Lavender Cottage

We enjoyed a few days staying in Lavender Cottage which was clean, warm and comfortable.

A cosy and comfortable cottage for two, conveniently located just outside of Caernarfon and within easy reach of the coast and Anglesey to the north, and the splendours of Eryri to the south.

It has all you need for a restful break in this wonderful part of Wales. The proprietor Rhian was helpful and responsive to our communications pre-holiday, and I have no doubt that we will return!

We had a delightful stay at Lavender cottage, lovely location, and everything is provided within the cottage, unfortunately we had a power cut, which was totally beyond the owners control, but she kept us updated, and supplied bottled water.

Just no cooking that night, so a takeaway

Barn convertion. Modern and in character with the building. Very warm and cozy in November. Well equipted kitchen. Great oven and cooker. Comfortable couches. Very comfortable bed and bed linen. Access to washing machine and iron. Everything we needed. Close access to towns and Snowdonia National Park. We had a lovely week. Owner on site. Friendly and helpful. Very high standard. Simply a lovely place to stay.

A modern build but with some olde world charm too. Close enough to local amenities and attractions, whilst also feeling remote and secluded, with the benefit of being on a private farm. We would stay again when visiting the area and have no hesitation recommending to others.

Lavender cottage is in great quiet location but only a few minutes from Caernarvon.

It is very comfortable and well equipped. The welcome pack was a nice touch and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful setting. Good communication. Games room was a nice addition but some of the equipment was a little tired - would be great to fix the football table and provide pool balls.

Lavender cottage was a wonderful setting, well maintained, peaceful with lovely views.

The owner was friendly and helpful. Near lots of things to do. Also we were visited daily by a very sweet cat. I would highly recommend. We had a wonderful time and the weather was considerably kind to us.

Absolutely perfect cottage, location, cleanliness and comfort.

We highly recommend this cottage and will return. The lovely host made us very welcome and was available but not intrusive in any way. Ideal location for exploring North Wales, Snowdonia and Anglesey. If you want peace and quiet, a homely, clean and well equipped cottage and the most stunning scenery then this is the place for you

It has everything you could possibly need to make a wonderful holiday. We would recommend this property and will return to it the next time we are in Wales

We'd never stayed/visited North Wales before and looked for a place close to Snowdonia.

We're so pleased we chose Lavender Cottage; it was ideally situated; beautifully presented and in an idyllic, peaceful setting. Rianne was the perfect host with lots of useful advice. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to visit that area.

Great place to stay we loved staying here.

It was really clean and cosy. The pictures on walls were very good and the cottage was in a beautiful area of Wales with mountains and Snowdon just down the road. Have an already recommended to many friends.

After a very long journey mainly due to roadworks and accidents we arrived at Lavender Cottage in the dark later than anticipated but Rihan welcomed us and showed us into the cottage which was warm cosy and spotlessly clean. We had some Welsh cakes and a welcome pack of biscuits waiting for us!. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot. The cottage is in an ideal place to explore the surrounding area. Lavender cottage was very well equipped and in our opinion if anyone stays here and is not satisfied then they are very hard to please. Mr & Mrs Wright Essex

A very comfortable bed which is important after a long day exploring!

There is plenty of parking and the accommodation is very quiet. In a good location to explore Caernarfon, Conwy, Llandudno, Llanberis, Snowdonia and Anglesey.

Accommodating us at very short notice and allowing our grandson to accompany us.

Beautiful setting and immaculately maintained. Cottage well equipped and outside space lovely for evenings. Games room excellent for our grandson! Lovely welcome and very friendly people all round - will certainly recommend to friends and family.

A delightful cottage in impeccable landscaped surroundings, and so peaceful.

The cottages are a prime location to explore North Wales, within easy reach of the main attractions.

The cottage itself was beautiful, extremely clean & everything there you could need. If I came back to North Wales, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The cottage was bigger and more comfortable than we expected.

There were lovely touches such as tea and coffee provided and toiletries in the bathroom. It was spotlessy clean and the outside gardens were beautifully maintained. We would have appreciated WiFi access in the cottage instead of having to go to the games room to use our laptops. I was preparing for an interview whilst staying at the cottage and had to sit on the floor in the games room to do the internet research I needed to do.

Very friendly and accommodating, went out of their way to make us to feel welcome, even went into their attic to get a baby walker for our son!

Other holiday makers inthe other cottages were also very pleasant. All in all a relaxing and enjoyable environment to use as a base to explore Snowdonia!

Cottage to a reasonable standard, disappointed with machinery noise on site until 10.

30pm and again following morning at 6.15am. Would not stay at this site again.
