“We have holidayed in Anglesey for over 20 years, mainly in Rhosneigr, but St Winifred’s has to rate as the top place so far.”

The bungalow was equipped with everything we could possibly need , the sleeping areas are first class and the lounge was so comfortable in every way. The garden was brilliant and perfectly safe for our little dog to potter about , knowing she couldn’t get out. We would love to stay again and will be in touch as soon as dates for 2027 can be sorted. Thanks for having us. Jannice and family.

“This is the second time we have stayed at this cottage.”

It’s all one level has a nice open plan living room dining area. Doors leading into the patio area at the front. There is also one at the back we didn’t use. I was with 2 teenagers and the wifi works well which is a big consideration for me, as I have an autistic child. Property is clean well stocked of all needed in a kitchen and a bottle of wine after a long drive was well received. The area surrounding is close to all amenities and beaches. Rhosneiger itself is a lovely place and the oyster catcher pub/restaurant is worth a visit. Parking is tight if you have a large car but I managed ok with a swift. Anglesey generally has lots of special places too many to list but travelling around is easy. My daughter loves surfing and there’s a surf beach nearby but unfortunately for us the weather wasn’t suitable during the week to surf this time. The beach is dog friendly. Plenty of walks in the area to do. There’s an RAF base nearby which you can get closer to and watch the planes. There’s a certain amount of noise associated with it but it didn’t bother us and it wouldn’t stop me visiting Rhosneiger again.

Perfect location, very clean and tidy, really well equipt. We had such a wonderful stay here, it was perfect for our multi generational party, everyone said it was a stunning cottage! It's minutes from the beach and the town centre. Loads of lovely walks on the doorstep, perfect for our little dog. Would definitely stay here again!

“This is a fantastic bungalow.”

Easy walking to the beach and shops. The four bedrooms and two well furbished bathrooms were fabulous, comfy mattresses, clean modern bedding. It was warm, and light with lots of outdoor spaces to expand into if the weather is warm. Everything worked though i struggled with the hob on a couple of occasions (might have been me but not sure). The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans and cutlery. So cooks will not struggle to find what they need. But there are nice restaurants in the village and surrounding area (Oyster catcher is very nice). Miles of sandy beaches. The only negatives which would not stop me staying again were that the carpets and rugs needed a bit of a clean as they allow pets who had left some furriness behind and the parking is tight if you have two big vehicles. We managed with a tiny car and a proace verso but only just. I didn't realise/hadn't remembered there was a military airbase belonging to the RAF so the planes ahead most sunny days were a bit of a detraction for me. Great area for cycling with lots of quiet lanes.

“This is an amazing place in an ideal location !”

Very close to a beech , but tucked just far enough away so as to be so peaceful & quiet when returning from an active day , we've stayed here twice now & it already feels like a second home to us , we most definatley will return again ! A real credit to its owners ! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting " THE ideal stay on Angelsey !

“Our 3rd stay at St Winifred's and not the last !”

A really lovely, bright, well equipped 'home from home' bungalow. Very warm and comfortable, with good quality furnishings and beds / bedding. 2 minutes walk to the lovely, long beach and a few minutes form the town with a few cafes and restaurants. Dinner twice at Mojo's, which was extremely good. Our thanks to the owner, Lisa, for another lovely holiday. Lisa responds quickly to any queries. We would highly recommend St Winifred's.

“Very well equipped and super clean.”

Everything we needed in the kitchen, except instruction booklets for the appliances. It would have been useful to know how long the washing machine took, and I couldn't manage to set the microwave, also a previous visitor put salt in the wrong compartment in the dishwasher. Parking was a slight problem and we don't have a large car. A neighbour watched as we arrived and turned round in his drive, which we can understand could be a nuisance. Perhaps the note in the information book about parking could be put on the website so people are aware before arriving. None of these small points would stop us booking again. Lots of lovely walks for the dog and the beaches were wonderful and quiet.

“Fab cottage to be fair, comfy beds although I wish I’d taken my own pillow!”

Comfy long sofa Excellent location for the beaches and the many good eateries. Only downside is the lack of planting in the ‘garden’ as it’s all paved and very stark. So to make it perfect would be a hot tub and planting! All in all I’d recommend St Winfred’s and am likely to make a return visit myself!

“We enjoyed a lovely week in your spacious modern bungalow with the sea just down the road.”

The front and back patios were secure for our dog, which always makes things easier. The local chippy was excellent, and handy to have a few cafes, ice cream shop and convenience store so close. The weather was unusually mild for October and on the windy days it was lovely to see all the kite surfers, it was the perfect bay for them. We had some lovely dog walks along the beach and enjoyed a meal at the Oyster Catcher, just a 5 minute drive away, our dog came too which was a bonus. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday in your lovely bungalow.

“St winifreds is a beautiful, very well presented bungalow, with everything you need for that home from home experience.”

Our group ranged from age 12 to 88 and it was perfect for us all. The end of September, there was only 2 days out of 7. we didn't leave the property because of the weather, but there were plenty of games to entertain us. A stones throw from the beach, we had great fun rock pooling, crabbing, exploring. The beaches are fab and the dog cried when he had to come out of the sea. Lisa the owner was very helpful, though we never met her, she was a phone call away.

A great location and walking distance to the beach. The village also has many cafes and restaurants. We parked the car and did not drive it at all for the rest of the week. We had great communication with our host Lisa who offered help if anything was needed. We never had to use that offer. Highly recommend it.

“We had an excellent low season stay at St.”

Winifreds which is conveniently located just off High Street in Rhosneigr. The house is very well kept and decorated. All the bedrooms were of good proportions and will comfortably accommodate a family of 8. There is a large dining table so that meal times can be enjoyed together. To the front of the house is a good sized patio which catches the sun in the afternoon and garden chairs and a table are provided. To the rear and one side the patio continues providing a private space. We have already booked a return visit.

“The bungalows layout was not as expected with the only true en suite was linked to two single beds which were at opposite ends of the room.”

The other three bedrooms shared one bathroom which had shower over bath. This latter bathroom had a ‘wobbly’ toilet seat which we were told would be fixed. This never happened and we were concerned as one person was unsteady on her feet. Also we would have liked a broom and brush and dustpan. Would mention that the dishcloth left was unhygienic and put in bin.

“What a fabulous place!”

It’s a tardis - so big and spacious inside. Incredible location and just so beautifully created into a gorgeous home from home. We have had such a wonderful week here. It has everything you could need. Both beaches are only minutes easy walk, as is the ice cream parlour! It was so quiet, and we had a wonderfully relaxing week. We loved that it was totally secure front and back for our child and dog to play safely. Plus the great access to the back of the property meant looking after boards and wetsuits was super easy and ensured sand stayed outside. Loved it! Can’t wait to go back !

“St Winifred’s is a lovely spacious bungalow.”

It is well equipped throughout, especially the kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable as well as the lounge seating. It was lovely and clean throughout. There have been comments about on-site parking but we parked two large cars with no problem. With it being so close to the beach it was ideal for us and our dog. The outside area is totally enclosed and safe for dogs.

“Situated in a quiet location in the village but only 3 mins walk to a fantastic beach.”

The facilities included in the bungalow are excellent and it is a very modern, comfortable holiday home which is very well maintained. Provides an excellent base to explore the island. There are a good choice of places to eat and drink only a few minutes away. The two slight negatives about the property are the car parking, very easy to drive in but especially difficult to reverse out with a large car. There is however ample room for two cars. The other slight issue was the noise from the jets taking off and landing at RAF Valley. The end of the runway is very close to the village. This tended to be around 8am each morning and late afternoon on some of the days. Larger shops such as Morrisons, Asda and Tesco are only 20mins drive away at Bangor. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay in an excellent property and we hope to return.

St Winifred's is a lovely tucked away home which is only minutes from the beach and amenities including restaurants & shops. So not far at all to carry all that's needed to set up on the beach for the day, and not far to pop back for anything. It is really well equipped and Lisa the owner couldn't have been more helpful prior to our arrival. There's lots of outside space front and back so there's plenty of room to store water sports equipment. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you.

“We arrived at St Winnifreds in wild weather but greeted with a warm bungalow, spotless, spacious and welcoming.”

The location is superb, close to restaurants, the beach and the ' Pub'. All 5 - 10 minutes. There were 4 adults,1 child and 1 baby. The puppy kept us on our toes. You can park up and forget the car unless you want to look round the island. If self catering, no need to take any food, just order online and Tesco will deliver. We took our own cot for baby, we preferred to do that. It's just as easy to pack it in. The high chair was OK. It was quiet so no disturbance. All in all, despite the weather we had a great time and recommend a holiday there

“The property was in a great location and lots if very nice touches, such as poo bags for the dog.”

The property was very well equipped and nicely laid out. Great room for the kids to play in. The heating was controlled by the owner and as it was November and it was freezing. It was really cold when we arrived and I feel as check in is 3pm the property should be warm ready for check in. The next day we woke and it was again cold. The property could do with a deep clean, lots of dust around the edge of the lounge and the lamps in the bedroom were very dusty. The kitchen cupboards were very dirty and the floor didn't seem like it had been cleaned in the kitchen.We swept it and I don't think it had been cleaned.

A lovely detached bungalow set on a quiet lane in the heart of the ever-popular coastal village of Rhosneigr, on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

This cosy Rhosneigr cottage is decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout to offer airy ground floor accommodation, suitable for families and friends of all ages.

French doors lead from the sitting room onto the private front patio, complete with garden furniture and glimpses of the sea.

An enclosed rear patio gives total privacy.

This Rhosneigr cottage offers four lovely bedrooms, a sitting room with a large comfortable leather sofa and chairs with room for everyone, a great dining area and a fully-fitted and well-equipped kitchen, providing all you will need for a superb holiday.

The combination and layout of rooms lends itself to both small and large groups.

The village and beaches are within 2 minutes' walk of this Anglesey cottage making this a great base from which to explore the wonderful coastline, coves and activities that Rhosneigr has to offer.

Llangefni 12 miles; Trearddur Bay 12 miles; Holyhead 13 miles.

The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (starting point for day trips to Dublin), and the city of Bangor within easy travelling distance. Rhosneigr is located near to RAF Valley, famed For Prince William's Air Sea Rescue training base. Alsolose by is the Anglesey Race Circuit, great for lovers or car and motorbike racing, while on the island you will find Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Beaumaris Castle. Boat trips around Puffin Island offer the chance to see nesting puffins and guillemots, or cross to the mainland and enjoy Victorian Llandudno’s shopping, restaurants and dry ski slope, Snowdonia mountains and the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula.
