“What a gem of a place this find was.”

We were out on our adventures every day but what a great place to come back to and relax with a beer/wine looking across the valley. And so quiet even though you're next to a road it's hardly noticeable. Our host Steve was such a nice man and rang before our holiday to check in on us

“We had a lovely week at summertime it was very comfortable and had every thing you could need for cooking great tv and decked area to admire those fantastic views.”

“A little jem, tucked away from the noisier resorts.”

Beautifully presented and very well equipped. Fabulous scenic views from the large outside decking area. A 5 minute drive to a natural beach with great cafe & bar/ lounge with entertainment. Some of the best cycling/ walking trails in the very near locacality So many interesting places to visit that we will be returning in the not too distant future. *****

There were sufficient amenities to keep us comfortable and place was maintained well.We were also visited by the hosts to offer any more support , which was very kind. Would highly recommend this place for a scenic stay and relaxation

“All ok but needs some maintenance.”

For example the descriptions on the oven knobs have all rubbed off and there are no helpful instruction booklets. The door to the main bedroom will not close. A freezer would be helpful as would a washing machine both of which are normally available in similar holiday accommodation.Lovely views from terrace. Quite dangerous exiting the property onto a busy road. It is impossible to see traffic until the last minute. Overall we had a good holiday. Not sure we would stay here again.

Hi John. Thanks for your constructive comments. We have recently taken over the Lodges and have a planned programme of improvements which are ongoing. We had not noticed the oven knobs so thanks for telling us and this will be dealt with. We also plan to replace all the doors to the bedrooms in due course. Regarding the access this is onto a rural road and care does need to be taken when exiting. We do however keep the hedges either side as low as possible. Thanks once again for your comments. “Had a lovely stay.”

Beautiful views. Little bit noisy being right on the road with passing cars but didn’t detract from our stay. Had to battle quite a few spiders and webs inside but that’s what you get in the countryside. Towels were super fluffy and lovely. Thank you.

Renowned for its enormous beaches, the whole area offers safe bathing waters and excellent watersports facilities, whilst for walking enthusiasts the Offa's Dyke pathway and the Clwydian Hill Range are both nearby.
