What guests are saying
This cottage is in an amazing location half way up a mountain.
Its a cosy space, and welcoming, plus the owner is very accessible and helfpul. However it could do with a deep clean past the superficial (under beds, the porch area which was full of dirt and the last guests' recycling when we arrived) and a general update - it reminded me of my older bachelor brother's flat - its functional but in need of some finesse! Old soap dispensers in the shower fall off the wall every time you brush past them, they clearly haven't been used for ages - why not just remove them?! Although it sleeps 6, the kitchen is small and the fridge / freezer is no way near enough capacity for 6 - we had done a supermarket shop for the week for the 5 of us and there was no room to store food or keep it chilled. BUT there were some welcome goodies which were much appreciated, plenty of hot water, a good supply of toilet roll, which isn't always the case, and we had a lovely week here and would recommend it for a cosy stay in a great location if you are more about the outdoors than the indoors. We had a really lovely stay, but I think it would really benefit from a bit more care and attention.
I’ve sent a complaint in, awaiting response.
Amazing location, wood burner was great and you can buy fresh eggs from the farm.
Ability to hike, scramble and go to a pub without getting in the car was a real bonus. I had a great time, my 6’4 other half found the bed a bit short, and as it’s a cottage there are a few low ceilings / door frames.
