We stayed here (5 people and a dog) and we can only say positive things.
Everywhere was very clean, leaflets of things to do and places to eat and some games were provided in the living room cupboard. Our cane corso had plenty of room and was very happy with her stay, as well as the grounds that are provided as a small dog walking area. There was a small issue with the hot tub, however, I called the owner the night it happened, he profusely apologised and explained that he would inform the maintenance team, maintenance was there by 8/9 am to fix it the next day. They have been nothing but professional and friendly; there is also a secure dog field a couple of minutes away from the accommodation that we used which is lovely. My father loved having the golf on site, as well as this we all loved being able to walk to the small shopping outlet (about a 2 minute walk from our stay). I would 100% recommend and we will definitely be returning.
The hot tub jets kept coming off in the hot tub the check out morning they was emptying hot tub at 845 staring through our windows when we don’t have to checkout until 10am felt like we was getting rushed out very strange we should have the full property until 10am like stated the dog or kids could of got out very easily so was not happy with that and there was ants in the large bedroom and shower was full of limescale
We loved the log cabin.
Very cozy and comfy and the log fire was so nice. Place was clean n tidy home from home feel. Hot tub was a winner from my son. Oven was dirty so we couldn't use it. I would not recommend booking through sykes cottages though not very helpful
