    “We left the owner a note saying that the cottage and area great.”

    Friendly hosts. The only complaints were the sofa uncomfortable. But the bed was very uncomfortable, they had actually put old duvets on top of the mattress before mattress protector and sheet. This didn't help in any way. Didn't have a decent nights sleep all week. The hot tub was only checked once, this didn't include the water being tested, just topping up and putting chlorine tablet in the tub.

Patio doors lead out onto an enclosed garden with elevated views across the surrounding countryside, and of course the hot tub has been installed for you to enjoy a relaxing experience enhanced by the clear night skies in the area.

The property is on a small holding With the owner's added touches throughout, this Betws yn Rhos cottage is a lovely destination to spend a relaxing week away.

Tyn Y Caeau Uchaf Cottages

Betws yn Rhos, 1.6 miles. These pretty semi-detached cottages are set in beautiful north Welsh countryside on the owner's working cattle and sheep farm near the village of Betws yn Rhos. Offering welcoming, open plan living accommodation the cottages are ideal for those looking to get away from it all in a lovely peaceful country environment, but with fantastic, exciting days out within easy reach. Both cottages have their own patio with a hot tub which is a fantastic place to relax after a day spent exploring the area. Due to their rural location, you can enjoy evenings star gazing and if you are lucky you may see the passing International Space Station which is frequently observed in its orbit above the cottage. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area. Nearby Betws yn Rhos is a peaceful village with all the local amenities you could need including a shop and a friendly village pub. These cottages are in an ideal location for visiting popular North Wales coastal villages and towns including Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Abergele. With castles, fantastic walks and cycle routes and a number of other attractions nearby, this is an ideal base with something for everyone.

Betws yn Rhos is a peaceful Welsh village with a local village shop, Post Office and friendly village pub which offers quality dining, real ales, games room and dog-friendly beer garden. The Silver Birch golf course is a welcoming Pay and Play 18-hole course, which is also home to the first 18-hole Footgolf in Wales, suitable for all ages and skills. Within 4 miles you will find the sandy beaches and coastal path leading from Colwyn Bay, through Llanddulas and into Abergele, which is a pleasant seaside town on the lovely North Wales coastline and is ideally positioned between the stunning Vale of Clwyd and the lovely Conwy Valley. Renowned for the impressive Gwrych Castle which overlooks the town and its enormous sandy beach, the whole area offers safe bathing waters and excellent watersports facilities. There is also a coastal cycle path which runs along the Abergele seafront, and for walking enthusiasts, the Offa's Dyke pathway, the Clwydian Hill Range and beautiful Betws-y-Coed known as the "gateway to Snowdonia" with Zip World and Surf Snowdonia all within easy travelling distance. The beautiful castles of Rhuddlan, Bodelwyddan, Conwy and Caernarfon are not to be missed, and the delightful Victorian town of Llandudno, offering quality shops, restaurants, a fantastic dry ski slope and exciting cable car rides over the Great Orme is nearby. There is plenty to do in this wonderful region at any time of the year!
