It`s such a pleasure to hear that you chose Glanllyn Bach for your families` celebration stay Ian. Wonderful to know that all went to plan and everyone had a good time at the property and in the play barn. We had a target age range for many of the play barn games to ensure all generations are catered for, from young children to those grown-up big kids! There are so many locations on the island to explore and to have the Oyster Catcher just down the road is so convenient, as you mention. Thank you for your kind words about the welcome hamper, good to know that it added to your stay. It was a pleasure to host you all, including your dog (although I did get the feeling he didn`t like me too much, or am I being over-sensitive?) and we hope to welcome you back for another memorable holiday in the future!

I think the games room and hot tub help to make the property more of a destination as well as a handy base for exploring the island and most importantly, the secure field and paddock means that our furry guests are catered for too! To hear that Glanllyn Bach exceeded your expectations and that the layout of the property suited you all is fantastic news. The plan was to create rooms where guests can get together for some catching up and also places and spaces for some peaceful solitude if needed. I`m especially pleased that the Play Barn, hot tub and gardens provided some good family fun although I can`t take any credit for the Red Arrows turning up and putting on an impromptu performance! It sounds like you made the most of the local area too with visits to The Oyster Catcher, beach and the Maelog lakeside walks. I hope you were all able to take away some fantastic memories and I`d be very happy if you decided to return to do it all over again, plus more if that`s possible to fit into the schedule.

Yes, keeping the kids happy is certainly a priority especially when they can`t take advantage of the outdoor space due to the weather and so it`s good to know that the Play Barn kept them occupied and gives them somewhere to let off steam. Amazing praise indeed Julie! Really good to hear that you all had a fantastic time and I`m pleased to hear your appreciation for the quality and comfort of the beds in particular. The super king mattresses are supplied by Harrison Spinks (also known as the Goldilocks mattresses at Glanllyn Bach) and deliver a wonderful restful sleep. A dip in the hot tub at night is a fantastic experience as we`re in a Dark Skies location with very low light pollution and so this combined with the peace and quiet are perfect conditions to relax and stargaze and if you`re lucky, witness the Northern Lights.
