A well presented holiday home in a great location for the beaches and lovely walks in Snowdonia.

We took our three dogs who enjoyed the safe and secure garden and especially the beaches to run about on. The property has everything you need to feel at home and a small Spar and other shops in the town ensure you have supplies on hand. Porthmadog has larger supermarkets for a more comprehensive shop. We particularly enjoyed the bays between Porthmadog and Black rock sands to walk our dogs. The stunning scenery of Snowdonia are easy to access from the property and we enjoyed many walks along gorges and hills. A lovely week in a lovely property.

This bungalow was simply perfect and cannot be faulted,stunning views,brilliant outside space and inside really was just 'Wow!

'.Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a totally relaxed and easy holiday,nestled on a Welsh hillside,there aren't really words that can convey just how special this place is.

Everthing was lovely only thing was we found the mattresses were very hard.

The photos really don't do it justice and the scenery out of the window was incredible. We found the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and were very pleasantly surprised to find a brand new, spacious shower in the bathroom. We have 2 dogs who had plenty of space to run around in the secure garden The property is really nicely located for so many of the Snowdonia attractions - we particularly enjoyed our trip on the Ffestiniog railway - even more so when we were able to alight at the top of the village and walk 5 minutes back to the property. We look forward to returning next year to continue our exploration of Snowdonia.

Trem Y Foel was a really lovely property, very clean, spacious and well equipped.

The view from the property was beautiful and we found the area peaceful, lots of places to visit just a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the fresh flowers and welsh cakes were also a lovely touch on arrival. If we could change anything, some outdoor seating would of been nice, we have two large, young dogs and spent a fair bit of time standing about in the garden, also the gate was very easy to open so we had to use an old wood panel from the side of the shed to block it off but we would absolutely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

The property is ideally located for visiting Snowdon and beyond, with interesting places like Portmeirion Italian Village and many castles within easy reach. The property is well equipped, comfortable with everything you need to ensure you have a relaxing holiday. The gardens are securely fenced so our dog was able to roam around with no worries. We had a lovely surprise in that the bathroom had been refurbished and now has an excellent shower facility. Highly recommend this property

Just a lovely place with great views garden great for the dogs

Our second time staying at Trem y Foel and it didn't disappoint.

A super comfortable, clean house, with everything we needed. We loved having the secure garden. It's perfectly situated for trips around Snowdonia.

We spent a relaxing week enjoying the garden and views.

Accommodation was homely and spacious the only thing was the small shower and the hot water control otherwise everything else was manageable.

Great location, beautiful view,the house was clean and kitchen was well equipped just a small suggestion if they could have large cooking pot and a fan for the bedroom because it was quite hot when we stayed otherwise definitely recommend

We have just had a 10 night stay here, the property its self is lovely, everything you need, shops close by, views are amazing, sofas are very comfy, and brilliant WiFi if you have kids like we do, garden was fantastic, very private and safe as we travelled with teens and a 5 year old, he spent most of his time in the garden.

Brilliant dishwasher too, loved not having to wash pots, but the views from the kitchen window was amazing, so wouldn't of minded if they wasn't a dishwasher too, also loved having a washer as didn't bring any dirty clothes home, also a good clothes airer in garden too, Water is lovely and hot too. Location was good, only a few minutes drive from portmeirion and porthmadog. Lovely Thai takeaway too, kabab shop and Chinese all within walking distance from the house, we had a fantastic stay, nowt bad to say really, just a few points, they really needs to be a bigger pan in kitchen, oven isn't the greatest but it works, but could do with upgrading, and mattresses on bunk bed are very thin, so could do with a topper for abit more comfort, but other then that we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back,

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at Trem Y Foel - upon entering We were met with a welcoming / modern / clean property - only 2 slight negatives - aged Cooker in otherwise functional Kitchen and Bathroom ( as commented on Review by previous Guest ) - was very dated - at least needs Mixer Hand Shower on Bath taps - very difficult to rinse Bath or wash Hair without using Shower afterwards Weather was VERY Hot - but better than wind & rain Thank You

We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the view from the front of the house.

Bathrooms are a bit dated but fully functional and spotless. Kitchen was well equipped except for a lack of large pans to go on the hob - we struggled as a party of 4 adults, for 6 cooking would have been very difficult.

There was everything you needed to have a very comfortable holiday. Great location with amazing views.

Property was very clean, lights,/ heating on when we arrived.

There was some staining on the sofa & vinyl covering on table puckered. I spoke to the caretaker about this & she said they were aware. Since there was a good housekeeping bond I felt it was advisable to mention these, did not want any issues after our stay. Everything was perfect, well equipped. Dogs loved the garden, very quiet area, just what we needed. We had to leave on Thursday due to having a family funeral on Friday. I did want to book the property again for January but unfortunately not available that month Not very happy with Sykes customer service when booking, being charged £25 extra, reason given 'market forces' prices can fluctuate, since I needed to be away at that time at short notice I had no choice.

We loved this property.

It is spacious, modern, clean and had everything we needed for our stay in North Wales. We found the information folder about local walks very useful. There are plenty of places to visit, within easy reach of the property. We loved it so much that we've booked for next year!

Great Dog friendly garden. Everything you need for your stay to be comfortable. Great base for exploring North Wales.

Our stay was refreshing and worth while.

Friendly environment and lovely and kind neighbor. Quiet and peaceful serene. A pure get away environment to recoup orate from noisy environments. . We had fun coming to North Wales. The property was as described but the mattress in the bunk bed needs to be changed and the toilet seat needs to be fixed. Every other things were in order.

The bungalow was clean and very comfortable, it was nice to see a well equipped kitchen where we could easily cook nice meals.

We enjoyed the outside space too, very secure and lots of space for the dogs to play. The only small negative was the hand tool part of the hoover had no suction, so when we came to clean the soft furnishings before we left we had to do it by hand. Definitely would like to stay again soon.

The cottage was lovely with everything we needed and a secure garden for the dogs.

Our only criticism was the mattress in both the double bedrooms as these definitely need upgrading as they were very lumpy and uncomfortable.

The mattress in both double rooms were very uncomfortable, we both didn’t have a decent nights sleep, also lounge sofa cushions very hard, Larger bedroom very cold radiator did not work had to use extra blankets

We had a lovely time, The views from the bungalow are beautiful.

It was clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed. It's in a quiet location, but only a short distance from the town. We would recommend the Griffin pub for food .

I already left a note with the feedback for the owner but I'd like to say that if you are considering a holiday with your dogs, this property is great but the area is not.

There aren't any parks nearby that you can let your dogs have a run around.

We had a wonderful time, the house was even better than described and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was perfect to let the dogs wonder around and the house was spotlessly clean and tidy. Plenty of local attractions within a short drive and the shops were really close by.
