Frongoch Cottage

We had a great stay at Frongogh Cottage, from the weather, the walks and the entertaining sheep it was terrific.

Special mention has to go to the enormous comfy bed….

Lovely comfortable accommodation, didn’t need a tv as the view was so beautiful and great walks nearby.

Well equipped with luxury towels, bedding etc and would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

The views are amazing down to the beach and within an easy stroll away. The local pub is lovely and the village is nearby for all your shopping essentials .The hosts were lovely and gave us our privacy. We will definitely return to this gem of a find

A Perfect Anglesey Getaway We had the most wonderful long weekend at Frongoch Cottage.

The whole place was spotless, beautifully kept, and incredibly cosy, warm, inviting, and thoughtfully prepared. The supply of wood for the log burner was such a lovely touch, and the views from the bedroom and the lounge were absolutely breathtaking, looking straight out over Red Wharf Bay. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the heated blankets on both beds were a real treat during our February stay. It made the cottage feel even more homely and comfortable. The location was ideal, with stunning coastal walks right from the doorstep, including a scenic 25 minute stroll to The Ship Inn and The Boathouse Restaurant, both of which served excellent food. Frongoch Cottage is set in a truly beautiful part of Anglesey and made the perfect base for exploring the rest of the island. A special mention must go to Brenda, the host. Living on-site, she was always available, warm, and incredibly helpful. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and her care really added to the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended.

Post-Christmas family break in this lovely cottage.

Attached to the rear of the owners farmhouse,, the property is warm, comfortable and well equipped to a high standard, with wood provided for the log burner. Sheep and horses nearby for animal lovers. Ideal location for exploring by car, or on foot. Red Wharf Bay has great pubs. So much to see on Anglesey. Drive to Newborough for exquisite walks through the forest to the beautiful beach. Highly recommend this property for a stay in this wonderful location. .

The views are amazing and its just the place to relax and reset. The property is well equiped and the lounge is wonderfully cosy for those rainy days.

Wonderful stay at Frongoch Cottage, clean and comfortable and well equipped, everything you need for a great stay.

Beautiful views across Red Wharf Bay, with walks directly from the cottage. There are two pubs in the village as well as a well stocked Spar shop. Walk 10 minutes down to the bay then follow the coastal path to The Ship Inn for a great meal. Brenda and Dewi made us feel very welcome, thank you.

Frongoch Cottage is stunning in every aspect from the interior to the location.

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble they want you to have a fantastic holiday and we did. Thank you. The garden is amazing and the views are spectacular of Red Warf Bay. There are 2 chairs at the bottom of the garden looking out onto the view a favourite place to have your coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.You are tucked away but are in walking distance to the pub Bull Inn you must visit lovely food, welcoming staff and portions are huge just what you need after a busy day. We cannot wait to go back.

A beautiful cottage immaculately clean and with everything we needed for a smooth and relaxing holiday. We enjoyed spending days in the local area, exploring the shoreline and sampling the food in the local pubs. Our hosts were brilliant and will look forward to meeting them again, as we have no doubt we will be back. I totally recommend this cottage for a wonderful break.

Lovely cottage.

Comfortable beds and everything we needed in the kitchen. Great location - quiet but close to village with pubs, shop at filling station. Good view over the bay from the living room and back bedroom. Ten minute walk down the lane to the bay and coastal path - then a 40 minute walk round to Red Wharf Bay and pubs etc there. Had a great week walking and relaxing.

Excellent property.

Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Living room was comfortable, large tv and bluetooth speaker was a bonus. Bedrooms were comfortable with large double beds. Location was ideal, peaceful and quiet. We had a great time would recommend to anyone.

A beautiful annexe, very tastefully converted, extremely comfortable, more so than pictures suggest.

Very well equipped. Only problem is. Cottage style very steep staircase. Brenda is very welcoming and helpful. A quiet corner of beauty with great walks from the doorstep, yet not too remote or isolated.

Fantastic annex to the owners main house, On our arrival Brenda made us feel very welcome.

The Cottage is located next to the owners small holding and served as a great base for exploring the island, The property is modern and very clean , the stairs up to the bedrooms are at a quite step angle ( good workout for the legs .Lol) . 2 large bedrooms and a modern well lite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Lovely, warm and refreshing after a days walking. The only minor criticism and I think it's been mentioned before is the lack of wardrobe space. If the 2 vanity dressing tables could be replaced with wardrobes this would be so much better. Kitchen is well stocked . Overall a great cottage and we had fantastic weather for our stay.

We had a wonderful holiday at Frongoch Cottage.

This has to be one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The cottage is very comfortable with everything you could wish for. It was lovely to be able to sit in the large garden and survey the green countryside and watch the sheep grazing in the field. Brenda the host was a delight and very friendly and could not have done anymore for us than she did. We would recommend this cottage to everyone wishing to stay in Anglesey

Stunning property, with amazing views!

Spotlessly clean with everything you could need, a real home from home. Plenty of walks nearby and great base for the island, we covered all over, some really nice bays off the beaten track that we found were deserted whilst treaddur,benllech were very busy! Church bay is a must! We will be returning in the future if the cottage is available!!

We’ve just had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at Frongoch cottage.

This is one of the best places we have stayed at. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed including lovely comfy beds. The view across the bay is beautiful. Thank you to Brenda for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Anglesey as the location and cottage were perfect!

A beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings and a great location.

One negative, its a shame there is no washing machine. Would highly recommend staying there and will be booking again later in the year.

The cottage was well equipped and in a great location.

It was as described in the listing. We enjoyed our stay there but the only thing we would point out is that the heating in the property isn't very good. The only heating in the lounge was the log fire and we found it cold until the log fire took hold. Maybe a plug in heater could be provided. Other than that we had a lovely break away.

The owner couldn't do enough for you. Even storm Cieron couldn't spoil the holiday as we just lit the fire and hunkered down.
