the nicest property's we've stayed at, very clean and very comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay here.

We arrived to a nice card and gifts that were a lovely touch. The owners have put a lot of thought into providing everything you need for your stay and the whole house was spotlessly clean. Unfortunately we had pretty bad weather for most of our week here so didn’t get to use the lovely outdoor facilities but the great amount of space inside meant that we still really enjoyed our stay and never felt cooped up or on top of each other. If you stay here you need to be prepared to travel a bit for supermarkets etc but we really enjoyed the quiet location and so didn’t mind that. We fully intend on booking again for next year and have all our fingers crossed for better weather so hopefully we can enjoy more of the local area as well as this fantastic house.

Lovely property met all our needs and in a good location for visiting all the island.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The house had everything we needed; so clean, spacious and comfortable. The children were occupied with the football pitch and the big tv in the kitchen while the adults were relaxing on the outdoor furniture or catching up in the lounge. Beds were very comfortable too. We’re missing it already!

We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and The Elberry is up there with the best.

We found the house spotless, well-equipped and a perfect location for some relaxation. The garden is perfect for catching a bit of sun. Very happy customers!

Wonderful house in a beautiful setting.

Spacious living areas ,excellent kitchen ,bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything to a very high standard and spotless. Only thing I would say is you need a car because the house is more than a short stroll to shops and beaches etc but this does not detract from it being an all round great property.

Our 3rd time in this amazing house and it never dissapoints.

The whole family love this house including the dog the outdoor space is perfect for her and she is safe. My boys love the astroturf and goal. This house has everything you need for an amazing holiday. If you are thinking of booking you wont regret it.

The two en suite bedrooms are fantastic, would highly recommend this property to any large family, or even two families, as they would not be on top of each other, as for location, it could not be any better, short drive to Pentre Berw, and Gaerwen, on to A55, opposite direction is stones throw into Newborough. All in all we had a great holiday, and again would absolutely recommend

This is our second time staying at the gorgeous Elberry! Excellent property, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Well situated to access the facilities of the Island. For dog owners Traeth Llanddwyn and Newborough Forest offer, in our opinion, an excellent facility in a stunning location. Again many thanks and we would HIGHLY recommend the property. A safe, enclosed place for children and our small dogs. Very good parking area. Owners very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Some local footpaths not accessible. Great holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elberry.

There isn't anything one thing to pick on apart from the beds that were so comfortable. The owners have not scrimped on providing you with a very modern house to enjoy your stay or holiday. We have stayed in a lot of cottages and houses over the years and this one is right up there with the best. Thank you for having us and hopefully one day we will return.

We had a really lovely week in Anglesey and the house was brilliant.

Lovely and warm, excellent heating and we made good use of the log burner. The bedrooms were all comfortable and I particularly liked the reclining sofas. The garden was perfect for our dogs to have a play in and great that it was all secure so there was no need to worry. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We would definitely recommend to others and I’m sure we will be back. Thanks for a lovely place to stay.

Nothing to complain about with this property.

Great space for us to have a weekend away with friends, something for everyone. The footballs and nets were an added little surprise for our littlest guest… the dog loved the balls as well. We booked for 3 nights (Fri - mon) but left the Sunday evening due to work commitments, it’s was great though not having to do an up and out on Monday morning. We ventured out to Zip World, it’s about half an hours drive from the house. Enjoyed a couple of walks on the beach as well. We just enjoyed chilling in the house which was perfect for us.

This holiday home is amazing.

Had the wow factor as soon as we drove into the drive. Absolutely stunning. Had everything you needed,and more,and was spotlessly clean throughout. We had an amazing stay,and Katy and Martin were superb throughout our stay. It was so perfect, we have already booked again :). Would highly reccomend. 5 *****

Beautiful property few mins from the stunning Llandwyn beach.

Property manager so helpful and friendly and answered all questions before we arrived. Property had absolutely everything we needed to self cater for a week and it was easy for Waitrose on the island to deliver all we needed. My boys especially loved the football net and balls provided in the garden! Thanks so much Katy x

A lovely house to stay in, very spacious and comfortable.

Would have been good to have a table and chairs on the terrace but apart from that minor niggle, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very convenient location too, handy for the beach at Newborough.

Great property well maintained great garden

Overall a very nice stay/place and would recommend but pet friendly only applies to the ground floor and the beach shown in photos is a short drive away - unfortunately the week we were there the road to the main car parks was shut for repairs.

The other free car parks are fine but very small and a reasonable walk to get to the beach.

Spotlessly clean throughout.

Hygiene is obviously top priority with this property. Very dog friendly with dog beds provided and even doggie treats! Garden is mainly gravel with a patch of astro turf which is obviously low maintenance and easy to keep clean. There is a dog kennel outside too which again reflects how dog friendly this property is. About 15 minutes drive to the spectacular beach, sand dunes and forest.

It was like home from home. So warm and comfortable and superbly equipped. We couldn't fault it in any way. The grandchildren loved the space inside, the outdoor area was safe and we all enjoyed games on the lawn area. Even our dogs were made to feel welcome with beds, blankets, water bowl and dog treats provided. We have already shared the link for this property with our friends. This is one of the best cottages I've stayed in.

Very clean. Excellent layout and space. Really comfortable and everything you need! Would highly recommend. We had a such a lovely stay. I never stay at the same cottage twice but this could be the exception! It's better than the photos.

Beautiful cottage with everything we needed for a family holiday.

The beds were so comfy and the cottage really warm. The play area at the back was perfect for the grandchildren to play on their bikes. Great location for getting around Angelsey. Would highly recommend.

All gradings are in the context of a holiday cottage for which The Elberry, among many other holiday cottages experienced over 4 decades, ranks among the very best for its accommodation, particularly the range and quality of fixtures and fittings including white goods and house linen, its pet friendliness and also, last but certainly not least, its fantastic location in the southern part of the Island of Anglesy off the NW coast of Wales.

Walking (usually with dogs) along Llanddwyn beach early in the morning (especially with the sun rising) and looking across the Menai Strait at the Snowdonian range of mountains (with some rain clouds hovering sometimes) is magical. The Elberry and area will have something for young and old, teenagers and pensioners and families coming together again.

Spotlessly clean, facilities excellent like being home from home so that’s a good recommendation Plenty of storage and excellent facilities made the cottage and we had last year look totally inadequate Closed garden ideal for my young grandson and his small dog Just a couple of small points to the owner, I would supply table mats for the dining room to protect your wooden table top from hot plates, and clothes hook on the bathroom and en-suite doors for hanging clothes when showering would be useful But only suggestions, as all our party thought this was a perfect cottage Of the numerous cottages we have rented from Sykes this was by far the best and hope to return soon

What a fantastic way to spend a week with the family!

We booked The Elberry for 6 adults, 2 small children and an infant. It was really easy to make arrangements for a child gate and highchair just a couple of days before our stay. The owner even went out of their way and bought a small blender for us to use to get some hidden veggies into the kids' meals less than 24 hours before our arrival! Worded directions brought us right the front door although the what.three.words took us to a nearby field! The property is in impeccable condition, with all modern, light furnishings. The welcome pack with cake and prosecco was a lovely surprise and enjoyed by all! You could smell the newness and it was fab! Fantastic there were two fridges and a freezer - plenty of space for food storage throughout the week. The garden space is lovely and open, and the footballs and goal were a welcome gift for the kids to play in. Lovely kitchen / dining space with a lovely big oven - perfect for the large family meals that were being cooked. We came with extra tea bags / toilet roll / condiments but needn't have worried as this was already covered. The bedrooms were super comfy and fabulous black out blinds and curtains on the windows and sky lights. Great location to some of Anglesey's treasures such as Newborough Forest and Beach and close enough to the A5/55 for ventures further afield. We all loved the property so much my parents have booked a return stay in November - where the log burner will be used I'm sure! Great that the owners will be installing a car charging point over the coming year, making The Elberry and Anglesey even more accessible for electric car owners. We will definitely be back!

We had such a lovely stay at The Elbury, it was comfortable, well equipped, spacious and the Grandchildren loved the swingball and football goal, apologies to the neighbour for ball retrieval, and thank you for putting lights on wall for them to play in dark, it really was home from home

The house is stunning and offers everything you need for a relaxing break away. The outside area that’s not really shown is a massive plus, it was safe and secure for our little pooch.

A very comfortable, well appointed house with all the facilities we needed as a group of 5 ladies doing a sewing "retreat" long weekend.

The house was a little bit more isolated than we had imagined but we were able to cater for ourselves. The only point we would raise is that there should be a photo of the twin bedded room on the website as it is quite a tight space for two adults. Also a clear map of the last half mile of the route to the house would have been useful as even with sat nav and the instructions given it was not easy to find.

It was very clean and warm and the owners had thought of everything even the dog things were very much appreciated. Going on holiday in February is always a bit risky but the house amenities and comfort made up for the inclement weather. If I was being picky (which I'm not) a shower in the large master bedroom would have been the icing on the cake. We would definitely book again. Thanks

You know a place is great when on the first evening you are looking for the next time you can go! I have never felt so relaxed and at home in a holiday property. This place is just gorgeous and has everything. Even a dog bed - much loved by our whippet! Can't wait to return - this place has got everything. The holiday cottage was amazing everything you could possibly need.

Furnished to a high standard. Although we didn’t take children the Astro turf football pitch was a great idea. Could fault it at all will definitely be returning. Only a note but not a complaint the family bathroom was gorgeous but a shower over the bath would have been a bonus.

Really spacious and well equipped cottage providing everything we needed for our family party of 8 plus dog.

The living areas and bedrooms are all very comfortable and provide really good places to sit and relax. The outside is very spacious and gave the granddaughter and dog lots of space to play. Despite it being cold, as it was November, the garden is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the winter sun. It would be fantastic in the summer with the barbecue going! The cottage is ideally situated to be able to visit all the island with Newborough National Nature Reserve and Forest only a few minutes away well worth a visit. The Codmother in the village has excellent fish and chips whilst the Pier House Cafe and Bistro in Beaumaris served excellent seafood. Shopping at the nearby Hooten’s farm shop provided excellent quality produce. Would highly recommend this property.

My husband & I and our female cockerpoo Darcie, spent a week at The Elberry.

Our daughter, son in law and two grandsons Lewis & George joined us for the weekend, to celebrate Lewis's 15th birthday.The boys loved the artificial turf football area & optional disco lights in the lounge ! Darcie was also well catered for, ie doggy bed, blanket, even a gift wrapped bonio biscuit ! She loved her walks down the lane and her 1st trip to the beach at Rosniegr. The property was spacious, very comfortable( especially the sofas and beds),well furnished,had great powerful showers & provided everything we needed for such an enjoyable stay. Also the welcome pack, including,( as well as Darcie's treat,) a bottle of prosecco & fruit cake for ourselves, was very much appreciated.We would not hesitate to return to and to recommend, this property and can also reccomend, to any Elberry visitors, ' Ye old Bulls Head ' in Beaumaris, Darcie was allowed in the bar while we had a coffe and although she was not allowed in the brasserie,we returned after a walk, for lunch on a covered and heated dog friendly patio where we enjoyed delicious fish & chips,with drinks and great service.
