She required an ambulance and major surgery at Ysbyty Gwynedd. The Hazards: The property has several unmarked hazards, including low-hanging beams (head strike risk) and uneven flooring on the ground level. The Response: I notified the owner immediately to request safety warnings and a shower mat to prevent future accidents. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are genuinely sorry to hear about the injury your mother suffered. We sincerely hope she is recovering well after what must have been a very distressing experience. We do, however, want to clarify a few points to ensure future guests receive accurate information. We have no record of any attempts to contact us during your stay; had we been made aware of your concerns, we would have responded immediately and offered any support we could. The ground floor of the property is newly installed and even throughout, with two small steps that are clearly marked with tape. The upstairs area does have low beams, which are signposted with visible warnings and are clearly shown in the photographs. A non-slip shower mat is provided at the property for guest use. We wish you had reached out to us during your stay so we could have assisted promptly. Guest safety is extremely important to us Property Owner

About the location

HOLYHEAD

Trearddur Bay 3 miles.

The bustling town of Holyhead rests on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town boasts the remains of Roman town walls and forts, medieval burial chambers and stone village foundations. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, which offers designated walks through the grounds. The park is full of interesting wildlife, most notably the seals who visit the Holyhead coast, and outlines the amazing construction of the world's longest breakwater, some 1.8 miles, which today protects the harbour. Visit the colourful marina with its yachts and tall ships, or the town's maritime museum, with its tales of 100 shipwrecks in the vicinity. Day trips to Ireland can be enjoyed easily from here, with Dublin just 90 minutes away on the fast ferry. With spectacular cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain, golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay and the Snowdonia National Park just a 20 minute drive away, this is a superb holiday location, at any time of the year.

Electric Vehicle Charging is available without charge from 12am-7am only, at all other times, please negotiate with property owner, charger is untethered so customers need to bring their own charging cable.
