“The most spectacular view awaits you as you pull up at this property.”

The property was warm and welcoming as were the owners. Everything that was needed is in the property, even mince pies on our arrival for our Christmas stay. The property was clean and towels and bedding supplied. Is situated not far from anywhere in north wales, great base camp. One pub and corner shop in the village and nearest food shop around 20 minutes away. Would recommend this property to any one wishing to visit north wales. Thank you for a wonderful weeks stay

“We had a wonderful stay in Llys-y-Wennol cottage.”

We stayed 6 nights at the end of August. The cottage is a short walk to the village of Penmachno. The cottage is in a good location as it's a short drive to all places of interest in Snowdonia. The cottage is also well equipped with everything you need for you to enjoy your stay and and the owners are a lovely couple. If I ever plan to go back to Snowdonia I would definitely book the cottage again.

“Warm on arrival which was lovely.”

A cosy vibe overall :) just a few things worth noting - would be good if there was some soap in the bathroom and sponges in kitchen. Perhaps a few more towels. Ground floor felt a bit dirty / could do with a proper clean and mopping. Beds were super squeaky but again not a massive issue. Nothing major though, we definitely enjoyed the stay and the bench outside was a super edition - we loved having breakfasts outside in the morning.

Had everything we needed, in a lovely spot with surrounding views and of cause mr and mrs Robert’s were lovely too. Would definitely go back there if we go to that area again.

The small, peaceful village of Penmachno is situated in the beautiful Machno Valley, just 4 miles from the popular town of Betws-y-Coed. Surrounded by woodland, magnificent mountains and flowing rivers, the whole area is a haven for walkers, birdwatchers, mountain bikers and climbers, whilst Betws-y-Coed itself offers a good range of shops, pubs and cafes. Here the River Conwy meets its three tributaries, creating a host of cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges throughout the surrounding countryside, the most famous of which is the magnificent waterfall at Swallow Falls, situated where the River Llugwy meets with a spectacular chasm, creating a sight not to be missed!
