Bay View House

What a beautiful house .

very comfortable and clean and everything we needed. Views are stunning. Would love to stay again.

First class accommodation, Great location for visiting North Wales coastal Resorts/ Area.

Second stay at Bay View House.

This is one of the cleanest if not the cleanest self catering accommodation we have stayed in.

Could not fault it at all. The only thing I would say is that a small freezer would have been handy just a table top one in the garage would be enough. It is near to everywhere and when I had a problem with the shower Sian had her husband come straight out as she was out of town. I have never given anywhere 5 stars before but Bay View House deserves it.

A very comfortable cottage with a magnificent view over the bay.

Spotless upon arrival. Very well placed for shops (5 mins walk to Aldi, although uphill back!), and the sea front. Well placed for visiting North Wales. Highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely week bay view house was very relaxing very clean and tidy thank you for everything

Bay view house is a lovely property in a good location with great view of Colwyn bay.

Comfortable and cosy. Lovely decor, very good beds and so peaceful. Everything you would need for a pleasant stay. Would have given 5 stars if it was dog friendly, as Colwyn Bay is very popular with dog owners. Dog friendly beaches, dog friendly pubs. My boy would have loved it here. Highly recommended.

Views are amazing love the sunset Very homely and comfortable

Cleanest house we’ve ever stayed in with great attention to detail throughout.

Great location for surrounding area with a supermarket just down the road for convenience. Roomy house with a lovely outdoor space, the only downside and reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is proximity to the main road that caused excessive noise.

This is our second stay and we were not disappointed the house was spotless and very inviting with everything we needed its location is ideal for all that north wales has to offer we will book again to stay here again

Very well appointed clean and tidy little house with everything you need for a little break.

Fab view of the sea and good access to local amenities.

I had a wonderful time at a fantastic house in a brilliant location.

The check in instructions and communication was very clear, easy and helpful. The owners leave you to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful time but are very friendly and contactable if needed. The house is set just outside Colwyn Bay centre with an easy and quick route whatever method of travel. It is a great central base to explore all over North Wales. The property is immaculately prepared and cleaned. Great care has gone into making the house accommodating for guests. The kind cake and milk left for me was much appreciated and enjoyed. The house is massively spacious. The huge Smart TV in the lounge is fantastic. Powerful hot shower and instant heating make winter stays easy and enjoyable. The bed is extremely comfortable. Fully fitted kitchen for short or longer stays. It’s located on a quiet street in a nice neighbourhood. There is a brilliant parking space on the driveway of the house. The real highlight for me was the stunning views out to sea and around the coastline making the stay extra special. As the house is slightly raised you have a magnificent view down and over and it was a pleasure to wake up to and eat meals whilst looking out. I would love to come back again in the near future as testament to the enjoyment of my first stay.

The drive being very steep and narrow was not possible for our car to use.

We found the settee rather low and the double bed small and low. Otherwise the property was lovely and the views amazing!

Bayview cottage is beautiful there's a lovely garden summerhouse to enjoy the scenery looking over colwyn and rhos on sea.

The cottage inside is flawless bright clean fresh and comfortable. It's a great location and I have enjoyed my time here in colwyn very much, looking forward to the next time. Richard

This cottage was amazing.

Compact but spacious and ideal for walking/ touring North Wales. Although near a busy road traffic noise was not an issue as the double glazing was very good. Fantastic views over to Rhos on sea. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and although it was cold on arrival (January) it soon warmed up due to efficient central heating. There is parking off road on the drive for one car but it is a tricky drive and steep, towards the end of the week I had cracked it!

The house was well presented decorated for Christmas as stated by the owner.

we had a small issue with the cooker and we contacted the owner who was more than helpful, problem was sorted and we had a fabulous week in colwyn bay, highly recommended.

Another weeks stay at Bay View House and most comfortable once again.

We'd almost forgotten how stunning ths property's panoramic outlook is. Everything you could wish for in a lovely property with a great location for North Wales. Many Thanks 5.0 stars

Had a wonderful stay at Bay View ha ving stayed at a lot of cottages in Wales Bay View was certainly one of the best everything needed for a relaxing stay was provided can not fault anything will certainly stay again if possible in the near future

We had a great time at Bay View House in Colwyn Bay A lovely comfortable, clean and well equipped house What an incredible view!

We'll miss that for sure I highly recommend this property, if you're lucky enough to stay there you'll understand

We had a fantastic stay at Bay house second time we have stayed, We highly recommend this property, The weather was glorious, We toured the surrounding areas.

The property is very well maintained and all you need for a self catering break by the sea.

Excellent accommodation, just as described when booking.

We had a minor issue which was sorted out immediately by Sian. Would recommend and would go back.

Probably the best property we have ever stayed in.

Stunning sea views, lovely garden. The house was so well equipped, clean, comfortable and lovely decor. Well situated for exploring the area with lovely beaches and walks right on your door step. Wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend.

Was a well looked after property.

the view from the kitchen was amazing we had amazing sunsets. Would go again.

Second time at Bay view house.

its very comfortable spotlessly clean, nothing is left to chance there is everything you need for a great holiday.even the last 24 hours without water didn't spoil our holiday.not the owners fault all the area was without water.we were so impressed by Bay view we left some daffodils to show our appreciation of what the owners do to make your stay comfortable. The view is beautiful and also the weather was perfect which does help.i highly recommend Bay view house.

Beautifully clean and well-maintained property.

Well equipped. Great to have the view of the bay from the kitchen and the patio outside.

We had a really good break at Bay house , the house was spotless so comfortable to stay in, lovely sea views and leaving a cake and milk was a nice touch thank you, we would love to stay at Bay House again next year and highly recommend this property.

Ann

Lovely property, great facilities and spotless.

Great base to.explore North Wales

House was spotlessly clean and very inviting,Great location and excellent view.

We will definitely tell our friends and we will return

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and as always the house was immaculate and spotlessly clean.

It has everything you need during your stay and is a proper home from home with sea views to die for , the only thing that spoilt it for us was the fact that my wife’s father passed a way and we had to return home earlier than we had planned .

Thank you for the cake milk tea & coffee really appreciated Bay View House Excellent Very comfortable Spotlessly clean with everything you need to make your holiday relaxing and enjoyable The views are stunning especially in the evening from the balcony when the sun is setting We have been coming to North Wales for 9 yrs and this is the best house we have stayed in by far George & Jean Renfrew Scotland

We were very pleased with Bay View House, which was as described.

Re the parking: we parked on the road, due to the (moderately) steep drive, although this was not a problem. We would be very happy to return to Bay View House and its wonderful views.

Nicely furnished property, very comfortable bedrooms lovely, if you are fortunate to have good weather like we did, you can sit out in the lovely gardens.

It’s better to park on the road as the drive is a bit difficult to manoevre. The sunsets through the kitchen window at night are beautiful.

A lovely property, the view was great and everything was spot on

Enjoyed our stay, lovely and clean and comfortable.

Definitely recommend to others. Views for fab too.

We stayed in Bay View House this week and it was everything we had hope for.

The house was extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The view from the rear of the property is lovely. We would definitely recommend Bay View house to friends and family. Kath & Paul Ritson : Liverpool

Bay view house was perfect in every way ,spotlessly clean ,very comfortable ,we slept very well, nothing is left to chance, every thing you need is there for you, fantastic views .

i cannot find fault with Bay view anywhere, will hopefully be going there again.

We spent Christmas here and it was fantastic.

Highly recommended this house, spotlessly clean and great views. The owners put up a Christmas tree and we had milk and mince pies left in the fridge, lovely touch.

Lovely house with great views across Colwyn Bay.

Double plus Twin bedrooms perfect for 2 to 4 guests. Really enjoyed our 2nd visit to Bay View House and would highly recommend a weekly break in North Wales.

Was a great experience and the house was fabulous.

So happy with Sykes Cottages.

The property is spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped with everything you need.

The cake, milk, tea and coffee were much appreciated on our arrival. Thank you!

Very nice and clean house.

Lovely view on the sea, around 30min to walk to the beach. Amazing house,I can't complain about anything!

bay view was a lovely clean property, upon arrival a couple of hours early via the train, the owners allowed us to leave our bags so that we could go and explore the area for a couple of hours.

tea coffee milk and a nice chocolate cake were left a nice welcome touch, the only little niggle would be the need for more utensils ie a sharp knife, serving spoon. non stick frying pan and maybe a freezer not small freezer box, i know a lot of people eat out in the evenings so this would not be a problem for them but we were out during the day and evening meals were eaten in. overall a nice property well looked after and i would recommend a visit.

This is our fourth year visiting this cottage and will be our fifth next year.

The property is 5* in every respect and a credit to the owners and those who maintain it. As me and my wife are getting on in years the only way it could be improved for us personally would be a down stairs loo. Many thanks to the owners

Once again the house was immaculate and spotlessly clean.

It has everything you could need except for a tumble drier if you need to do any washing, but plenty of clothes pegs and a generous washing line. On our arrival there was a small blind that had broken in the main bedroom, but after a phone call, Peter promptly came round and rectified the problem for us . The sea views are spectacular and the beds were so comfortable I would recommend this property to anybody.

Lovely place and very clean.

Beautiful view over the bay. Cannot fault it.

Very homely and Spotless and with fantastic view, a superb property.

Its close to all amenities, shops and takeaway 5 mins walk away. Loads yo do in the area we will definitely be back, thank you

Lovely house.

Clean, tidy and comfy with everything you need for your stay. Stunning views from the back and ideally situated for visits to all the surrounding areas. The delicious cake in the fridge on arrival was an unexpected, welcome surprise.

Nice location lovely views, house clean, dining table requirs attention as do chairs one had a serious leg problem.

Driveway was useless had to unload and load on street certainly no good for SUV or anything more than 4 feet wide, it was quiet until you opened kitchen door and then the road noise was horrendous

Bay View house was a pleasure to stay in, it was extremely clean and very well equipt, it was home from home for us.

Thank you for the goodies you left us, it was great to be able to have a cuppa and cake on arrival just what was needed. The furniture was clean and comfortable and well maintained the owners should be very proud. The views over the bay were amazing and it was a pleasure to sit out side and enjoy the great weather. The bus service was better than home we were able to get around without driving everywhere. The village had all the shops and resturants needed, Alex`s fish bar is recommended, good food and not over priced, Kens kitchen chinese take away is good value and the portions are huge far too much for one person. Sian was avilable if needed and was helpful with my query regarding the dishwasher thanks Sian. I would definitely stay again and would obviously recommend to anyone. One recommendation would be a hand rail in the shower cubicle otherwise everything was perfect.

An excellent cottage

EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPPED

Lovely property, well maintained, very comfortable and well equipped.

Spotlessly clean and nicely presented with great views of the bay. Easy access to amenities and good location for travelling around North Wales.

The property was perfect with a beautiful view and spotlessly clean.

The house was spotless.

Facilities very good. Beautiful sea views. A DVD would be a good asset. Lack of information with regards to some appliances. High possibility of returning to this property. Recommended

Delightful house, all we needed.

Comfy beds and hot showers! Parking a little tight due to other parked cars, parked on the road. It was cold when we arrived, but warmed up once switched heating up. Electric fire did not work in the lounge. Lovely 3 days and the house spotlessly clean. Good location, everything close by.

Very nice place one of nicest we have been to.

Lovely place and amazing views.

Absolutely fantastic like last year!

Excellent property spotlessly clean well equipped with a stunning view over the bay one of the best we have stayed in with sykes

This was a spotlessly clean property, well decorated and well equipped.

The views from the kitchen and bedroom windows were beautiful . It was a nice quiet area. A nice touch was the cake and fresh milk left for us to be enjoyed with a nice cup of tea. I would definetly recommend staying here.

We had a really enjoyable and lovely stay.

The house was so clean and really well equipped with the most amazing views of the sea. I Ithink it was probably the best holiday accomodation we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday experience. Have already recommend it to friends and family.

Lovely clean cottage and garden.

This was our second visit here and have now booked again for next year. Highly recommended

A lovely, roomy house.

It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was extremely well stocked. The views of the sea from the balcony were fantastic. It was easy to walk to Colwyn Bay and Rhos On Sea.

The house was immaculate not only extremely clean and comfortable but it had all facilities needed with shops and takeaways nearby the owners should be proud of their property

First class property, clean and bright a home from home.

We enjoyed a great week at Bay View House, and it was an excellent base for our family to explore the surrounding area.

Everything was very clean, and the house well stocked. The views from the front of the house are great, particularly the evening sunsets over the bay. Would certainly recommend! Thank you

We had a lovely week at Bay view ,as soon as you walked in the door it smelt fresh and clean the property was immaculate .

we felt right at home from the moment we entered. Wi fi good . Both bedrooms very tastefully decorated with lots of nice touches and a sea view from bedroom and kitchen would recommend to friends and family without hesitation.

single bed quilts not big enough and no tin opener that worked very cheap quality.

A very comfortable and well presented house with panoramic views across Colwyn Bay.

Furnished like new throughout, with spotless shower w/c, well equipped kitchen and lovely TV lounge / dining room. Both the twin and double bedrooms were very comfy in large sizes with ample built in wardrobe space. We would love to visit again in the Spring/Summer to enjoy the garden with summerhouse and balcony overlooking fab views of Colwyn Bay.

The cottage was great in every respect, centrally placed for travel along the coast and countryside .

Beautiful views of the bay, faultless except the reason for only four stars facilities is the kitchen wall cupboard was to high for my wife to reach. Will definitely book again

The only thing being that it's the first time we have done Friday to Friday which made it a very long tiring journey being as it was all Friday traffic and took us 3 hours longer to get there than it would on a Saturday.

The accommodation you couldn't fault, clean, comfortable, view was absolutely amazing couldn't keep away from looking at it.

excellent house , very enjoyable stay

The house was immaculate with provisions included with everything you need I.

e. tea, coffee biscuits etc. The sunsets from the kitchen window were superb. Would highly recommend.

We were in easy reach of many interesting places to visit.

Loved our walk down to the beach and exploring the different paths. Near to the shops, a fish and chip shop plus a couple of pubs to get a nice meal. The view of the sea was really something we.ll never forget. Very sad to leave it all.

The owners had covered all the little items that you would find in your own home.

Spotlessly clean and tidy. Would highly recommend

Bay View House is an absolutely lovely property which was very clean and had a fabulous view.

The only downside was the road noise from the main road just at the back of the house, which wasn't a problem if the windows were closed. A dvd player would be a useful addition to the facilities, to help keep little children occupied. I brought my laptop to use as a dvd player when I found out there wasn't one. We had a lovely stay. As I said, the house was very clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. We would come again!

lovely place with lovely views you could not want for more , very clean and fresh , we had a lovely comfortable stay , we would definitely go again

We thought the house and views were beautiful.

The only down side was the driveway. It was extremely steep and narrow. None of the other residents used there drive they all parked on the road. We had a mishap with the drive and had to park further down the next road. Customers should be made aware of the drive.

Lovely clean accommodation, very comfortable, great views from house and gardens.

Appreciated cleaning products and nice touches such as biscuits and milk in the fridge. Will be returning in the summer holidays, I highly recommend this lovely place.

The house was immaculate and had super views of Colwyn Bay.

It had the bonus of a bus stop right outside with excellent services up and down the coast.

So pleased to find a property so exceptionally clean and in such a perfect location.

Highly recommended.

The house was clean and comfortable with superb views over the Bay and a place we may well visit again.

The drive is on a steep path which means some motorists may prefer to park outside, but there is a jobsworth across the road who reminds you that you must park in the drive or his visitors will be stuck for parking space. Otherwise no problems with the property.

Bay View House was exceptionally clean and spacious with everything you needed for a self catering holiday.

Certainly one of the best we have stayed at. Lovely sea view from the kitchen and bedroom windows. Only a short distance to the major supermarkets and the promenade. Centrally located for touring North Wales also Anglesey and Snowdonia for those who wish to venture a bit further a field. We had a great week's holiday and would most certainly recommend it to others. Score rating easily 10 out of 10.

Great location for everything we wanted to do.

A lovely home from home house, well equipped for all our needs and with added fabulous views and glorious sunsets.

A lovely house in a great spot.

Great underdogs and out. Very, very clean on arrival and it has everything you need for your stay. We had a really great week and will be back for sure.

The holiday home was very clean and well equipped, home from home .

The balcony/patio is a great addition with fantastic views of Colwyn Bay,we sat out most evenings watching the sunset with a glass of wine.Conveniently located to local shops and tourist attractions across North Wales.Would recommend and will return to this property.
