Cam O'r Fechan Annexe

We had a lovely stay at the annex, it had everything you needed apart from a fan because it was warm.

Luckily I had brought my own. The annex garden was wonderful and was lovely to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners were lovely and if you needed anything they would help you out.

Peter and Hillary were friendly and very helpful.

The hosts, Peter and Hilary, are helpful and friendly. The property is spotlessly clean and comfortable, c/w with on site parking, private sunny garden area, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and a good shower. Absolutely nothing to dislike!

The property was so easy to find and we were very impressed with the views of the surrounding hills.

Once inside we were equally impressed with the very high standard of the fixtures and fittings. Really well placed to be able to visit surrounding locations. A two minute drive away from a local co-op meant all provisions were easily bought . All in all we had a great time and enjoyed meeting Peter and Hilary, such nice people.

A lovely, clean & cosy annex. Everything you need to use it as a Base to see the gorgeous surroundings. Lots to see & do around Llangollen. You can walk into Llangollen town (bit up hill coming back) We had some nice meals in Llangollen. Hilary was very helpful. Highly recommended stay.

A gem in the Welsh mountains.

Looking out towards Dinas Bran castle and surrounding countryside. Easy to find. The owners very welcoming. The Annex is spotless and very well maintained. Lovely space with everything you need for a break away. 10 min walk into Llangollen through the village. Walk back no problem a gentle ascent. Good position to visit places like Betws y coed, Portmeirion, Chirk Castle and gardens, Erddig hall and gardens, Bala lake and many more. Well worth a stay to recharge batteries. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay and we are hoping to return x

The Annexe is in a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful scenery within easy access to Llangollen.

It was warm and cosy and very comfortable and was a pleasure to stay in. Lots of places to visit in surrounding areas. We had such a lovely week.

Just had a lovely week in this Annexe in Llangollen.

Hilary and Pete were really friendly and helpful. It was spotlessly clean and had all we wanted. Easy walking into the centre of Llangollen making it a good quiet location.

I was really delighted with the annexe.

It was immaculately clean and tidy, had everything I could need, and gave me absolute privacy while being only around the corner from Peter and Hilary, the landlords. They were very friendly and helpful, especially with advice about the locality. The Vale of Llangollen and the surrounding hills and valleys are really beautiful, with enough walking country to keep anyone going for weeks. I will certainly be back, health permitting.

A very comfortable accommodation with all you need in a great quiet locality.

We enjoyed sitting out in the private garden after a days walking in the beautiful countryside. Hilary and Peter strike the perfect balance as hosts, there if you need them for advice but allow you privacy to enjoy your holiday.

A lovely annexe to to owners' home on the outskirts of Llangollen.

Very clean and well equipped with everything you could wish for. Patio looks on to beautiful scenery. Quiet location but close to the amenities of the town. Plenty of interesting places to visit. Peter and Hilary were friendly and helpful hosts.

A very comfortable, quiet & well equipped private annexe, spotlessly clean, with fantastic views. Good location for visiting Llangollen and the attractions of the surrounding area. We received a warm & friendly welcome from our hosts.

Really liked the property which was cool (inside) and warm (outside) in the hot weather.

Great comfortable outdoor furniture, very good, nice compact kitchen, excellent shower room (once the automatic lights had decided to notice me!) Perfectly situated to either wander into town (10 mins walk) or avoid it (on the very outskirts) depending on preference. Lots to do, and the view of Castell Dinas Bran is a great epilogue to a hard day's hiking. Only points for improvement would be softer, less bright lighting in the bedroom and perhaps a clothes airer to dry wet stuff from all of the water activities available nearby.

We were very pleased with the accommodation and our hosts.

Really helpful and friendly. The Annexe had everything we needed and was really nice. If the weather had been better we would have been out in the garden both relaxing and having our meals but unfortunately it wasn't so good.

Lovely place to stay.

Very comfortable indeed. Hilary and Peter were super hosts, very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the wet weather stopped us using the outdoor facilities but the view from the patio is super. We hope to return again before too long.

lovely place to stay , very clean and excellent location

Lovely cosy cottage with outstanding views of the countryside, so many places to visit just a short drive away.

Hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming, really enjoyed our stay.

A very clean and comfortable cottage that we enjoyed all of the time that we stayed.

The location was close to Llangollen and there were many local walks and attractions like the famous Aqueduct on the canal. Another plus point were the hosts Peter and Hillary who we found to be very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to visit this beautiful area of Wales.

The perfect spot from which to enjoy the Eisteddfod and the lovely scenery in the area.

A perfect place to stay just out of the town but within walking distance, with beautiful views all around, ideally situated for exploring Llangollen and the surrounding Dee valley.

Cam O'r Fechan is a delightful annexe in a wonderful area with extensive views from the premises.

It is well fitted out and has everything you need. There is a private garden to the property should you wish to just have a lazy day, but it is well placed to visit many places. The owners are very helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Wow, what a beautiful little home from home.

Equipped with everything you need for a great holiday even if lasing around or using it as a base to explore the area. The large Aldi super market makes life easy to and there are local take a ways and fresh bakery's in the village. Fancy a Sunday roast, look no further than The Aquaduct Inn, a roast like your Gran used to make and at a really good price. Hillary and Peter are the purfect host's with a cheery smile and lots of adivce on things to see and places to visit

On our February arrival, the annexe was warm inside, comfortable and spottlessly clean throughout.

Situated in a pretty area with plenty to visit locally, you even have a view of a ruined hilltop castle without moving off the sofa! A great place for horse lovers too. Thankyou, Hilary and Peter for your warm welcome. The annexe is a credit to you.

Property spot on and ideally situated for exploring the local area. Loved the peace and quiet, but it was also handy for the local shops and chippy. Our hosts Hilary and Peter were were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they knew plenty about the area. Always a warm welcome from Waldo too

An excellent annex in a quiet countryside area with lovely views and nearby walks, however it is only a twenty minute walk from the centre of Llangollen.

We will definitely return in the future.
