“Very spacious, well equipped but corners cut which was a shame.”

There is a splendid cooker, the pans were not usable. Where the non-stick coating had been scraped off they had all rusted. There is a splendid cooker, the pans were not usable. Where the non-stick coating had been scraped off they had all rusted. So The only way to cook was with frying pans, baking sheets, or to use the microwave oven. New pans don't cost much! Spotless kitchen. The only bed we used was in need of renewal because it was so old. We loved the privacy and the location, the directions were essential and no parking problems because of an ample private drive. An attempt had been made to put down artificial grass but it was a disaster. I'm sure weed -resistant membrane and wood chippings would look better. On the plus, it was really warm and well-ventilated. The amount of light was wonderful - big windows in every room. The welcome pack was also very kind. Nice front garden (there was a pretty border and mixed shrubs) but a bodged, unfinished structure (seating area?) and collection of overflowing bins didn't give the best first impressions. On the morning of our stay we received a call to say a wardrobe door had come off and it was at the top of the list to be replaced, this reflected how there was care about the interior and the comfort it offered visitors. Strange details let it down (the missing carpet at the side of the bed, two carpet squares being laid down to fill the gap). We had a good stay, we really did but were niggled by the details mentioned.

Hi Penelope, thankyou foryour feedback which I will check on. I only visit the property every two or 3 months now as live a long way off so can't attend to everything on a regular basis. The beds were all new just in May this year, same with the pots and pans,ii have it managed 100%by Menai with now a regular gardener, the asfro turf as put down as bark chipping were yhere which really were a disaster. I was not aware the wardrobe door fhad been damaged but hope it's been repaired. Glad you enjoyed your time in general thanks for your feedback w High I will address Ess.Lee Antattdnd to everything on a regular basis. Property Owner

PENMAENMAWR

Conwy 5 miles.

Nestled on the North Wales coast between Llanfairfechan and Conwy, Penmaenmawr is an old quarrying town now adapted into a delightful community stretching along this stunning coastline, yet retaining much of its Victorian architecture, with many local pubs, restaurants and shops, a superb golf course and golden, sandy beaches. A recently opened cycle path leads along the coastal path to Conwy Marina to the East, and Llanfairfechan to the west. Or, head up the Conwy valley through the Sychnant Pass on to the mountain trails that abound there. The sailing club in Penmaenmawr is well established and welcomes day guests, as does the 9 hole golf course, set amongst stunning coastal scenery on the lower slopes of the village. On the promenade you will find numerous activities such as a skate park, a children's paddling pool as well as a beach cafe which is open most of the year.
