“The cottage was an ideal base for our Anglesey short break.”

The facilities and cleanliness were excellent and welcome pack was the best we've seen! However there were a few niggles that could be improved - the beds in 2nd bedroom are only 2'6" wide, therefore only suitable for children, so unfortunately resulted in 2 ladies not sleeping well. Added to that, there was a lot of noise from the adjoining apartment between 10pm and 8am which kept us all awake ( sounded like children running around way after their bed time!) - so perhaps there should be some ...

The facilities and cleanliness were excellent and welcome pack was the best we've seen! However there were a few niggles that could be improved - the beds in 2nd bedroom are only 2'6" wide, therefore only suitable for children, so unfortunately resulted in 2 ladies not sleeping well. Added to that, there was a lot of noise from the adjoining apartment between 10pm and 8am which kept us all awake ( sounded like children running around way after their bed time!) - so perhaps there should be some sort of soundproofing? The fact that we are three ladies who don't do late nights meant that it was a problem for us, and (in addition to the small beds) means we would not stay again. Perhaps the description should be adjusted? The cottage has been beautifully modernised - it's a shame that we had a few issues. There was also no reception for normal TV channels during our stay which might be a nuisance for some. Having highlighted all this, we enjoyed our mini break despite our issues!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re really glad you enjoyed your break & appreciated the welcome pack, cleanliness & facilities — we do try to make guests feel at home. Just to clarify, the second bedroom has standard UK single beds, they may feel smaller due to the room size & they are zip link beds allowing for a king size for those who want this option, they are not children’s beds. We’re sorry to hear that there was some noise, we don’t have control over what others do and the property does have soundproofing however sound can travel through vents or open windows, especially if there are lots of guests nearby, this kind of feedback is very unusual. The TV reception can be patchy in parts of the cottage due to the thick stone walls even with an aerial, however there are plenty of on-demand tv, movie & series options available. We do really appreciate your comments and will take them on board. Thanks again for staying with us. Property Owner
