Pentowyn was lovely from top to bottom.

Very clean and had everything you could possibly want. The location is superb with the beach across the road and the shops nearby. There are plenty of lovely walks and brilliant for dogs.

This cottage is fantastic clean All the facilities you need and more.

Garden lovely and ideal for dogs, large and secure. To top it off the beach is across the road with a coastal walk to another beach. The head room in main bedroom has low beams but we got used it

A beautiful property that is very close to all the amenities one would need including a beach within yards.

My one criticism is that the property is described as dog safe. Whilst this would be correct for medium/large dogs. Unfortunately, our small poodle escaped through the stock fencing and the courtyard which can be accessed by delivery men is not divided from the garden.

Had a lovely stay at Pentowyn and would love to visit again.

House was beautiful and quaint but with just the right amount of mod cons. In the perfect location for direct beach access with great views and also close to lots of amenities as well as close to other areas of Anglesey. Pentowyn had everything we needed and more! We got lucky with the weather so enjoyed sitting in the garden with a morning cup of tea or relaxing in the evening and it felt nice and private, so you could enjoy the space as a family. Nice little touches from Jane the host and I would definitely recommend this property to others.

The walking from here is very pleasant indeed, our little dog loved it The EV charging worked well and is a real boon to us.

Great property and right next to the beach , even though weather was hit and miss still had a good relaxing break .

Property has everything you need then some , some lovely little touches ( cake was delicious ) . Large garden was a bonus for the dog .

This property is in a superb location with the beach and costal walks on your doorstep along with great shopping facilities within walking distance.

A comfortable place to stay.

Property is located very close to great dog friendly beach, which our four legged friend enjoyed immensely.

There is also a great range of supermarkets on your doorstep, meaning you can easily nip out a grab anything you need. Property was lovely, clean and well maintained, the enclosed garden gives you piece of mind for pets and children. One thing to note, the ceilings upstairs are LOW. You do get warned, but you need to crouch while upstairs to avoid any bumps. There is also no upstairs loo, not really a problem, but to be noted. Great overall and we will go again

The house is beautifully kept, spotless, and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. Our dogs absolutely loved the enclosed garden—they had so much fun running around freely. The location is perfect, with the beach right on your doorstep for lovely walks, and easy access to local shops and amenities. We’d happily recommend Pentowyn to anyone and can’t wait to return!

Beautifully presented homely cottage right on the beach front.

Everything you would want for a relaxing holiday. Loverly furnishings, Great Wi-Fi signal, and an enclosed garden for our dog to enjoy her freedom. We mislaid the key and contacted Jayne (The owner) who brought a replacement. We did find it eventually !! Can't recommend enough and will certainly be booking again.

We spent 5 nights at this beautiful cottage with our 2 golden retrievers from 7-12 March.

The cottage is situated in the most beautiful position, with the beach just metres away. The cottage was beautifully clean and has been really sympathetically restored by the owners. It is cosy, warm, welcoming and surprisingly spacious. The owner left us a welcome card and a beautiful cake which was a thoughtful touch. Our dogs absolutely loved the beach and the walks and we met some really friendly locals with their dogs too. The cottage has a lovely feeling about it as soon as you walk through the door and you feel at home straight away. We wished that we had booked a few extra days but will definitely book again. All in all, we had a lovely time and would certainly recommend the property to prospective holidaymakers.

Title: SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERNS – HAZARDS LED TO SEVERE INJURY The Incident: During our stay, my 90-year-old mother suffered a broken hip after slipping in the shower, which lacked a basic non-slip mat.

She required an ambulance and major surgery at Ysbyty Gwynedd. The Hazards: The property has several unmarked hazards, including low-hanging beams (head strike risk) and uneven flooring on the ground level. The Response: I notified the owner immediately to request safety warnings and a shower mat to prevent future accidents. The owner has failed to respond or acknowledge the incident, showing a complete lack of concern for guest safety. Verdict: While the location is lovely, the property is currently unsafe, particularly for elderly guests or those with mobility issues.

Had a lovely stay here, has absolutely everything you would need and is in a fanstastic location for everything.

Having read the information pack left behind, we found the history of the cottage very interesting and think it's wonderful that the owners have tried to keep as many of the original features as possible! It makes it a truly unique cottage and we couldn't recommend it highly enough - even given the fact that we are both tall and had loads of fun truong not to bump our heads!

Absolutely loved my stay here, the place is incredible, so cosy and different.

Location was great, remote feeling but every shop you could need up the road. I’ll definitely be back in summer to take advantage of the beach right opposite. The host left me a lovely welcome note and some milk and a cake. Responded to my message about the ev charger promptly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful cosy cottage in a perfect location for beach walks.

The cottage has plenty of character and was very comfortable and clean. It has everything you need. Could not fault anything . Was great for the dogs too having a large enclosed garden and ideal being just across the road from the beach .

What an excellent place this is.

It’s got everything you need in a prime location right on the beach. The place is spotless. Whether you’re on a relaxing break or to use as a base to explore the island, this is perfect. Jane is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Your doggy will love you even more than they do now.

This cottage gives you everything cleanliness, cosy, all amenities, A warning about the low beams which we didn't find a problem.

Having a beach on your doorstep and shops round the corner. PERFECT FOR A GREAT HOLIDAY

This was our first use of a holiday rental but will not be our last.

The generalcondition of the cottage and its position were brilliant. Our communication with the owner when required were friendly and productive. I had to appologise to the low beam for accidently head butting it on first encounter I subsequently bowed in suplication before it and all was well. The brief holiday here was enjoyed by the three of us, two human and one canine, enourmously.

This is an outstanding property.

Fantastic location for the beach ( facing you!) , also for nearby shops and with easy access to the expressway to visit surrounding places. The dogs loved it as much as us. The property was spotlessly clean, the garden a delight, and a lovely welcome pack of delicious cake was a lovely touch. Our only negative was the two tiny bedrooms/beds are only really suitable for children ( should have read the owners description more carefully) which wasn't ideal for 3 adults . That aside, I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

An absolutely beautiful property in a stunning location.

The property is completely kitted out with everything you could need plus extras like a dog towel and blanket. The location was superb. We could literally open the gate and let our dog run on to the beach. This really made our stay. We walked there twice every day. The views were amazing. I would definitely recommend the property and want to come back.

Pentowyn is a great location.

The beach is through the gate and there is a large country park a few minutes' walk along the beach path. It was lovely to have a holiday cottage where the garden is genuinely secure - even for our two greyhounds. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was scrupulously clean. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the bedroom ceilings upstairs are low so you do need to remember to duck the beams, but we felt it added to the charm of the house.

This is our second visit to this cottage and it didn’t disappoint.

Spent a week at this gem of a cottage and absolutely loved it.

The property itself has a lovely cosy feel but is also well equipped with modern features. The garden is very large, secure and a great place to let the dog wander around in. The icing on the cake is the location, the beach is right on your doorstep which was great for our little man. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it highly.

Equipped to high standard and spotlessly clean. 4 adults may struggle for space in main living room and 2 single rooms although lovely are very small. Bathroom upstairs would be more beneficial

A lovely stay in a fantastic cottage .

In an amazing location.

Perfect location, ceilings were extremely low, kept hitting head, annoying having to walk downstairs for both bathrooms.

We had several nights of disturbances due to something loudly scratching in the roof space. Left a day early from our scheduled visit, no gesture from owners. Will not be visiting again.

This was our 4 th stay at pentowyn cannot fault it in any way so clean cosy and comfortable easy access to all places on the island carnt wait to return

What a find!

We were so pleased with our stay at Pentowyn. The welcome note, cake and other treats were really appreciated, and the cottage was equipped with every thing we needed. It’s a very comfortable place to stay. The dog loved the spacious garden and it was great being so close to the beach. We would highly recommend a stay here as a base to explore Anglesey.

We spent a wonderful week, even storm Ashley didn't scare us ;) October turned out to be a great time for a holiday.

It’s a lovely cottage the shower cubicle is on the small side and the roll top bath would be nice if it also had a over head shower with curtain didn’t realise how low the beams actually were up stairs although it does state it in over view fantastic garden and living space downstairs unfortunately my partner is 6ft so we require a bit more standing space in bedroom so if your tall it’s probably not for you but overall great little cottage

Fantastic cottage, very cosy and very well equipped.

The garden is big and very well secured for big dogs. It is also on the doorstep of a nice dog friendly beach. Lots of beautiful coastal walks around, very nice beaches and beautiful forest with red squirrels. Shops are also few minutes from the cottage. Overall, a big 5 star rating! AMAZING holiday cottage with beautiful sceneries around.

It is in a perfect location,out of the gate and just across the road to the beach.Beautiful walks from the cottage and supermarkets a couple of minutes drive away.We loved the garden as did our dog.Pentowyn is really well equipped,very comfortable and we would definitely return.

A great cottage in a beautiful location.

Don’t let the fact that the two bathrooms are downstairs put you off. Lovely size garden and ample parking with the beach and costal walks on your door step. Really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic cottage. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Pentowyn. The beach a few steps away. Great for our dog and lovely walks from the doorstep. The cottage was immaculate and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden fully enclosed and spacious. No issues from the campsite next door or the car park. Honestly sad to leave and will definitely book here again.

We had a great time. Even storm Kathleen didn't affect our stay.The garden is enclosed and the dogs loved it. The beach is almost on the doorstep with lots of accessible walks from the cottage. Very well equipped, shops,etc very handy. Would.love to stay during the summer.

Gorgeous cottage in a prime location.

Literally across from a wonderful dog friendly beach. A wonderful walk along the coast path through the forest and on to lovely coves to explore. There’s also the bonus of having everything you need on your doorstep shopping wise. The only thing that let us down was the weather. But even that couldn’t dampen what was a wonderful time. Would certainly go again in the future. 5*

This is a gorgeous, well appointed cottage.

It's cosy, comfortable and fully equipped with all mod cons. Dog friendly, the owners even providing dog towels and blankets to make your furry friends welcome too. The dog friendly beach is literally over the road and was perfect. Shops are within walking distance. We spent the best week here Jan 2024 and returned home fully rested. Highly highly recommended.

It was hard to get it warm the first night.

Pentowyn was extremely clean and comfortable.

The enclosed garden was ideal for our 2 dogs. With the beach a few feet away and Penrhos Coastal Park (we saw red squirrels) a few minutes walk, you don't need a car. With a big Retail Park 5 mins and main roads not far away Pentowyn is in a very good location. We had a lovely relaxing time. Thank you

We had an absolutely amazing holiday at Pentowyn.

The cottage is perfectly situated next to the beach, with Penrhos Coastal Park on its doorstep and only a short drive from Trearddur Bay and other beautiful locations. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Two bathrooms made it perfect for us and we particularly liked the bath after a busy day exploring. The kitchen was excellent and had everything we needed. The master bedroom was generous in size and very comfortable. The upstairs single was a tight squeeze (we had an adult in there - it’d be fine for a little one). The garden was perfect for dogs - fully enclosed and very spacious. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. I cannot recommend it enough.

What a fabulous cottage!

We loved our stay and wished we’d have booked for longer. The cottage had everything and more and the little touches were lovely. The yummy chocolate cake and milk in the fridge were a welcome surprise after a long journey. The location was perfect and right on the beach and the views from the window were beautiful. Round the corner are supermarkets and a retail park so the best of both worlds. The cottage had a lovely garden with seating area that was great for our dog to wander safely. Inside, everything was clean and furnished to a high standard with cosy and comfortable beds. The only small things I would say to improve the property would be the size of the towels. The bath towels were very small so I’d recommend taking your own. Also as a bit of a snob, I’d have liked to see a better offering of drinking glasses. More larger glasses for lager or gin and Prosecco glasses would be welcomed for the fizz. If you book this cottage you won’t be disappointed and I’d definitely book again Thank you Jane and family for having us x

Fabulous cottage, very clean and a homely feel.

Everything we needed was provided, down to dog towels and poo bags. Immaculate garden of good size and huge frontage with ample parking. Lovely beach just a few steps across the road. We had a little problem, we text the owners who replied very quickly and came to the property within the hour. Very helpful and friendly and problem sorted immediately. Would definitely return 10/10.

The cottage was fantastic very clean well equipped very dog friendly with a large garden for the dogs only a throw away from the beach and the shops are just a short walk away no problem with the camp site next door we've already booked again for next year so try it for yourself and enjoy

The garden was amazing and well kept. Situated in a very good position near a beach and close to shops. Lots of space downstairs, although the low beams upstairs were a slight issue for us. This wouldn't stop us booking again though, as the positives outweigh the slight negative. Thanks, we had a lovely week.

We had a lovely wk away at Pentowyn perfect location not to far from anywhere, we loved been so close to the beach and our dogs loved it to, the garden was nice and private even if there was a caravan park over the fence it didn’t spoil our stay, it was very peaceful on a evening .

The only niggle was the low beams at the top of the stairs they needs to be some bright tape actually on the beam as you can’t see the sighn behind it , my son is tall and he did bump his head on it, My daughter loved the bedroom downstairs it was cute. The cottage was very clean plenty of towels which is always good.

The cottage was immaculately clean, lovely comfy sofas and we appreciated the dog throws and towels lovely big garden for dogs to run and easy access to beach.

What a lovely holiday cottage!

We have really enjoyed our stay here, especially with the beach being so close, literally steps away from the front door! The house is pretty well-stocked, although a quiche and lasagne dish would be good additions to the kitchen cupboard. The heating issue was quickly sorted by the friendly owners, many thanks! The log burner is wonderful and most welcome on the chillier evenings. The 2 bathrooms downstairs are good; although we missed a toilet upstairs (ageing knees going up and down in the night!!) But this is clear in the cottage description. The shops are very close by and proved a great convenience for stocking up the fridge and cupboards. Overall, we've spent a lovely week here. Our dogs loved the large enclosed garden too. The weather hasn't been great but the cottage has been a lovely place to sit in, relax, get dry, warm up and chill out. Highly recommended.

So close to being 5 star.

House very clean and well maintained. It is well equipped and included cleaning materials (not many do that). New mattresses would be good and as it is a quirky cottage perhaps yellow warning tape on the beam at the top of the stairs! There is a step down into the downstairs bedroom and one bathroom but you got used to that! Being at the end of the road and next to the beach was amazing for our dog- her favourite place and still a sandy area at high tide. Good size garden but no privacy during summer months as camper vans in field next door but hopefully the hedge will grow a few more feet then it will be perfect! Would definitely come back out of season.

Well presented and stocked cottage, totally secure for pets with a fabulous location for those poochies who love the beach (20 paces and you are on the sands!

). In approx half a mile you have Tesco including a petrol station, Aldi, Lidl,Morrsons B&M etc with KFC McDonalds not far either for kids. Great place for exploring ..... Only niggle is that there is only a single bedroom downstairs rather than a double but this is fully explained in the details. You will certainly enjoy your stay

What a great holiday cottage!

Perfectly located for the beach, local amenities and as a base for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. Four adults and two small dogs thoroughly enjoyed our break which was accompanied by weather that could not have been bettered. The cottage contained all of the comforts of home, and some extra, together with a superb garden enjoyed by all of us. Although the cottage's details did mention the sloping bedroom ceilings upstairs, we do think that the smaller room upstairs is only really suitable for a child. Better facilities for refuse and recycling would also be appreciated. However, despite our minor criticisms, we fully intend to return to the cottage as soon as time allows. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage.

!0 yds. from beach. Plenty of private parking space. Every facility but couldn't locate any WiFi. Lovely location for accessing Coastal Path.

Great location. Very little headroom upstairs although we had been warned of this in the description of the cottage so we were aware. Everything else lovely except the shower could do to be a bit bigger as my husband did struggle with the limited room. ( time for a diet I think

We had a wonderful time.

We had a brilliant stay, lovely cottage close to the beach, very clean, big garden and felt comfortable and like a home away from home.

We have been away for the last 9 years and this is the best property we have stayed at for location.

All necessities on your doorstep but with a beach view.. I didn't think that existed. Jane and her family came to help us when we needed something straight away. We have 2 big German Shepherds Axel & Skye who absolutely loved the enclosed garden. The outside hose was a massive help for washing sandy dogs down. We even had dog towels provided in our welcome pack with cakes and assorted coffee/tea and even milk in the fridge. There are so many walks from the doorstep and others a very short drive. The island of holyhead is absolutely breathtaking. The house is full of everything you need and the log fire is stunning. Make sure you book you will not be disappointed. Amy Lanigan-Deeks

Such a lovely place, has everything and right on the beach but also close to the shops.

I am recovering from surgery and not very mobile at the moment so to get away to such a perfect place was great medicine. Need to come back when I’m better so I can enjoy the many walks close by.

Loved the cottage right next to the sea, lovely setting, but being January the weather was wet and windy.

But that didn't stop us going out with teddy, our dog. Now he was confused in the cottage to many doors!

Perfect property with lovely large enclosed garden and right on the beach.

Loved our short break at the beginning of December, lovely cottage with an enclosed garden for the dogs.

A nice touch was the basket provided with towels and throws for the dogs. Brilliant straight across the road to the dog friendly beach. There is a caravan site over the fence next door, which was closed during our visit. The wood burner in the lounge made it very cosy together with Sky TV including movies. You did have to bend down to go into the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom and shower room were downstairs which we didn't find a problem. I would say though we were woken at 6.30 am on 2 mornings by the council worker coming to empty the waste bin in the car park next to the property with loud music blaring out. The dog walkers turn up at all times of day, parking in front of the gates to the property on the other side of the road, making it difficult to enter and leave the drive. All in all a lovely cottage which I would definitely recommend.

Our second Holiday at this little gem of a cottage.

Very clean and comfortable, had everything we could need and great views. The kitchen is well equipped. We will defiantly be coming here again, hopefully next year. Thank you for the card it was a lovely thought.

Perfect location for the dog friendly beach right across the road and coastal path walk. Lovely big secure garden for the dogs to enjoy. Nice little touches with the welcome hamper, coffee, tea and milk and the cake was delicious. Doggy items also provided just in case you forgot yours. All cleaning items were provide. Lots of books and games for rainy days, not that we needed them as the weather was glorious. The cottage had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We were sad to leave but look forward to returning

A fridge freezer would be much better especially when buying food for 4 adults for the week.

Everything was perfect from entering to leaving. Relaxing and inviting. Felt homely. Perfect little location. Superb enclosed garden for our dog, knowing he couldn’t escape helped us to relax and not worry. He couldn’t wait to walk over to the beach, beautiful view from the bedroom window. We will be back. Nice touches from the owner, tray bake left for us to enjoy. I miss it already.

The location is fantastic, a few steps from the gate and you are on the beach. The dogs loved the garden too, nice and secure for them to explore. Property was well equipped and comfortable, furnished to a very high standard. Just be careful of the beams upstairs lol. Would definitely stay again.

What an amazing place.

The cottage was comfy and cosy and we felt so at home here. My dog had the most amazing time being so close to the beach for an early morning walk with no one around but the seagulls and oystercatchers was bliss for us both. We all felt a little sad at having to leave but we will definitely be back.

Wonderful cottage, a stones throw away from the beach.

We arrived at the tail end of storm Eunice, and had delayed our arrival by a day. The owners had thoughtfully provided a flask of hot water and flashlights in case the water and electricity had gone off. Fortunately, they weren’t needed, but it was a very nice touch.. A welcome hamper with milk, cake, tea, coffee and sugar was a treat too. The cottage was spotless, warm and cosy. Very well appointed, with all you could need. Our dogs enjoyed the garden. Thank you for sharing your lovely holiday home with us.

Fantastic break at Pentowyn.

Everything was as described. Downstairs was roomy yet cozy, with excellent facilities. The lounge area was great, we loved the log burner! Upstairs was as described - the headroom was reduced but it didn’t cause any issues. Very comfortable beds. We loved being on the beach, perfect for taking out our dog, and we did some great hiking too. Very useful books and maps on dog walking we’re provided too. The finish of the cottage was superb, as was the level of cleanliness. We’ll definitely return.

The cottage is situated at the end of a street opposite the beach.

Very close to main supermarkets and has everything In the cottage you would require for a nice stay. Books and games are also available and we completed the 1000 piece jigsaw on a rainy day. The only downside was that people are constantly pulling up and parking their vehicles outside the property and main bedroom window from 7am for beach access and arnt the quietest. A lovely stay overall

The property was just beautiful, done to a very high standard, there is limited head space upstairs, but the rest of the cottage definitely makes up for that,everything you could ask for and a beautiful garden.

We couldn't get over how close to the beach we were!! Out of the gate and cross the road and your there, it was perfect for taking my dog for walks, it is a popular dog friendly beach, even in November,so does get busy outside but this wasn't a problem for us. We will definitely be back Dawn and Carl

Excellent property, everything as listed and looking to book again next year

Stayed here for a long weekend, wish I had booked the whole week, did not want to come home.

The cottage is spacious very clean and comfortable. The view is fab and has a lovely garden as well. Walks straight from the door so our dogs loved it. We will be back again as its a little gem of a find.

A stunning cottage loved the low beams upstairs made to the character and fun of property.

the well maintained and garden size was impeccable.great location for dog walking.we do have a couple of suggestions for the owners.the chest of drawers in ground floor bedroom is too high my elderly mum could not reach for glasses or drinks also the bathroom floor drops as a step and blends in so do not see the step could do with a black yellow strip there.apart from this enjoyed staying very much would like to come back.

The low ceilings and beams upstairs are a challenge for taller people.

Hard to avoid banging your head several times during a stay.

The owners left a lovely welcome pack. The location is absolutely perfect and we found it a great base to explore Anglesey.

Great location.

Very close to the beach and shops. Beautifully appointed cottage. Felt like home. The bedrooms however are very small and upstairs in particular very restricted headroom. The smaller bedrooms are suitable for children only.

The cottage was roomy and comfortable a bit tight upstairs for headroom but that is to be expected with the conversion.

Kitchen faculties very modern and good with bath and showers all new. This is a newly converted cottage and done to a good spec we had the fortune of the heatwave so utilised the large garden and took the advantage of using the beach which is as close to your front gate as you can get. An added bonus is that the local amenities are a minutes drive away. A great place all in all and definitely worth a consideration when looking at a place to stay

Found the constant cars pulling up outside with dogs from 6am to late barking a reason we wouldn't go back as this disturbed sleep in the mornings although we have dogs ourselves it was causing them to bark as well.

Shame people don't use the carpark next door. Very hot in the restricted head room bedroom

A real home from home, had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

A really well thought out property, renovated to a high standard. Super close to the beach which was perfect for our beach loving pups. Within walking distance to the shops & pretty central to many beautiful walks. Really good to see the owners take on board comments from previous visitors too - the garden is now enclosed, something which had been previously mentioned as a problem. Can't rate this property highly enough, really sad to leave but hope to return soon.

Pentowyn is a cute little cottage perfectly situated just a few steps from the coastal path and a nice wide beach.

When the tide's out, there's a huge expanse of sand to exercise dogs and humans alike! And at the far end of the beach there's the lovely Penrhos nature reserve where we found secluded coves and wonderful woodland walks. The owners have renovated the property to a high standard with great fixtures and fittings including a fabulous log burner which guaranteed a cosy day spent indoors when it was wet & windy outside. We were lucky with the weather for most of our week and we were able to make full use of the spacious garden and the little patio area with table and chairs (these weren't on any of the photos of the cottage when we booked so think it would be a good idea to update them to show this nice outdoor dining area). We noted that a previous visitor had mentioned that the garden wasn't totally enclosed, but we found it to be completely fenced off (perhaps new?) and our cocker spaniel was safely confined no matter how hard she tried to find an escape route! There's a plethora of shops, takeaways and restaurants all just minutes away, making Pentowyn a really convenient choice too - we had a really great week and would highly recommend it for a memorable break.

It was a lovely cottage right by a busy dog walking beach, which was great But I take a great deal of time looking at the right cottage for us and our 2 dogs and the 1 of the main things we look for is an enclosed garden.

Unfortunately it was not, so we were unable to let the dogs out on there own and when we did go out with them they managed to escape so easily as in jump over the low wall while people and dogs walking past or just step through the roped wall which just led them onto the ajoining car park. We could not relax and so did not enjoy the experience as we should. If your garden is not enclosed please say that so people can make the right choice.

very nice property very close to the beach, dog walkers have a good path and the beach.

a shopping park for supermarkets close by. we had a comfy stay the bed very comfortable. we would highly reccomend this property.

Beautiful cottage in a nice location.

Stones throw away from local amenities. Short drives to beautiful beaches, Snowdonia and tourist hotspots. Nice to escape amid the crazy pandemic.

Me and my hubby (and our cocker spaniel) booked Pentowyn for a long weekend away to celebrate our second anniversary and what a weekend we had.

The cottage it’s gorgeous and has been renovated really well and tastefully. We book these type of places for the location as we like to go out walking and this location was better than we anticipated, it’s literally right on the beach and should be advertised as a sea view property. I found myself setting alarms for earlier than normal to appreciate the sun rise views out of the bedroom window and even popping across to the beach to really take it all in as the place was so quiet and peaceful at that time. Short drives away took us to Holyhead mountain, red dwarf bay and other beautiful walks perfect for dogs. The garden was huge and the same with the drive, all enclosed so perfect for just letting the dog roam around but could imagine would be great for families too. For tall families/people, upstairs has very low ceilings, this isn’t a complaint as it’s an old building and the property is quirky, we were fine with it as we didn’t really spend our time up there. More tea towels or maybe a kitchen roll would have been good but that is literally the only slight niggle we could find with this place. The cottage and its location were amazing.

Couldn't have asked for better. The beach was great for taking the dogs for long walks and enjoying the scenery. The perfect place for a relaxing holiday and close enough to visit many more outstanding beaches. Hoping to visit again soon.

The cottage is beautiful & was sparkling clean on arrival.

It had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. The owner Jane responded to a couple of queries immediately and was very helpful. The cottage is located just minutes from Penhros Coastal Park with woodland walks as well as access to the coastal path. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cottage.

Perfect location for taking the dogs on a beach walk every day. Lots of useful/ large supermarkets within a 5min walking distance. Lovely views, you can watch the ferries come in and out the dock all day long. The island was beautiful and some absolutely amazing views.

Absolutely loved the cottage, loved it's location and had best holiday for a long time and the best we've had in UK.

First time we ever had a cottage that was even better than we had hoped, let alone expected.

Wow this is such a gorgeous cottage.

Immaculately clean and everything and more to have a relaxing break . The weather was shocking but the log burner made it very cosy . The roll top bath also helped with bubble baths . Our girls ( dogs ) loved the beach right at the side of the cottage . Only one tiny problem was the low beams upstairs. This only added to the character and charm though .

The cottage was very cosy and warm.

Everything was of good quality and having an outside tap was a boon for rinsing off the dogs after time on the beach. A few steps out of the cottage and we were on a green walk which led to the beach. We stayed for 4 nights and came away refreshed and relaxed.
